ADAMS -- Jerry Ronald Adams "Happiness is not getting what you want, but wanting what you have" is the simple creed Jerry Ronald Adams lived his life by. Born January 2, 1941 in Albuquerque, he passed on to his heavenly home on August 27, 2004 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Survivors include his wife, Pat; two daughters, Julie (Gary) Stepic and Mindy (Rob) Kueffer; two sons:, Brad (Connie) Adams, and Kenny Adams; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren; brother, Don Adams; and many other family members. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to Albuquerque Presbyterian Hospice. A private memorial service was held Saturday, September 4th, 2004 at Ft. Sumner Lake, New Mexico.

BACA -- Steve "Poyo" B. Baca passed away Thursday, September 2, 2004, after a long illness. He proudly served in the US Marine Corps and enjoyed being with his family and friends. Steve is survived by his loving wife, Judy; his daughter, Francesca; his mother, Mella Baca; his sister, Marlo Guillen and husband, Frank; his brother, Manuel Baca and wife, Kate Barnard; numerous nieces; nephews; other family; and friends who loved and will miss him. Memorial services will be held at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna NW, on Tuesday, September 7, 2004. A Rosary will be recited at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 7, 2004, followed by the Funeral Mass being celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Mt. BEGLEY -- Mary Louis Begley, daughter of Bernard & Lillian Himes, born in El Paso, TX on September 23, 1923, went home to be with the Lord September 1, 2004. She was preceded in death by her son, Carl Begley Jr. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 58 years, Carl Sr.; son, Donald & wife, Joyce; son, David & wife, Elaine; daughter, Vickie Aguilar & husband, David; her grandchildren, Ivan & wife, Gisela, Dylan, Melinda & husband, Eric, Caiti, Michelle & husband, Brock, Philip & wife, Christina, and Coleman; and her great-grandchildren, Isaac, Avery, Elyse, Max, Mikayla, Melia, Haeleigh, and Liam. Mary retired from US West in 1976 and spent the remainder of her life pursuing her passion for travel and enjoying God's creation. GARCIA -- Seledonio (Sal) passed away Monday morning August 30, 2004. He is survived by one beloved brother and family Louie Garcia and wife Merlinda Garcia. He also had two nieces, Theresa Garcia and Carl Garcia; one nephew, Ivan Montoya and wife Annabelle Montoya; great nieces and great nephews, Debbie Montoya, daughter Mercedes and son Robert, Jr. Also, Brenda Montoya, Cordero Montoya Ivan, Jr. Montoya, father of Ashley and Amanda, Mary Baldonado, husband of Carlos Baldonado son Jonah, Jude and daughter Jade, Tammara Garcia, Tommy Garcia, daughter Kaitlynn. Sal was a veteran in World War II. In WW II he was in combat and received the Purple Heart and was an active member of the D.A.V. and other legions and enjoy all his beautiful cars. He took special care of cars and they were his pride and enjoy. God Bless you and we will miss you and you will be in our hearts. You are in good hands right now. GRAY -- Edith Gray, age 92, of Albuquerque, died at a local hospital Thursday, September 2, 2004. She was born December 14, 1911 in Texas, the daughter of Bud and Iva (Williams) Queen. Edith attended Faith Chapel. She is survived by 7 daughters: Marie Roark and Bessie Simmons of Albuquerque, NM; Maxine Cox of Denver, CO; Ruby Barnett and her husband Luther of Belen, NM; Esther Burrows of Corrales, NM; Dollie Richardson and her husband Jim & Opal Mitchell of Corpus Christi, TX. Edith is also survived by 26 grandchildren; 47 great grandchildren and 20 great great grandchildren. Visitation will be held 5-7 PM, Monday in Palm Chapel at Strong-Thorne Mortuary. Mark lived in the Houston, TX area since 1980, and attended Clements High School in Sugar Land, TX. He worked in the construction trades. INGOGLIA -- Josephine Ingoglia, 96, died Sept. 4, 2004, in Rio Rancho. Josephine was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., to Anthony Truglio and Marie Giambalvo Truglio. She was preceded in death by her husband Frank in 1991. Josephine moved to Rio Rancho from New York in 1986, and was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Rio Rancho. She is survived by: her son Joseph Ingoglia Sr. and wife Helen of Rio Rancho; two grandchildren, Joseph S. Ingoglia Jr. and wife Martha of Rio Rancho and Elizabeth Latham and husband David of Albuquerque; and three great-grandchildren, Milla and Emma Latham and Ambrosia Ingoglia. LAVICTOIRE -- Ruth Fowler Brown, 81, passed away Wednesday, September 1, 2004, from complications of congestive heart failure. She was a New Mexico resident since 1949. LUCERO -- Mary Chavez Lucero. On September 1, 2004, Mary C. Lucero, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family after a brief and brave battle with lung cancer. Mary was born November 29, 1922. She graduated from Albuquerque High School, class of 1940. