Baca -- William F."Gordy" Baca. Billy entered the world on November 13, 1944. Born to Ramon and Rose Baca of Llanito, Billy was a well-known proprietor of the El Pueblo Bar in Llanito for many years. He honorably served his country in Vietnam, and upon his return, entered the family business. Never married, he most enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas, playing his guitar, and the company of a small group of friends. Preceded in death by his beloved parents, Billy is survived by sisters, Agnes CdeBaca and husband, Armando of Denver, Lena Ruiz of Albuquerque, Loretta Peralta of LaCrescenta, CA; brother, Raymond Baca and wife, Betty of El Dorado Hills, CA, Lester and Tillie Montgomery and Alfred and Emma Barboa; numerous neices, nephews and cousins. Billy is also survived by lifelong friends, Julio Lujan and Leroy"Pollo" Baca. Billy left this world and joined his beloved parents on September 21, and cremation has taken place. Private services will be held per Billy's request. Direct cremation is in charge of arrangements.

Crotzer -- Robert L. Crotzer, Sr. (SWSC USNR-Ret) of Albuquerque and Edgewood, passed away on September 21, 2000, after an extended illness. He was born in Johnstown, PA on March 3, 1929, and attended Franklin High School. He is preceded in death by his parents, William F. Crotzer, Sr. and Ruth Marie Pfeiffer. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Cecelia Agnes Kist; and five children, Catherine A. Fitzgerald and husband, John, Robert L. Crotzer, Jr., Laura J. Putz and husband, Bill, Richard Crotzer and wife, Brenda, all of Albuquerque, and Ronald Crotzer and wife, Laura of Los Alamos. He shared his love and knowledge with his ten grandchildren, Richard and Patrick Brooks, Erin and Amber Fitzgerald, Billy and Katie Putz, Thomas and Catherine Crotzer, and Matthew and William Milligan. He is also survived by a sister, Jane Wyrwas of Conemaugh, PA; and brother, William and wife, Catherine of Johnstown, PA; and many, many nieces and nephews. He served in the Navy during World War II and was aboard the aircraft carrier USS Randolph during the Korean Conflict. He continued his military service as a SeaBee Naval Reservist, achieving the rank of Senior Chief Petty Officer. He served proudly as a member of RNMBC 22, Det. 0322 and retired from military service in 1989. In addition, Bob retired from Sandia National Laboratories in 1991 after 28 years, where he worked in the machine shop as a master machinist and instructor in the apprenticeship program. Bob dedicated his life to honor men and women who defended this great nation. He was a life member of American Legion Post #49, and had served the organization in many capacities, including National Executive Committeeman, Department Commander, Department Baseball Chairman, Boys State Counselor and Veterans Affairs Representative. He was instrumental in the formation of the United Veterans Council of Greater Albuquerque and served as the president for many years and played a vital role in the establishment of the New Mexico Veterans Memorial Park. He was a member of the International Aerospace Workers and Machinist Union, fulfilling many roles within the union, including President; a Lifetime member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9354, Mesa Lodge No. 68 AF&AM, where he attained the level of 32nd degree Mason; Little League Baseball; Boy Scouts of America; Fleet Reserve Association Branch No. 200 and 8 et 40 Voiture #1534. His family wishes to thank Dr. Brown, Dr. Poliner, Dr. West and Dr. Tarnower for their contributions to the care of their beloved husband and father during his illness. The professionals at Lovelace are truly appreciated, with a special thanks to the Emergency Room Staff. His love, laughter, spirit and devotion will be missed. