Aragon -- John (TaTa) Aragon, born August 26, 1923 in Montoya, New Mexico passed away June 9, 2001 one week after his partner for 62 years, Lillian passed away. Tata passed away after a long battle with Parkinson's. He is preceded in death by his wife, Lillian; daughter's Mary Lillian Aragon Garcia, Evangeline Aragon, his parents, Jose Piedad Aragon, Apolinara Aragon, brothers, Benito, Charlie, Joe Aragon, sisters, Carmen Montoya and Corrine Baca. He is survived by sons, John and wife, Agnes and Eddy and wife, Frances; grandchildren, Randy Garcia, Joe (Dino) Garcia, Jamie Aragon, Mary Lillian Aragon, and fiance, Leonard Sanchez, Edward Aragon, Jr. and finance, Jessica Ramos, Antoinette Trujillo and husband, Nathan, Jimmy Chavez, Annette Martinez and husband; 17 great-grandchildren; sisters, Lucy Salas, Selsa Chavez and husband, Margarito, Celina Rivera and husband, Frank, Mary Jane Alire and husband, Casey; brothers, Mike Aragon and wife, Theo, Florencio Aragon and wife, Carmen, Raymond Aragon and wife, Margie, Rudy Aragon and many nieces and nephews. Tata, worked hard from the time he was 10 years old. He had to work to help support his brothers and sisters. He would take care of sheep all alone in the Mountains. Worked for the WPA with a fake ID when he was 16. When his country called he went leaving behind his pregnant wife. He was in the 7th Army, 106th Infantry in France and Germany, where he was wounded. When he came home he worked various jobs. Until he went to work as an Ironworker for Local #495 he retired in 1975 with 32 years as an Ironworker. Like many of the Greatest Generation, Family was not only first it was everything. He loved to cook, especially breakfast on Sunday mornings after church when he would make tortillas, eggs and chile. John and Lillian were always together until his Parkinson's got so bad that he had to stay with his sons. He was a member of the Holy Name Society at St. Charles, the 40 & 8, and VFW #401. His patience, compassion and love for those around him will never be forgotten. Dad, Tata we will miss you and think of you always. When people ask us who was the Greatest Person they have known those who knew you will say Juan Aragon, for your love & kindness, and courage. Service arrangements are pending and will be announced. Baca -- Mrs. Mary J. Baca, 80, born July 22, 1920 and a resident of Albuquerque passed away on June 8, 2001. Mrs. Baca is the beloved mother to Patsy Armijo and husband Albert, Nancy Madril and husband, Joe, Mona Ulibarri, Berna Gutierrez and husband, Ricardo, Reuben Baca and Sammy Baca. Her grandchildren, Yolanda, Shauna, Dion, Brenda, Roger, Diana, Stanley, Randy, Tony, Pauline, Felisha, Veronica, Chrystal, Richard and Sonya; 17 great-grandchildren and brothers, and sisters, Milo, Felix, George, Herman, Nick, Jimmy and Polly Sandoval; Vera Padilla their spouses and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Eutimio Baca and a brother, Patrick Sandoval. Mrs. Baca was a member of the Catholic Church. A Rosary will be recited Monday evening at 7:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel with visitation after 6:30 p.m. Deacon Tom Perez reciting. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday morning at 10:30 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 619 Copper Ave NW. Father Lambert, celebrant. Final visitation will be in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, Tuesday morning from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the San Jose de Armijo Cemetery. Brown -- James A. Brown, 72, a resident of Rio Rancho for the past five years, passed away on Friday, June 8, 2001. James was born April 8, 1929 the son of Francis and Florence Ziegler Brown in Jersey Shore, Pennsylvania. He had been the owner/operator of a paint and hardware store before retiring. James served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the American Legion, VFW, Elks Lodge of Ft. Walton Beach, FL, Masonic Lodge, Shriners, Scottish Rites of Santa Fe, and the Meadowlark Senior Center of Rio Rancho. James is survived by his wife, Mary Jane of Rio Rancho; son, John of Santa Fe; and daughter, Martha and husband, Paul of Buffalo Grove, IL; and two grandchildren, Rebecka and Jason of Buffalo Grove, IL. Caster -- Leon Wesley Caster, 70, a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend, died Saturday, June 9, 2001. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Jackie Caster of Albuquerque; son, Lon Caster and wife, Suzanne of Albuquerque; daughters, Robin Armenta and husband, Ken of Capitan, NM, and Sande Lucero of Albuquerque; and nine grandchildren, Wesley, Justin, Tracy, Lisa, Willie, Jeff, Samantha Jo, Lee, and Lane. He was born March 11, 1931 in Estancia, NM. Mr. Caster served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He retired after 35 years with the V.A. Medical Center. Chavez -- Trinidad Joe Chavez, 79, was called home to be with the Lord on June 5, 2001. He was a proud member of the DAV, Sangre De Cristo Catholic Church and the Moose Lodge. