Salas -- Leonor Salas, age 79, passed away on September 21, 2000 at home with her loving family at her side. She is survived by her children, Angie and husband, Albert Sisneros, Eliseo Padilla, Melba and husband, Bernie Rivera, Therese Padilla, Benny Salas and wife, Sandy, Anthony and Chema Salas, and Dolores Salas and husband, Rudy Martinez; grandchildren include Stephanie, Irene, Marvin, Steve, Annette, Suzanne, Joanne, Patrick, Lisa, Alexandria, Raymond, Ben, Jessica, Victor, Kim, Kristine and Julian. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren. Since 1977 until 1990, when she moved to Edgewood, Leonor was active in church activities and organizations such as the Sacred Heart League. Her devotion to her religious convictions kept her active in her church until her death. Our beloved mother and grandmother will continue in our thoughts until we meet again. Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. on September 23 and 24, at Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Mountainair. Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 a.m. on September 25. Pallbearers will be Eliseo Padilla, Benny Salas, Anthony Salas, Albert Sisneros, Bernie Rivera, Rudy Martinez, Manuel Flores and Albert Bibiano.