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Antonio and Veneranda Chavez; brothers, Anthony and Victor Chavez; and son, Paul A. Lucero. Mary is survived by her sisters, Susie C. Sena, Virginia Chavez; and brother, Ambrose V. Chavez. She is also survived by her husband of 56 years, Thomas J. Lucero; and children: Robert T. Lucero, Ramona M. Lucero and husband, Mike Thompson, Andrew Chavez Lucero and wife, Sian Hughes, J. Ambrose Lucero, Larry M. Lucero and wife, Jan Lucero, Frances A. Lucero, Mary Ann Lucero and partner, Gloria Baca, and Michael J. Lucero and wife, Margo Lucero; her grandchildren, Leeane M. Henry, Bryan R. Lucero, Paul T. Lucero, Marc A. Lucero, Damon A. NEUMEYER -- Glenn B. Neumeyer, 78, a resident of Albuquerque for 14 years, died Friday, September 3, 2004. He is survived by his son, Nick Neumeyer and wife, Lisa of Torrance, CA; sister, Kaye Krause and husband, Gayle of El Dorado, KS; cousin, Joanne Cooley and husband, Daryl of El Paso, TX; three grandchildren, Scott, Royce, and Teah; and two great-grandchildren, Castin and Elyssa. ROSS -- Clay M. Ross, 90, born Monday, September 29, 1913 in Monticello, AR, died Monday, August 30, 2004 at his home in Albuquerque, NM surrounded by his family. Clay was the third of five children of Walker Clay and Ethel Thomas Ross. After graduation from the University of Arkansas in 1937, he received a Masters Degree from the University of Virginia in 1939. Clay proudly served in the United States Navy during WW II aboard the battleship USS North Carolina, participating in eleven major Pacific Campaigns. He was recalled to Washington, DC during the Korean War and left the service in 1956 as a Commander. Clay was instrumental in creating the Naval Reserve in Oklahoma City, OK. After 30 years of services in various locations and positions, Clay retired from Sears Roebuck and Company as Group Manager, Kansas City in 1977. Returning to Albuquerque with his wife, Kathryn "Kit", Clay joined the staff of Berger Briggs where he worked until has passing. >From early childhood he was an active and dedicated member of several Presbyterian Churches, serving as both Deacon and Elder. In addition to his extensive church work, Clay was a member of the Salvation Army Advisory Board, A Rotarian "Fellow", a member of the Albuquerque Country Club and was associated with numerous other Organization and Boards. Clay is survived by his loving wife of 60 years Kathryn "Kit"; daughters Amy McGhie Ross of Albuquerque and Gretchen Ross Odum and husband, Marvin Odum, of Houston, TX; grandchildren Debbie Odum Hutchinson and husband, Joe, of College Station, TX, Marvin Odum III and wife, Mariloli, of London, England, Brian Odum and wife, Suzanne, and Marcus Odum and wife, Michelle, all of Houston, TX; seven great grandchildren, Lauren, Marvin IV, Taylor, Alexandra, Madison, Hayes and Morgan; brother Lamar Ross and wife, Erma, of Monticello AR; sister Helen Stuckey of Monticello, AR; brother, William Fay Ross and wife, Joy, of Okalahoma City, OK; sister-in-law Lexie Triesch of Long Beach, CA and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Clay was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Mairee Staggs of Beebe, AR. STEINBECK -- Dolores Steinbeck, 96, a resident of Albuquerque since 1967, died September 1, 2004. She is survived by her daughter, Jean Charlton and husband, Clem of Albuquerque; granddaughter, Lori Gardner and husband, Mark of Albuquerque; and grandson, Jim Fjelseth of Albuquerque, she is also survived by five great grandchildren. Dolores was one of 11 children and is survived by three brothers and three sisters. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bert Steinbeck. The family would like to thank Vista Care Hospice and the Garland House for their excellent care and compassion. TAYLOR -- Eric Joseph Taylor, 15, a resident of Albuquerque, NM passed away on Thursday, September 2, 2004. He was a faithful member of Calvary of Albuquerque where he remained active until his passing. He was an avid BMX rider and also loved attending the Christian Karate Academy. He excelled in everything he did, especially art and he loved music. Eric was well known to his family and friends as a comedian and was always able to put a smile on everyone's face. Eric was a sophomore at Cibola High School. Eric will be deeply missed by everyone whose life he touched. He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Eva Baker; his auntie Suzette Marin; his uncle Alex Taylor; and his cousin, Jeremy Campos. Eric is survived by his mother, Sally Thomas and her husband, Massey; his father, Peter Taylor and his wife, Annette; his brothers, Jonathan, Peter Ryan, and Santana; his sisters, Nicole, Jordin and Kristen; his grandparents, Ernest and Priscilla Taylor; his grandmother Yolanda Marin; his Godparents, Michael and Jean Taylor and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and many friends. TRUJILLO -- Yvonne "Bonnie" Trujillo, 55, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, was called home by our Heavenly Father on Sunday August 29, 2004. a resident of Albuquerque, She will be missed by all her close friends and lifelong companions for her great sense of humor and compassionate friendship. Yvonne was born in Raton, NM to the late Joseph L. LePore. She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Luciano "Lucky" Trujillo; her wonderful mother, LeNora LePore; by her loving children, Nicole Trujillo, Alisha Trujillo, Alfonso LePore; Also surviving is her sister, Rita DeBary; brothers, Anthony LePore, Don LePore; and her precious grandchildren, Xavier, Michael, and Donovan; and several nieces and nephews. Yvonne will be greatly missed by her loving family. Cremation has taken place and Services will be held at Victory Outreach 913 Sunset SW (Bridge & Sunset SW) at 6:00 p.m. Saturday September 4, 2004