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Geraldine Chavez; and brother, Fred Chavez. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Apolonia Chavez; three sons, Eloy Chavez, Tim Chavez and wife, Julie, Gil Chavez all of Albuquerque; six daughters, Shirley Maestas and husband, Joe of Louisville, Colorado, Elenore Rivera of Albuquerque, Connie Cervantes and husband, Richard of Laffette, Colorado, Cindy Jaramillo and husband, Micheal of Albuquerque, Gloria Vigil and husband, Norman of Albuquerque and Elaine Chavez; two brothers, Mike and wife, Lucy of Albuquerque, Ruben and wife, Dora of Cheyenne, Wyoming; two sisters, Mary Nolan and husband, Manuel of Cheyenne, Wyoming, Annie Trujillo and husband, Joe of Cheyenne, Wyoming; 21 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren. Curry -- Roy Curry, 81, passed away at the VA Hospital June 4, 2001. A native New Mexican, he served in the US Army during WWII. He enjoyed traveling the world, and worked as a mechanic and engineer. Roy is survived by his wife, Nancy Curry; son, Roy Lee Curry; six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; brothers, Ray Curry, Foy Curry, and other family and friends who will miss him. His remains were interred in the Santa Fe National Cemetery on Thursday, June 7, 2001. Erickson -- Elsie Olivette Erickson, 94, passed away June 8, 2001. She was born November 21, 1906 in Grand Rapids, MN. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest C. Erickson who passed away April 1997. She is survived by her son, Paul C. Erickson and his wife, Karen; grandson, Mark C. Erickson; granddaughter, Traci L. Erickson; three great-grandson. Mrs. Erickson was a devoted wife, mother. She was also a devoted school teacher for 30 years before retiring and relocating to NM in 1980. She enjoyed spending time playing bridge, singing in the choir, playing the organ, needlework and sewing. The family wishes to give special thanks to the staff at Manzano del Sol Good Samaritan Village Health Care Center for the loving care they gave Elsie for the past four years. Fleming -- John S. Fleming Jr., age 88, passed away June 7, 2001 in Albuquerque. He was born August 21, 1912. He was a resident of Albuquerque for 43 years. Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Violet Fleming of Albuquerque; one daughter, Joan Kosel and husband, Edward of Albuquerque; two sons, Jack Fleming and wife, Josephine of Santa Fe, and Richard Fleming and wife, Patty of Albuquerque; ten grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Galbraith -- Alfred H. Galbraith, resident of Albuquerque, passed away on June 8, 2001. He is survived by his daughters, Beth Hinks and husband, Scott of Waukesha, WI, and Laura Galbraith of Albuquerque, and 2 grandchildren, Joanna and Nathan. Alfred graduated from Kansas State University where he received a degree in Electrical Engineering. He worked for the Santa Fe Railway and retired after 26 years. Gillis -- Edward G. Gillis, 88, a resident of Albuquerque since 1949, died on June 5, 2001. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Velma T. Gillis; daughter, Donna O�Connor and husband, Tom of Great Falls, MT; sons, James Gillis and wife, Joanne of El Paso, TX, Michael Gillis of El Paso, TX, John Gillis and wife, Candace of Santa Fe, and Richard Gillis and wife, Christina of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Kurt O�Connor, Tara Demick and husband, Mark, Anne Dimond and husband, Sean, all of Seattle, WA and Timothy O�Connor of San Diego, CA, and Patrick Gillis; great-grandchildren, Stasia and Emiley Demick. Edward was born in Detroit, Michigan on November 16, 1912. He and Velma were married in Pontiac, Michigan on August 8, 1936 and moved to Albuquerque in 1949. Goens -- Mary A. Goens, 56, a lifelong New Mexican, died Thursday, June 7, 2001. She is survived by her sons, Vincent Goens and Jesse Goens, both of Albuquerque; daughter, Kimberly Goens of Los Lunas; 2 grandchildren, Alex Morales and Kristen Goens; sisters, her identical twin, Margaret Vanderheide and husband, Bill and Roseanne Flores and husband, Ernest; and nieces and nephews. Mary was a loving mother and grandmother and will be missed deeply by all who knew her. She was an assistant manager at the deli at the new Sandia Casino. It was her wish to be cremated and memorial services will be held Tuesday, June 12, 2001, 10:00 a.m., at Sandia Baptist Church, 9429 Constitution NE, with Rev. Mike Linville officiating.

