SOLIS -- Roberto M. Solis, 67, passed away Sunday, May 27, 2007 of complications of his diabetes condition. He is survived by his wife, Luz Elena Solis; his stepdaughter, Veronica Alba; and grandchildren, Miguel and Martin in Albuquerque; three children from previous marriage: Marty, Mark, and Lisa from Tucson, AZ. Roberto served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1956 to 1963. Roberto's professional career spanned 30 years with the Federal Court System. TEMPLE -- Daniel (Danny) A. Temple, 38, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Monday, May 28, 2007. Danny was born January 13, 1969, the son of Edmund Ted and Ruth Marlene Meade Temple in Redwood City, CA. He had worked as an installer in the Interior Decorating business. Danny was an avid fisherman, and loved watching sports. Danny was preceded in death by two half brothers, Tom and Les Temple. He is survived by his mother, Ruth M. Houston and husband, William of Albuquerque; his father, Edmund Temple; one sister, Jill Temple of California. Danny had many friends and will be sorely missed by many people. It has been suggested that memorial contributions be made to the St. Vincent DePaul Society, 714 4th Street, Albuquerque, NM 87102. TERWILLIGER -- Anna Mae Terwilliger passed away peacefully March 7, 2007. She was born in Parsons, KS, December 13, 1911. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 1/2 years, A. Richard (Dick) Terwilliger; her parents, Ethel and John Gabriel; and her sister, Emogene Chrisman. She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Wormeli and husband, Paul of Reston, VA; her daughter, Martha Meister and husband, David of Albuquerque; her grandsons, Richard Wormeli and wife, Kelly of Herndon, VA, Benjamin Wormeli and wife, Natalie of Davis, CA, John Meister and wife, Margaret of Albuquerque, James Meister and wife, Christina of Germantown, MD; great-grandchildren, Ryan and Lynn Wormeli, Laurel and Jake Meister, and Nadia and Helena Meister. Anna Mae taught in a one room country schoolhouse for three years. Married on July 23, 1936, Anna Mae and Dick moved to Santa Fe, where Dick taught at the Allison-James Presbyterian Mission School. Their life continued to Drexel, MO and Urbana, IL from 1940 until 1947, when the family moved back to Albuquerque, NM. Anna Mae has lived her last 13 years at Manzano Del Sol Good Samaritan Village, where she had many good friends and loving care. Church and family were the guiding forces in Anna Mae's life. She was a loving, supportive wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church for 60 years. There she served as a Deacon for several years and was Chairperson of the Deacon Board. She also was a member of Mariners and the Women's Association. Anna Mae participated in Eastern Star for many years, and was a member of the Masonic Widows after Dick's death. She delivered Meals on Wheels in Northeast Albuquerque for over 20 years. Anna Mae loved to play Bridge and Bingo. She crocheted afghans for her daughters, and was always interested in the lives of her family members. The family wishes to thank the staff at Manzano Del Sol and Evercare for the loving care of our mother, especially these past two years. TSINNAJINNIE -- Myrna Eleanor Tsinnajinnie, 58, was called by the Creator on May 26, 2007 and joined her parents, Leonora and Godofredo Manuel in heaven. She is survived by her husband, Robert Tsinnajinnie; their three children: Leola, Belin, and Lani; and her siblings: Tommy Manuel and Lorna Sue. Myrna was born on February 24, 1949 and raised in Waipahu, HI. Myrna first came to New Mexico as an exchange student from the University of Hawaii and worked at the Institute of American Indian Arts in Santa Fe as a resident assistant. After graduating from the University of Hawaii, she moved to New Mexico where she met and fell in love with her husband, Robert, while working in Albuquerque. Myrna and Robert were married on October 12, 1974. Together while raising their three children, they spent 31 years as educators in the Navajo communities of Pine Hill and Na' Neelzhiin. As a teacher, she poured her soul into committing her heart into motivating and bringing out the best of talents in each of her students. As a friend, Myrna, through her loving hands, she cooked, she danced, she brought together her friends and weaved them into a family. As a mother, from their births, her beauty has been carried in the hearts of her children. Together with her husband, they built a home filled with love, spirituality, laughter, and affection. The love and passion between Myrna and Bob touched everyone around them. As best friends, they lived together, worked together, played together, and used the power of their love to share their blessings with others. A Rosary will be held Friday, June 1, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Cuba, NM. A Mass will also be held on Saturday, June 2, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception church in Cuba. Her burial will take place at a family plot in Torreon, NM. A reception will follow at the Immaculate Conception church in Cuba.

