Obituary for Trujillo

Fabian "Fly" Trujillo, logged his last trip down the Highway to Heaven on June 7, 2001. His last days were spent at his home in Moriarty, New Mexico. He was preceded in death by his father, Jose Abe Trujillo, mother, Flora Trujillo, two brothers, Val Tafoya and Gregorio Trujillo. He is survived by his wife, Liz Trujillo; daughters, Victoria Garcia and Amanda Trujillo; son, James Trujillo and his grandson, Carlos Garcia; brother, Paul Trujillo and wife, Betty; sisters, Francis Mora and husband, Alex, and Lala Garcia; numerous nieces and nephews. He was blessed by his in-laws, Mr. and Mrs. Dick Griswold and Gayle, Mr. and Mrs. Mickey Malone and family. He will be missed by a multitude of friends. At the time of his diagnosis with brain cancer he was employed by Waycor as a mixer driver. His spare time was spent country western dancing, cooking, yard work and as a "shade tree" mechanic. He was a very outgoing people person with a great sense of humor which he maintained throughout his illness. Pallbearers will be his nephews Johnny, Tommy and Freddie Trujillo, Morris and Freddie Mora and his best friend, Terry Piloni. A Rosary will be recited Sunday, June 10, 201 at 7:00 p.m. and a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, June 11, 2001 at 10:00 a.m. both at St. Therese Catholic Church, 300 Mildred NW in Albuquerque. Burial will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Arrangements by Direct Funeral Services, 2919 4th NW, Albuquerque. 343-8008