Hall -- Shirley Jean Chandler Hall 1939-2001 Shirley was born June 6, 1939 in Casper Wyoming to the parents of Arthur Eugene and Adele Mabel Chandler, both of whom preceded her in death. Shirley graduated from Natrona County High School in Casper, WY in 1957. she was a flag twirler with the ANCHS Marching Band. She was also a member of T.O.P.S. social organization, member of Radio Guild, Future Secretaries and Future Professionals. She loved singing, dancing, and was a member of Pep Rally. She attended the University of New Mexico at Albuquerque and was a representative to the student Senate from her dormitory, Hokona Hall. She was also a member of Rally Com and a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority. In 1959, she married Melville H. Hall and resided in Albuquerque until 1967 when they moved to Denver, CO. She was a homemaker and then an executive secretary for the Martin Marietta Corporation. She also worked as a receptionist at Denver area hair salons. She passed away after an 11-month battle with Lung Cancer at the Hospice of Metro Denver on May 12, 2001. A Memorial Service was held on May 15, 2001 at the Ivy Chapel on the grounds of Fairmount Cemetery in Denver, CO. Her remains were cremated and will be buried in the Casper Cemetery along with her parents. Her former husband, Melville H. Hall; and her half-sister, Thelma King also preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Ann hall of Littleton, CO; son, Mark Chandler Hall, his wife, Denise Hall of Parker, CO; brother, Eugene Chandler of Renton, WA, and his wife, Barbara; nieces, Tiffany Sanders and her husband, Steve of Woodinville, WA; Bonnie Chandler, of Renton, WA; Carol Coltrane, Casper, WY; Lee King, of California; former in-laws, John e. Harris -- Charles J. Harris, 78, a resident of Albuquerque since 1948, loving, warm and caring husband, father, grandfather and friend, died Thursday, June 7, 2001. He is survived by his wife, Joann Harris; sons, David Harris and wife, Linda, all of Albuquerque and John Harris and wife, Fay of Chama; sister, Berniece Davis and husband, Ken of Naples, FL; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends. Charles was a graduate of Purdue University where he was a member of Pi Kappa Phi and he played varsity football. He was a member of Hoffmantown Church and Kiwanis. Charles was a longtime volunteer of New Mexico Museum of Natural History and former board member of Heights YMCA. He was a retired Engineer from the New Mexico State Highway Department. Charles enjoyed traveling, Lobo basketball and volunteer work in his retirement. Henbest -- Dr. Dean Henbest, 80, of Rio Rancho, went home to be with the Lord on June 8, 2001 following a brief illness. He was a long-time New Mexico resident and had lived in Rio Rancho for the past 10 years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Rio Rancho, where he served as a greeter and as an inactive deacon. At the time of his death, he worked both with the Read West Literacy Program and part-time with City of Vision Eye Care. Dr. Henbest was born in Fayetteville, Arkansas in 1920, to his parents, Gus and Edna Henbest. Following completion of his high school education, he attended The University of Arkansas and John Brown University, prior to joining the US Army at the onset of World War II. He had developed a love for aviation in those younger years, and he was able to continue his passion for flying as an instructor pilot during the war. He attained the rank of Captain while on active duty, and later received from the Air Force Reserves with the rank of Major. When the war ended, he entered Southern College of Optometry, in Memphis, Tennessee, from which he graduated as a Doctor of Optometry. He practiced in El Reno, Oklahoma and in Gallup before moving his practice to Taos in 1959. He was active in the New Mexico Optometric Association and had served that organization as President and as a member of its Board of Examiners. Dr. Henbest possessed a wide variety of interests and talents. He was an avid outdoorsman and an accomplished artist and author, but he as consummate teacher, as well. He understood the importance of helping others realize their own potential, and his interest and enthusiasm in helping them develop their own abilities - so that they, in turn, could help others to do so - were widely felt. Underlying all his activities and relationships throughout his life were the honesty and personal integrity he expected in himself and valued so highly in others. These, too, will be missed by all who knew him. Dr. Henbest is survived by his wife of 40 years, Peggy Henbest; their