USSERY -- FRANCES JOANN -- Services are scheduled for 10:30 A.M., Tuesday, September 7, 2004 at the First United Methodist Church for Frances Joann Ussery, 69 of Roswell, quietly passed away in her sleep to spend eternity at her side of her beloved Lord ,on September 3, 2004. Rev. Archie Echols will officiate. Interment will follow at South Park Cemetery. Joann was born on October 7, 1934 in Rogers, New Mexico to Sybil and Pike Van Winkle, the seventh of fourteen children. She was preceded in death by her parents as well as her brothers: Gerald and Albert Van Winkle and a sister, Joy McGaha. She married John Ussery on February 21, 1954 in. He survives her at the family home . Other survivors include her three sons: Mike and his wife, Stacey of Austin, TX.; Brad of Albuquerque and Gerald of Scottsdale, AZ. She was also very proud of her four grandsons: John Ussery of Bandera, TX and her A, B, C's:: Alex, Ben and Cal Ussery of Austin, TX; her mother in law: Willie Faye McGrew of Roswell; Van Winkle Brothers: Wayne of Carlsbad, Elvis of Portales, Fred of Ruidoso, Bill of Lubbock and Jim of Ruidoso.; her sisters: Wanda Hankins of Bogalusa,, LA; Vera Arnold of Portales, Helen Hester of Albuquerque, Voncile McGee of Elida, and Janice Turner of Lovington. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews living throughout the country and many very close members of her Women's Prayer Group: Billie Turner, Peggy Wilson, Jenny Lou Mayes, Marge Kennon, Nancy Smith: her longtime business partner, Rosetta Holmes and a host of other great friends and relatives.Joann attended school in Rogers and Portales. She and John lived in West Texas and Truth or Consequences before settling in Roswell in 1967. In Roswell, Joann worked as an Office Manager for Northwest Mutual Life Insurance for many years, prior to going into business as Co-Owner/Operator of Fran's Fashions and later the Mulberry Bush, both in downtown Roswell. She retired from those ventures in 1988 to enjoy more leisure time with her family and friends. Joann has been actively involved in the First United Methodist Church in Roswell and the Alpha Phi Chapter of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. Over her years, Joann spent a great deal of time in numerous community service activities and family care giving..In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Heart Association, 1280 S. WEISS -- Ron Weiss, 72, a resident of Albuquerque for 28 years, died Friday, September 3, 2004. He is survived by his wife, Eve E. Weiss; children, Brian Weiss, Tim Weiss and wife, Karen, Susie Hurel and husband, John, Russell Kenderdine and wife, Becky, Paul Kenderdine and wife, Brenda, Melanie Kenderdine and husband, Steve Cary and Shawn Kenderdine and husband, George Watson and 12 grandchildren. Ron served his country in the US Coast Guard and US Air Force. He retired from Martin Marrietta. Ron was an avid RV'er, loved golf and knew his computers. WING -- Lawrence A. Wing, age 77, of Albuquerque, NM, died August 31, 2004, at University of New Mexico Hospital. Mr. Wing was born April 9, 1927, in Ionia, MI. Mr. Wing was a veteran of WWII and the Korean War. In 1945, he was a Navy medical corpsman during WWII and then went into the Naval Reserve. In 1951, he was called for the Korean War and was the Naval Chaplain assistant and a corpsman on weekends. Mr. Wing retired from Chrysler Corporation in 1987, with the title of Manager of International Purchasing. He moved to Albuquerque, NM in 1999. Mr. Wing was a loving, devoted partner and father, with a very high moral and ethical standing. He was highly intelligent and had a dry sense of humor. He loved to travel, was an avid art collector and book enthusiast, played the piano, and was very gifted in painting, needlework, and pretty much anything he set his mind to. Mr. Wing was loyal to a fault, and without exception he could be counted on in a crisis. Mr. Wing is survived by his partner, James Kramer; and children, Michael (Zeina) Wing, Mark (Cindy) Wing, Mary Lesniak, Michele (John) Harris, Melissa Wing-Ronca (Tano), and Kathleen (David) Schell. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Jeremy, Danny, Amanda, Nicole, Chris, Lisa, Katie, Dina, Derek, Ryan, and Hannah; great-grandchild, Angel; brothers, Robert Wing and The Rev. Fr.