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Lung Association, Camp Superkids Fund. Dowler -- Rachel Nicole Dowler, 28, passed away Wednesday, September 20, 2000 in San Diego, California, following a lengthy illness. She is survived by her mother and step-father, Barbara and Kurt Lohbeck; father, Lawrence Dowler of Guilford, CN; beloved brother, Albert Narath; grandparents, Clifford and Mildred Dowler; uncles and cousins. Dunaway -- Robert Ellison, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Monday, September 18, 2000. He was born in Brooklyn, New York, December 8, 1946. Robert, the beloved son of Sara and Eugene Dunaway III, residing in Tallahassee, Florida, is also survived by his loving son, Eugene P. Dunaway, IV; and brother, Cliff Dunaway; and sister, Debra Dunaway Taube, both of Florida. A private family memorial will be held in St. Teresa, Florida. Eyer -- Elsie Winona Burgett Eyer died September 20th in Albuquerque after a long illness. She was born in Floydada, TX on November 21, 1917 and moved to Clovis in 1921, where she lived until moving to Albuquerque in 1998. She is survived by her four children, Harold Eyer and wife, Clair of Albuquerque, Eddie Eyer and wife, Phyllis of Albuquerque, Mike Eyer and wife, Lorraine of Glendale, AZ and Marcie Weiler and husband, Bill of Thornton, CO; seven grandchildren, Tamara Eyer Beal, Jaime Eyer, Nicole Eyer Sieglitz, Kendra Eyer Boone, Nathan Eyer, Jonathan Eyer and Christine Weiler; three great-grandchildren, Cody Beal, Joshua Sieglitz, and Kennedy Boone; and a brother-in-law, Phillip Eyer and wife, Juanita of Albuquerque. The family especially wishes to thank the staff of Care Free Living, 10916 Juan Tabo Pl., in Albuquerque, and Kaseman Presbyterian Hospice for making her last months comfortable. A memorial service will be held at the First Christian Church, 1700 Main St., Clovis, at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 26, 2000. There will be a reception for family and friends after the service. Greeson -- Col. Eugene E. Greeson, resident of New Mexico since 1942, died Friday night, September 15, of the complications of old age after a long and meaningful life. He was born April 7, 1914, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, to Lewyl E. Greeson and Judith Irene Burgess. He was raised in and around Birmingham, then, as a young man moved with his family to Arlington, Virginia, where he attended business school and worked as a private secretary to a congressional lobbyist. In the aftermath of the Depression, he saw a military career as a way to extend his education: After first serving in the Navy, he joined the Army Air Corps Cadet Program. During World War II, he was stationed in the Philippines as part of the highly decorated 19th Bombardment Squadron. In 1942, he was posted to Clovis Air Force Base. It was there, in 1944, that he met and married Elizabeth A. Manson, daughter of Edward L. Manson and Alice Mattingly. Thereafter, he left active service, but continued in the Air Force Reserve while beginning a long career working for the U.S. Federal District Court, first as Court Reporter, then as Deputy Clerk and, from 1966 until retirement in 1973, as Clerk of the Court, under the tenures of Judges Hatch, Mechem and Bratton. In retirement, he was active in the Serra Club of Albuquerque. After his wife's death in 1987, he renewed his interest in travel, visiting family and friends in Canada, Germany, and throughout the U.S., and playing golf on courses as far afield as Hawaii and Scotland. The great disappointment of his last years was having to give up golf due to deteriorating eyesight and muscular coordination. He couldn't pass up reading anything fit to print, but was partial to history and politics and particularly enjoyed crime fiction and westerns. At his wife's instigation, he played duplicate bridge, but felt a lot more at home with poker. Throughout his life he was a enthusiast of hunting and fishing, and those activities along with golf and poker formed the basis of many of his friendships. He spent his happiest times in the companionship of family and close friends, sharing a fine meal and good wine. One of those friends described him a true gentleman, reflected throughout his life in his values and his quiet, modest demeanor. Gene is survived by his daughter, Judith and son-in-law, Rolf Mirus, and his grandsons, Benjamin and Justin Mirus of Edmonton, Canada, as well as his brother, Lewyl Greeson of Arlington, Virginia. The family is grateful for all the care and support given him by extended family, especially his niece, Sheryl Evans, by close friends and neighbors, and by the staff of SunBridge