daughter, D'Shon McCarty of Phoenix, AZ, as well as by his sister, Theda Dennington, of Lewisville, AR, and his two sons, Dr. Phil Henbest of Denver, CO and David Henbest, of Little Rock, AR. He is also survived by seven grandchildren: Shemiah, Shaianne, Shaylyn, and Sharmayne McCarty, of Phoenix, Heath and Glen Henbest of Denver and Jonathan Henbest of Adairville, KY. Memorial Services will be at the First Baptist Church of Rio Rancho at 10:00 a.m. on June 11, 2001, 3906 19th Avenue, SE. Johnson -- Melvin C. Johnson, 89, a resident of Albuquerque, died on Thursday, June 7, 2001. He was the son of Morwegian pioneers Olaf and Minnie Johnson born in Genoa, CO on November 23, 2001. Miera -- Asciso Bernardo Miera, passed away June 5, 2001. Ascisco was born November 5, 1922. A World War II Veteran and he served in the European Theater. He is survived by two sisters, Faye and Rosalie; one brother, Phillip; two daughters, Pat and Gloria; and a son, John; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Mitchell -- Billy Ray Mitchell passed away after a short illness May 25, 2001. Bill served his country numerous times, first in the Navy and then the Army. Bill was also an Albuquerque Police Officer, enlisting 2-1-65 and retiring 3-30-84. He was assigned to patrol detective, photographer and the bomb squad. Billy Ray was born in Oak Forest, AR on April 28, 1931 and although he lived in New Mexico most of his life his love for the south ran deep. His love for the blues, Southern fried catfish, fishing and playing his trumpet will always be remembered. Bill returned back to the South buying his dream home on a lake. Billy is survived by his children, daughter, Darlene Alvardo; and granddaughters, Brianne and Victoria; son, Kenneth Mitchell and wife, Jill; grandchildren, Heather, Michael and Brian; son, Gerald Mitchell and wife, Corinne; grandchildren, Crystal, Gerald, Matthew and Melissa; youngest son, Jeffrey Mitchell. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Alene Mitchell; nephews, James and Chuck Mitchell; nieces, Gloria, Sherri and Katie. Billy Ray will be honored with a Memorial Mass at St. Thomas of Aquinas June 11, 2001, 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery in Moriarty. The children of Bill would like to thank the APD for their help especially John Kynor, Jinxie Jones, Steve Devoti, Marybeth Vigil, Sgt. Sanchez and the APD Honor Guard, also Tommy and Sylvia Degrano.

Moya -- 1954-2001. Ramon Moya, also lovingly known as 'Uncs", 47, a resident of Peralta, passed away on Thursday June 7, 2001. A Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Sunday, June 10, 2001 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Peralta with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. led by his aunt, Nora Moya. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday June 11, 2001 at 10:00 a.m. also at Our Lady of Guadalupe with Father Albert Gallegos officiating. Burial will follow in the Peralta Cemetery. Nebus -- Frank W. Nebus, Sr., 61, a resident of Rio Rancho died, Friday, June 8, 2001. He is survived by his wife, Ann Nebus of Rio Rancho; daughter, Maria Fayard and husband, Bob of North Glenn, CO; son, Frank Nebus, Jr. and wife, Carolyn Kim of Rio Rancho; and grandchildren, Randy and Sean Nebus and Conner Fayard. He retired from Jersey Central Power and Light Nuclear Company after 36 years and moved to Rio Rancho 2 years ago. Frank has been employed at Intel for the last year where he was a Manufacturing Technician for Fab 11. He was an Air Force Veteran and a member of the Knights of Columbus in New Jersey. Neely -- Kathryn Barlow Neely, 77, died Tuesday, June 5, 2001 after a brief illness. She was the widow of Col. Harold B. Neely to whom she was married for 50 years. She is survived by her brother, Charles C. Barlow; her son, Harold R. Neely and her two grandchildren, Harold Roderick Neely and Susan E. Neely. Kathryn had many interests and talents but her great love was gardening. She was a longtime member and twice president of the Uptown Garden Club as well as a charter member of the Albuquerque Master Gardeners and a Master Flower Show Judge. She was also an active member of the Albuquerque Daylily Society, the Council of Albuquerque Garden Clubs, a charter member of the Tokyo Chapter of Ikebana International, as well as a mentor to many young gardeners. Her own garden has served as a place of inspiration and quiet tranquility for her family and many friends. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, June 11, 2001, 9:00 a.m. at French Mortuary, Wyoming Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd N.E.