WEST -- Crystal Maxine West, 93, Salina, KS, died Tuesday, May 29, 2007 at Kenwood View Rehab and Healthcare in Salina, KS. Ms. West was born on March 16, 1914 in Iola, KS, the daughter of the late Hans Christian and Dorotha Mildred (Brooke) Jensen. She worked as a seamstress at Enchanted Textiles in Albuquerque, NM. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen West; a son, Lewis West; and a brother, Lewis Jensen. She is survived by two daughters: Reita Jordan and husband, Scott of Albuquerque, NM and Dottie Lee and husband, Boyd of Salina, KS. Her grandchildren, Denise Russell and husband, Dennis of Salina, KS, Dale Petty and wife, Mona of Harrison, AR, Doug Petty and wife, Deena of Salina, KS, Scott Jordan and wife, Eileen of Albuquerque, NM, DeEtta Petty of New Cambria, KS, David Petty and wife, Ronda of Kinsley, Carrie Stephens and husband, Jeff of Colorado City, CO, Carla Bullard and husband, Rex of Albuquerque, NM, Don Petty and wife, Jonetta of Salina, KS and Duane Petty and wife, Bobbie of St. George, KS; 22 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren. ANDRESEN -- John K. Andresen, always known as "KIBBY," passed away on Friday, May 25, 2007. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Katherine Woolston Andresen; and his parents, Dolly Barge and Frederick Barge. Kibby is survived by his brother, Gilbert E, Andresen. He was in the restaurant business in Albuquerque with his mother for over 30 years. Kibby retired from the International Association of Bridge, Structural, Ornamental, and Reinforcing Iron Workers in Missouri. He was a long-time member of the Albuquerque Country Club and the Masons' Webster Groves Lodge No. 84. ATKINSON -- DWAYNE ARTHUR Born January 19, 1973, date of death May 5, 2007. He is survived by his father, Albert Rodriguez; two sisters, Charlene and husband, Kevin Fletcher, Lara and husband, Tony Swanson; one brother, Eric Rodriguez; three nephews Adam, Anthony, Niko; and a niece, Desiree. He was proceeded in death by his grandmother, Florence Wicke; his mother, Carolyn; and his son, Robert Dean Atkinson. Dwayne was one of a kind, he was a caring, loving gentleman. He will be missed by his family and friends. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday June 2, 2007 at 10:00 a.m., at Aspen Funeral Alternatives, located on Juan Tabo NE 323-9000. BABEL -- Dr. Stephen George Babel, 51, passed away peacefully at home with family May 28, 2007 after a brief battle with cancer. He was born in Rock Springs, WY on November 30, 1955 to George and Therese Babel. Steve is survived by his wife Cindy Pease-Babel; children, LeighAnn, Greg, Ryan and Cassie; siblings, Ginny, Jack, Ruth, Mark, George, Patty, and Lori; fellow radiologists at X-Ray Associates; and many more family members, friends, and colleagues. He practiced medicine for 25 years, and was recently named a Fellow of the American College of Radiology. He will be greatly missed by all of those he touched, both in his personal life and in the medical community. Steve was preceded in death by his parents and his youngest brother, Jimmy John. Rosary recitation will be Sunday, June 3, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. at French Mortuary Wyoming Blvd. Chapel. Mass will be celebrated Monday, June 4, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at Prince of Peace Catholic Church with Father Michael Shea as the celebrant. BECKER -- Richard W. Becker, Ph. D., passed away on Wednesday, May 30, 2007. He was a member of Heights Cumberland Presbyterian Church and a graduate of Valley High School's class of 1961. Dr. Becker earned his B.S. from the University of New Mexico in 1965, his M.S.W. from Arizona State University in 1967, and his Ph. D. from the University of New Mexico in 2001. He retired from the Albuquerque Veteran's Medical center in 1996 where he was employed as a clinical social worker. Dr. Becker served as a volunteer with many conservation organizations. He was a past president of the Albuquerque Wildlife Federation, the Albuquerque Chapter National Wild Turkey Federation, the New Mexico Riparian Council, the New Mexico Friends of the Forest, the Environmental Education Association of New Mexico. Dr. Becker also served as the State Coordinator for the Leopold Education Project and supervisor with the Valencia Soil and Water Conservation District. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and wildlife photography. Dr. Becker was a member of the New Mexico Mountain Club and the Rio Grande Mule and Donkey Association. He was the proud owner of a miniature horse, Snickles and enjoyed caring for the miniature donkey, Pancho, that he gave to his wife, Carol Simone Maria Chavez, as a present for Easter of 2006. Dr. Becker was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and son. He is survived by his wife, Carol Simone Maria Chavez; daughters, Michelle Smith and husband, Doug, Sandra Lyon and husband, Sean; grandchildren, Benjamin Shu-Smith, Victoria Lyon, Evan Lyon; mother, Geraldine Becker; father, Robert Becker; brother, Donald Becker; nephew, Jason Anderson; and numerous other friends and relatives. Services will be held on Monday, June 4, 2007, 10:00 a.m., at Highs Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 8600 Academy NE. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE.
