Anderson -- Elsie Lee Anderson, born November 2, 1928, in McNary, Arizona, passed away on April 7, 2000. She is survived by her pet dog, Maggie; daughters, Barbara Harper Marlowe and husband, Doug, of Tucson, AZ, Linda Olson and husband, Richard (Oley) of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Rebecca Marlowe, Jenny Marlowe, Scott Olson, and Kim Marlowe; sister, Shirlee Wilkins and husband, Dick of Stockton, CA; nephew, Rick Wilkins, wife, Val, and son, Steven. Elsie graduated from Albuquerque High School in 1946 and then attended UNM. She was Acoma Elementary School's first secretary and then worked for Sandia National Laboratories for 24 years, retiring in 1986. Elsie was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church. Her family will miss her love, kindness, humor, wisdom, strength, and support. She was always there for everyone who needed her with no questions asked. In lieu of flowers, Elsie requested donations be made to the Animal Humane Association, 615 Virginia SE, Albuquerque, NM 87108. A Memorial service will be held on April 10, 10:00 a.m., at the Kirtland Air Force Base Chapel, 1950 Second Street--enter through the Wyoming gate.

Anderson -- Rosemary"Rosie" Anderson, 75, a resident of Albuquerque for 37 years, passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2000. She is survived by her son, Buddy Anderson of Albuquerque; daughter, Heidi Lucas of Albuquerque; sister, Dorothy Palmer of Detroit, MI; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous friends and family. She was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Howard L. Anderson in 1991. She will be loved and missed by all. Services will be held Monday, 10:00 a.m., at Christ the Ray of Hope Lutheran Church, 7001 San Antonio Dr. NE, with Rev. Harold Johnson. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery, Santa Fe. Barela -- Adelaida Barela died Wednesday in Albuquerque at the age of 88. Adelaida was a member of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church. She is survived by her sisters, Lydia Barela and Margaret Barela; and several cousins. Chavez -- Lola Chavez, born September 23, 1921, passed away on Friday, April 7, 2000. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Maria Gallegos; and her brothers and sisters, Merced, Rafael, Rita and Erineo. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Louis Chavez Sr.; three sons, Louis Chavez Jr. and wife, Debbie of Farmington, Michael Chavez Sr. and wife, Charlene of Gallup, and Rafael Chavez and wife, Holly of Seattle, WA; and two daughters, Frances Hackney and husband, Jay Dee of Tampa, FL and Beatrice Gallegos and husband, Gilbert of Albuquerque. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Elvira Chavez, Rachel Blea and Vena Blea. She will be greatly missed. Services are pending and will be announced at a later date. Driggers -- Roy William Driggers, 74, joined his Lord on April 6, 2000. Mr. Driggers was a member of a prominent pioneer ranching family born at a stagecoach stop near Santa Rosa, NM on March 25, 1926. Roy is survived by his wife of 19 years, Bette Driggers; a brother, James R. Driggers Jr. of Albuquerque; three children, Michael of Houston TX, Douglas and Marcia of Las Cruces, and Sharron Diaz of Houston, TX; three nephews, James and Frank Butler of Albuquerque, and James R. Driggers III of Benson, AZ; two nieces, Emma Lemmons and Suzette Driggers of Albuquerque; and four grandchildren, Tiffany, Oliver, Elizabeth, and Jeffrey. Roy Driggers was preceded in death by his first wife, Ruby Mae Driggers. Roy Driggers is also survived by his wife's children, Kathy and Jim Brown of Albuquerque, Patty and Jim Burns of Albuquerque, Jane and Tom Taylor of Las Cruces, Joe and Lisa Minnehan of Farmington, Mary Ann and Chuck Aldrich of Canyon City, CO, and Martha and Danny Holder of Albuquerque; 14 grandchildren, Johnny, Lesa, Heather, Jennifer, David, Betsy, Annie Rose, Joseph, Allen, Nancy, Jackie, Kristie, Michelle, Brittany; and two great-grandchildren, Whitney and Colton. Roy Driggers honorably served his country in the Merchant Marines in World War II. After that, he returned to the family ranch, the Bar Y, in Santa Rosa, NM. In 1951, he joined the New Mexico State Police Department. He left the State Police as a Captain in 1964 and joined the Agency for International Development in Bogota, Colombia. He served in Nicaragua, Uruguay, Paraguay, and Guatemala. Mr. Driggers returned to his native New Mexico in 1975 and served as Assistant Director of the New Mexico Law Enforcement Academy in Santa Fe NM. He was under Sheriff in Bernalillo County under Sheriff James Jimmerson