Reneau -- Esther C. Reneau, 92, a resident of Albuquerque for 29 years, died Thursday, June 7, 2001. She is survived by her sons, Robert Reneau and wife, Dottie of Boone, NC and Jack Reneau of Albuquerque; granddaughters, Cynthia Reneau of Oklahoma City, OK and Karen Wood and husband, Randy of Payson, AZ; grandsons, Major Robert Reneau and wife, Mysti of US Air Force, England and Captain Rick Reneau and wife, Theresa of San Antonio, TX; great-grandchildren, Erin, Bridgette, Kyle, Dylan, Beau, Haley, Mariah, Jake and twin boys due in June; and brother, Homer E. Mrs. Reneau dedicated her life to serving our Lord as a social worker, mother, and grandmother and as a loving minister's wife. She was known for her humorous book reviews and stories in churches throughout New Mexico and Oklahoma. Mrs. Reneau led many Sunday school classes and gave generously of her gifts and graces. Romero -- Luciano Romero, 90, a long time resident of Belen, passed away on Saturday, June 9, 2001 after a long illness. Born in Las Nutrias, NM to Julian and Cornelia Romero on December 27, 1910. He was a member of the Catholic Church. He retired from the State Highway Department and was a well known area farmer and rancher in Valencia County for many years. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 56 years, Amalia in 1989. Luciano is survived by his loving daughter, Criselda Garley and her husband, Clifford of Los Lunas; four grandchildren; Kenneth of Santa Fe; Kevin and his wife, Katrina of Valencia; Karol of Portales; and Kimberly of Belize, Central America; two great grandsons: Blaine and Dustin of Los Lunas; one brother, Amadeo Romero and his wife, Margie; three sisters, Frances"Kika" Sanchez; Cipri Padilla and her husband, Adam; and Fela Duran, all of Albuquerque; and one sister-in-law, Adelica Esquibel of Barstow, CA. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Sanderson -- Everett G. Sanderson Capt. USN Ret., age 87, and a resident of Albuquerque for over 40 years died Saturday, June 9, 2001 in a local hospital following an illness. Capt. Sanderson is survived by one daughter, Missy Kiely and her husband, Bill of Albuquerque; one son, James E. Sanderson and his wife, Jo Anne of NC; two grandchildren, Erin Pearson of Albuquerque, and Erica Davis of Las Vegas, NV; and one great-grandchild, Madeline Pearson. After his graduation from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1936 Capt. Sanderson served 28 years including World War II, Korea, and Vietnam. He was awarded the Legion of Merit, two Bronze Stars, and a Commendation Medal, all for combat, plus eight area and campaign medals. Most of his sea duty was spent on destroyers. Capt. Sanderson took part in the invasion Sicily and the invasion Normandy on D-Day, the bombardment of Cherbourg. He also participated in the invasion of Luzon, Iwo Jima, and Okinawa and the first shore bombardment of Japanese homeland. In 1952 he was transferred to the Armed Forces Special Weapons project at Sandia Base. In 1956 he became the Commander Escort Squadron II in Pearl Harbor. In 1957 he was transferred back to the Special Weapons Project. In 1960 he was the C.O.N.A.D. Earl, NJ, and in 1963 the C.O. Service School Command, Great Lakes. After his retirement in 1965 he taught mathematics at St. Mary's School, Cleveland Junior High, and Sandia Prep School for 16 years. He also set up and directed the NJROTC unit at Santa Fe High School, and for a short time taught at St. Charles and Our Lady of Fatima Schools. A viewing and visitation will be held Tuesday, June 12, 2001 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Strong-Thorne Mortuary. Service arrangements will be announced by Strong-Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Coal Ave. SE.