Mission Manor and Sandia Hospice and by Dr. David Ewing. A memorial mass will be celebrated on Saturday, September 23, 11:00 a.m., at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 7500 Paseo Del Norte NE. Strong Thorne Mortuary is in charge of the arrangements. Hofinger -- Emil Lee Hofinger, 67, a resident of Albuquerque since 1967, died Friday, September 22, 2000. She is survived by her husband, Ludwig A. Hofinger of the family home; daughters, Susie Sanchez and husband, Gilbert of Albuquerque, Jenny Price of Denver, CO, Elisabeth Hibdon of Bosque Farms, Diedre Hofinger of Albuquerque; five grandchildren, Frank Sanchez and wife, K'Ann, Angela Sanchez, Stephen Sanchez, Kevin Hibdon, and Ryan Hibdon; great-grandson, Tyler Sanchez; and sister, Julia Broman and husband, Charles of Dickenson, TX. Emil Lee graduated from St. Mary's Hospital School of Nursing in 1953 in Kansas City, MO. She was a lifelong member of the Catholic Church. She enjoyed cooking and gardening. Kittredge -- Charles D. Kittredge, 53, a resident of Rio Rancho, passed away on Thursday, September 21, 2000. Charles was born on January 21, 1947 the son of Russell M. and Florence Davis Kittredge in Ellsworth, Maine. He graduated from Ellsworth Maine High School in 1965, Maine Central Institute in Pittsfield, Maine in 1966, and also from the Bentley College of Accounting and Finance in Waltham, Massachusetts. Charles had worked for the Scott Paper Co. Winslow, ME, Irving Tanning Co. in Hartland, ME, Brunswick Co. in Torrington, CT, American Tel Group, Albuquerque, NM, and Highway Supply, Albuquerque, NM. He was a member of the Institute of Management Accountants. he was a sports fan, a nature enthusiast, and loved to work in his garden. Charles was married to Donna Bodman on September 18, 1971 in Waterville, Maine. He is preceded in death by his father, Russell in 1989. Charles is survived by his wife, Donna of Rio Rancho; two daughters, Jill and Suzanne Kittredge of Albuquerque; mother, Florence Kittredge of Tucson, AZ; one brother, Dr. John Kittredge of Tucson, AZ; two grandchildren, Charles Russell Sherwood and Jacob Alan Sherwood; aunts, Rita D. Welch of Hancock, ME; Anne G. Huggins of Bucksport, ME, Sylvia D. Pierce of N. Stonington, CT, and Elsie Davis of Ellsworth, ME; nine nieces and nephews; and numerous cousins. The Service for Charles will be held on Monday, September 25, 2000 at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Vista Verde Mortuary, Sara Rd. at Meadowlark Ln., Rio Rancho. Lambert -- Mrs. Angie C. Lambert, 78, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on September 22, 2000. Lewis -- Laura Louise Lewis, almost 82, passed away Wednesday, September 20, 2000 at Casa Maria Alzheimer's Center in Albuquerque. Her husband, Sgt. Claude J. Lewis, preceded her in death 11 years ago. Their sons, Albert, and Gerry with wife, Ruth Anne, and grandchildren, Corrina and Robert, and little Chantal, mourn their loss. Mrs. Lewis made her home with her sister, LaClede Rice and husband, Donald since April, 1990. They were her guardians living in Rio Rancho; seven great-nieces and nephews; five sisters-in-law and many friends remember Mrs. Lewis' hospitality. She was a member of the Community Christian Church in Rio Rancho since 1990. The family will gather for a graveside service in the Veteran's section of Desert Lawn Cemetery in Rivera, AZ, on Wednesday, October 11, 2000, at 2:00 p.m. French Mortuary-Westside, 9300 Golf Course Rd. Lotosky -- Walter Lotosky, 78, passed away September 21, 2000. He was born in Jersey City, NJ, on September 8, 1922 to parents who immigrated from the Ukraine. He served in the US Army during World War II and worked for the Federal Government as a computer analyst in the Washington, D.C. area until his retirement in 1978. In 1979, Mr. Lotosky and his wife, Polly, moved to Daytona Beach, FL to be closer to her family. Then, following her death, he moved to Albuquerque to be near his daughter. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Polly in 1998. He is survived by his daughter, Joan Elizabeth Lotosky and her husband, John Bucholz of Albuquerque; six brothers, Andrew, Steve, Mike, Myron, Ed, and Al, all of New Jersey. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, September 25, 2000, at Strong-Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Coal Ave SE. Marland -- Dr. Charles E. Marland, 87, a resident of Albuquerque since 1978, died Wednesday, September 20, 2000. He is survived by his wife, Thelma Marland of Albuquerque; son, Ronald Marland of Los Gatos, CA; daughters, Mary Matheson and husband, Len of Wildwood, MO and Debbie Wilkinson and husband, Dr. Frank Wilkinson of Mission Viejo, CA; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Dr. Marland was preceded in death by one sister; and one son, Bill. Lt. Colonel Marland was a WWII Army Veteran and served in the Chief Staff under the direction of General Douglas McArthur. Dr. Marland was a member of Central Seventh Day Adventist Church. He resided in California for many years and had his own successful investment business. Miller -- Miles Paul Miller passed from this life on September 22, 2000, following a prolonged illness. Born March 18, 1938 in Des Moines, Iowa, Paul was raised in Iowa and came to Albuquerque in 1965. For many years Paul worked as a Physician's Assistant to Dr. John (Jack) Fitzpatrick and Dr. Christopher Merchant. Paul was preceded in death by his mother, Vera Orton Miller. Survivors include close friends, C. David Bedford and JoAnne Ramponi, and other friends. Cremation has taken place, and at Paul's request, no service will be held. Cremains remain at Fairview. Perea -- Dale (Fidel) Perea, a resident of San Ysidro, NM, passed away at the age of 83 at home on Thursday, September 21, 2000 after a short battle with cancer. He was born on May 4, 1917 in San Ysidro. In 1937, he moved to Los Angeles, where he met his beloved wife, Isabel and was married on August 6, 1938. While in Los Angeles, he worked as a landscaper for 31 years and returned in 1969 to New Mexico, where he worked for New Mexico Timber & Scholenberg in Bernalillo, where he retired and went to work part-time for the Village of San Ysidro. His hobbies included fishing and gardening. Surviving him is his wife, Isabel; six brothers, Phil Perea and wife, Juanita from California, Babe Perea and wife, Lajune from California, Leo Perea and wife, Mazy from California, Luther, Larry and Edwin Perea also from California; three sisters, Priscilla Martinez, Dolly Soliz and Esther Perea, all from California; one daughter, Olivia Cde Baca and husband, Ralph from San Ysidro; three grandchildren, Cindy Benavidez and husband, Brian from San Ysidro, Monica Cde Baca and boyfriend, Harry, Ralph Cde Baca, Jr. from San Ysidro; five great-grandchildren, Samantha Gonzales, Ernesto Cde Baca, Emilio Cde Baca, Brian Benavidez, Jr., and Sabryna Ramsey. A Rosary will be recited this evening, 7:00 p.m., at the San Ysidro Catholic Mission. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday morning, 10:00 a.m., at the San Ysidro Catholic Mission. Salas -- Leonor Salas, age 79, passed away on September 21, 2000 at home with her loving family at her side. She is survived by her children, Angie and husband, Albert Sisneros, Eliseo Padilla, Melba and husband, Bernie Rivera, Therese Padilla, Benny Salas and wife, Sandy, Anthony and Chema Salas, and Dolores Salas and husband, Rudy Martinez; grandchildren include Stephanie, Irene, Marvin, Steve, Annette, Suzanne, Joanne, Patrick, Lisa, Alexandria, Raymond, Ben, Jessica, Victor, Kim, Kristine and Julian. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren. Since 1977 until 1990, when she moved to Edgewood, Leonor was active in church activities and organizations such as the Sacred Heart League. Her devotion to her religious convictions kept her active in her church until her death. Our beloved mother and grandmother will continue in our thoughts until we meet again. Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. on September 23 and 24, at Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Mountainair. Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 a.m. on September 25. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Ina Saxton of Albuquerque; mother, Florence Saxton of Kearns, UT; son, Rick Saxton and wife, Mona of Rio Rancho; daughter, Diana Dann and husband, Steve of Rowlett, TX; grandchildren, David Turano of Lubbock, TX, Melissa Turano of Garland, TX, Lauren Turano of Rowlett, TX, and Christina Bava and husband, Jon of Tucson, AZ; step-grandchildren, Christina Mahana and Michael Mahana, both of Rio Rancho, Joshua Dann of Plano, TX and Cassandra Dann of Rowlett, TX; great-grandchildren, Taylor Turano of Garland, TX, Alicya Hernandez and Gabrielle Hernandez, both of Rowlett, TX; sisters, Wilma Bugger of Kearns, UT, Utahana Robinson of Coalville, UT and Emily Goehring of Salt Lake, UT; and brother, Dewey Saxton of Oakley, UT. Mr. Saxton retired from Sandia Labs in 1985. He was a member of the Amateur Radio Community. Mr. Saxton was a musician and he played in several bands in Albuquerque and surrounding areas. He was a volunteer with the American Red Cross and was named as Disaster Volunteer of the Year for 1989-1990. Mr. Saxton was a US Navy veteran of WWII. Thorp -- Roger Walker Thorp, 64, and longtime resident of Albuquerque, died on September 21, 2000. He was born in Hackensack, NJ and graduated from Highland High School in Albuquerque and the University of New Mexico, where he played golf. Mr. Thorp retired from Sandia National Labs in October 1995. He loved skeet shooting and spent many hours at the skeet shooting range. He was preceded in death by a son, Scott Thorp in 1997; and his sister, Patricia Reich. Mr. Thorpe is survived by his wife of 32 years, Anita A. Thorp of Albuquerque; son, Roger Steven Thorp of Los Lunas, NM; three step-children, Sheila Byrne and husband, Tom of Lees Summit, MO, Gregg Middaugh and Ann Preece, both of Albuquerque; and a brother, David P. Thorp of Eatontown, NJ. Pallbearers are Gregg Middaugh, Tom Hamilton, Tom Byrne, Pat Nichols, William Rodriguez and Bill Swift. Weigner -- Adelaida"Lala" Vallejos Weigner, 48, formerly of Belen and Barstow, CA, and currently residing in Albuquerque, peacefully passed away on Saturday, September 23, 2000. She was a member of the Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her three sons, Patrick, Joseph, and Frankie Vallejos; and her parents, Filemon and Elvira Vallejos. Lala is survived by her husband of six years, Mark Weigner of Barstow, CA; one daughter, Rebecca Martinez and her husband, Gino; four grandchildren, Frances, Jasmine, Gabriel, and Selena; two brothers, Michael and Patrick Vallejos, both of Barstow, CA; six sisters, Dulce Vallejos, Lourdes Larson and her husband, Bud, Mary Vallejos, Cecila and her husband, Margaret Mountain and her husband, David, and Andrea Vallejos, all from Barstow, CA. She is also survived by her many loving nieces and nephews. White -- Harriet L. U. White, 79, a resident of Albuquerque since 1947, passed away September 21, 2000 after battling lung cancer for a year. Surviving is a sister, Susan U. Spaulding of Washington, DC; a brother, William A. Urban of Manchester, WA; five children, (Landra, Andy, Carl, Bill and Tomas); nine grandchildren, (Jessica, Jonathan, Ruth Ashley, Sandra, Chris, Ross, Clare, Rosemary and John Thomas); and one great-grandson, (Joseph Jonathan). She had many close friends at Jemez Pueblo, where she was considered a family member. Harriet was remarkable, with an inexhaustible amount of energy and an unquenchable desire to learn about people of different cultures. During WWII, she was a pilot and flight instructor in the Women's Air Service Pilots (WASPs) and married fellow pilot Chester A. White. Over the years, she was active in the Junior League of Albuquerque, the League of Women Voters, UNM Kiva Club, Pan American Round Table, Highland Pen People, and the 99's (women pilots associations). She taught Spanish classes in her children's elementary schools, was coordinator of host families for Latin American students at UNM, and later had foreign student boarders in her home, forming lifelong friendships. Divorced in 1965, she obtained a degree in Teaching English as a Second Language, and subsequently taught at TVI, the former U. of Albuquerque, UNM, New Mexico State U., and the U. of Panama. Recently she made several trips to India, where she interviewed women in non-traditional fields; she was working on a book about those women and her experiences in the last year. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to: (1) Jemez Pueblo Scholarship Fund, (P.O.