Stansberry -- Russell E. Stansberry, age 92, passed away on Thursday, June 7, 2001. He and his wife, Betty, are long time residents of Albuquerque, and members of St. Johns Methodist Church. In addition to Betty, his beloved wife of 62 years, Mr. Stansberry is survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Cremation has taken place, and no services are planned. Tapp -- Lillian Genevieve Boydston Tapp, died Friday, June 8, 2001. She was born on April 5, 1911 in Memphis Tennessee, and married Millard B. Tapp on July 3, 1931. Lillian moved to Albuquerque in September of 1982 to be near her son and his family after the death of her husband in 1973. She was a devout Southern Baptist, and was a member and servant of Highland Heights Baptist Church in Memphis (39 years) and at her death, First Baptist Church of Alameda in Albuquerque. She was a member of a Bible study group at the Albuquerque Meadows and taught many of the weekly lessons. She is survived by her son, Charles M. Tapp and wife, Frances of Albuquerque; daughter, Barbara Jeanne Inabnit and husband, Merl of Snellville, GA; grandchildren, Charlene Roxane Tapp Gelband and husband, Mark of Overland Park, KS; Barbara Frances Tapp and David Charles Tapp of Albuquerque; Sherrie Michelle Joiner and husband, Gene, Sheila Tiffany Hitchcock and husband, Robert, Shonda Trea MacFadyen and husband, Brian and Shanna Shea Elsberry and husband, Jason all of the Atlanta, GA area. Lillian is also survived by her six great-grandchildren. A service will be held on Monday, June 11, 2001, 11:00a.m. at French Mortuary, Wyoming Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd N.E. Trujillo -- Fabian "Fly" Trujillo, logged his last trip down the Highway to Heaven on June 7, 2001. His last days were spent at his home in Moriarty, New Mexico. He was preceded in death by his father, Jose Abe Trujillo, mother, Flora Trujillo, two brothers, Val Tafoya and Gregorio Trujillo. He is survived by his wife, Liz Trujillo; daughters, Victoria Garcia and Amanda Trujillo; son, James Trujillo and his grandson, Carlos Garcia; brother, Paul Trujillo and wife, Betty; sisters, Francis Mora and husband, Alex, and Lala Garcia; numerous nieces and nephews. He was blessed by his in-laws, Mr. and Mrs. Dick Griswold and Gayle, Mr. and Mrs. Mickey Malone and family. He will be missed by a multitude of friends. At the time of his diagnosis with brain cancer he was employed by Waycor as a mixer driver. His spare time was spent country western dancing, cooking, yard work and as a "shade tree" mechanic. He was a very outgoing people person with a great sense of humor which he maintained throughout his illness. Pallbearers will be his nephews Johnny, Tommy and Freddie Trujillo, Morris and Freddie Mora and his best friend, Terry Piloni. Winder -- Louise W. Winder, 78, passed away June 1, 2001. She was born Norma Louise Wilson, October 5, 1922 in Harper, Kansas to James Spencer and Bessie Myrna Wilson. In 1947, while serving with the Civil Service, she met and soon married Norman G. Winder. The family moved to Albuquerque in 1963 at which time Louise began a career as an Insurance Agent. She retired from the Insurance business in the early 1980's. Mrs. Winder is preceded in death by her husband, Norman, in 1975. She is survived by her daughters, Kathy Baldonado, Kay L. Reed and her husband, James (Andy); grandchildren, Melissa Jiron and her husband, Michael, Michael Baldonado, William and Rose Neufeld; sister, Luella Ardrey and her husband, Ralph; sister-in-law, Nell Winder of TN; Aunt Ethel Wilson; Uncle Forrest Anderson, both of OR; 12 nieces and nephews; 16 great-nieces and nephews; two great-great-nieces; and numerous cousins. Wyrick -- Edith R. Wyrick, age 93, passed away June 6, 2001 in Albuquerque. She was born October 20, 1907 in Texas. Edith was preceded in death by one son, Sonny Boy. Zambrano -- Lucille Zambrano died at home in her sleep on Sunday, May 27, 2001. She had experienced an extended period of illness from Parkinson's disease and a serious stroke in 1997. Born in Los Angeles, California in 1924, she lived in Los Angeles until moving with her late husband, Gilbert Zambrano, to Albuquerque in 1993. In Los Angeles, Lucille sang in the church at St. Albuquerque Catholic Church for 40 years. She worked at the Los Angeles Times until her retirement in 1980. She is survived by Dolly Smith, her only child; her son-in-law, Steven Smith, and her grandchildren, Ryan and Todd Smith, all living in Albuquerque. Local memorial services will be held Saturday, June 16, 7:30 p.m. at John 23rd Catholic Community, Manitoba and Tramway. Rosary is at Moritz Mortuary in Montebello, CA at 7:00 p.m., June 29th. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Los Angeles at 9:00 a.m., June 30th. Graveside services immediately following at Calvary Cemetery. Lucille was a wonderful and caring wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She will be sorely missed by the many who had the privilege of knowing her.