and later was appointed the 1st Sheriff of Cibola County by former Governor Bruce King. He then served three terms as Cibola County Sheriff before his retirement in 1988. A Rosary service was held at Fitzgerald and Sons Funeral Home at 7:00 pm on Friday, April 7, 2000. Funeral Services will be held at Saint Bernadette's Catholic Church, 11401 Indian School Road, at 9:00 am on Saturday, April 8, 2000. Herrera -- Mr. Abelino C. Herrera, 80, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on April 5, 2000. Mr. Herrera is survived by his three sons, Clarence Herrera, John Herrera and wife, Gloria and Robert David Herrera and wife, Susanne; one sister, Carol Herrera; three brothers, Eloy Herrera and wife, Lena, Mariano Herrera and wife, Reina and Ramon Herrera and wife, Grace; seven grandchildren, Donald, Matilda, Roseline, Michelle, Clyde, Jonathan and Patricia; many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Tillie Herrera, 1980. Mr. Herrera was a member of the Catholic Church, Veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in WWII, worked for Sandia Base and A.P.S. until his retirement in 1979, and was Board member of Westland Development Corporation. Herrera -- Ralph C. Herrera, age 80, a lifelong resident of New Mexico, died Thursday, April 6, 2000. He is survived by his wife, Ninfa Herrera of Albuquerque; daughter, Judy Tobias of Albuquerque; two sisters, Gloria Richards of Rio Rancho and Tessie Garcia of Santa Fe; brother, Tony Herrera of Santa Fe; three grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Herrera was a member of American Legion Post 13 and the V.F.W. He was a veteran of WWII and participated in the Invasion of the Beaches of Normandy on D-Day. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 9, 2000, from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Strong-Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Coal Ave. SE. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 9, 2000 in the Palm Chapel of Strong-Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Coal Ave. SE. Jimenez -- Jennie Jimenez, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, died peacefully on April 6, 2000. She was loved by all family and friends. She is survived by her husband, Jesus; her children, Annabelle Mora and husband, Edwin, Carol Dominguez, Thomas and wife, Maria, David and wife, Anna; and son, Mario; her grandchildren whom she loved dearly, Aubrey and Celina Jimenez, Sarah Dominguez, Marisa and Jaquelyn C De Baca, Edwin Mora Jr., Ariela, David and Carina Jimenez; and her very special Goddaughter, Gabriela Rodriguez. Koskey -- Janice E. (Jan) Koskey, beloved wife and mother, was called home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 1, 2000, while in the presence of God and her husband, Dr. Gene Koskey. After almost five years, her courageous battle with ovarian cancer was over. Janice was born in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin on April 10, 1937. She grew up in her place of birth and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech and Hearing from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She served as a speech and hearing therapist in Grand Rapids, Michigan; Bloomington, Indiana; and Brown Deer, Wisconsin public schools. Jan was a member and officer in Women Aglow International from 1978 to 1998, she was the first Aglow International State Prayer Coordinator for New Mexico and West Texas in which capacity she conducted various prayer functions and conferences all over New Mexico. In 1996, Jan and a companion drove the borders of the state, praying for the state and its gate cities. She was a powerful intercessor and prayer warrior for Jesus Christ. Her ministry touched countless lives in the State, the Nation, and the world. In 1999, Jan developed the UPPER ROOM World Prayer Center housed at Church on the Rock of Albuquerque. The UPPER ROOM is a multi-church intercessory prayer group whose members currently represent over 25 different churches in Albuquerque. Janice is survived by her husband, Dr. B. Eugene Koskey; and three children, Allyson Underwood and husband, Brian of Yorba Linda, CA, Brenda Koskey of El Segundo, CA and Christopher Koskey of Portland, OR. Other survivors are her mother, Gertrude Berg of Seminole, FL; her sister, Carol Wood and husband, Bill of Seminole, FL; her niece, Beth Marino, husband, George, and son, Tyler of Pulaski, VA; and her sister-in-law, Lois DuPont of Glendale, CA. Lindholm -- Glenn Theodore Lindholm, 72, a resident of Albuquerque for 13 years, died Tuesday afternoon, April 4, 2000, in the Presbyterian Coronary Care Unit. Glenn Theodore Lindholm, the son of Emil and Lily (Peterson) Lindholm, was born on April 28, 1927, in Ashland, WI, where he spent his childhood, graduated from high school and grew to adulthood. Mr. Lindholm married Marilyn Joanne Berg on July 7, 1951 in Ashland, WI. Prior to his retirement, in 1987, he was employed at the Los Alamos National Laboratory. Mr. Lindholm lived in Wisconsin and Los Alamos, before moving to Albuquerque, where he made his home until the time of his death. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Marilyn Joanne Lindholm of Albuquerque; two daughters, Nancy Jo Fortin and Erica Jan Hoverter; son, Peter Jay Lindholm; granddaughter, Hailey Jo Fortin, all of Albuquerque; three sisters, Genevieve Dvorak of Albuquerque, Alice Johnson and Shirley Wallace of Ashland, WI; and one brother, Larry Lindholm of Austin, TX. Mr. Lindholm was preceded in death by his parents and one sister. Mr. Lindholm was very dedicated to his family and was proud of his Scandinavian heritage. A memorial service to honor Mr. Lindholm's life is scheduled for Saturday, April 8, 2000, 2:00 p.m., at Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum Chapel, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE, with Dr. Russell C. Lee officiating. Cremation will take place and the cremains will be, at his request, inurned at a family ceremony at a future date. Moody -- Clark Moody, 65, a resident of Los Lunas, died Thursday, April 5, 2000. Mora -- Mr. Billy B. Mora died Friday in Albuquerque at the age of 60. Mr. Mora was a Paramedic Lieutenant and retired from the Albuquerque Fire Department after 23 years of service. He enjoyed fishing and hunting with his family. Mr. Mora was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Mora; brother, Juan Mora; and his mother and father, Lucy and Donicio Cordova. Pawlak -- Fred J. Pawlak, 64, a resident of Albuquerque for 30 years, died Friday, April 7, 2000. He is survived by his wife, Elaine Pawlak of the family home; daughters, Daun Dow of Albuquerque, Mary Page and husband, Bobby of Rio Rancho; son, Scott Pawlak of Albuquerque; grandsons, David Carriere and Kenny Woodham, both of Albuquerque, and Zachary Page of Rio Rancho; brother-in-law, John Lord and wife, Pat of Gordon, WI. He served in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Pawlak was a member of the Albuquerque Field Archers, NM Bow Hunters Association, Yucca Muzzle Loaders, NM Mountain Men, and the Zia Gun Club. He had worked for 19 years as a glazier for different glass companies in Albuquerque, retiring in 1998. He had also worked for several years at Movies 8. Taylor -- Georgeanna Taylor passed away April 3, 2000 in an Alice, Texas nursing home. She was 90. Mrs. Taylor was born June 19, 1909 in Tecumsey, Michigan to George and Lucy Page. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Freer. She was a former Cub Scout Den Mother, a member of the AARP, and the Triple L. Club. She was active in the nursing home ministry of the First Baptist Church in Freer, and the oldest member of the Purple Sage Square Dance Club in Freer. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Keller O. Brown in 1958 and by George W. Taylor in 1982; also by two daughters, Jeanette Harp and Lucy Brown; one son, George W. Brown Jr.; and one granddaughter, Georgeanna Howder. Survivors include one daughter, Nancy (Gerald) Black of Freer; one son, Leonard Austin (Linda) Brown of Escondido, CA; 14 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; and 32 great-great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, April 10, 2000 in Sunset memorial Park with Pastor Brian E. Davis, Ph.D. of Parkview Baptist Church officiating. Strong-Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Coal Ave. SE, in charge of arrangements.

Vleck -- Marcella Eunice Vleck, born August 23, 1916, passed away on April 4, 2000. She was a resident of Albuquerque for 46 years and retired from Sandia Laboratories. She played a very active role at the Albuquerque Garden Center and was honored with a Lifetime Master Gardener certification in 1998. She was a member of the Albuquerque Rose Society and Petal Pusher Garden Club. As editor of"The Garden Gate" and"Blue Ribbon" publications for several years, she took great pride in helping to spread her seeds of knowledge about gardening in New Mexico. She also spearheaded the volunteer Master Gardener's program at the Albuquerque City Library and you could find her there on most Saturday's answering questions. Her husband, James D'Arcy Vleck and grandson, James E. Vleck, preceded her in death. Her five children, Virginia Carraway, Robert Vleck, Marilee A. Lytle, Marguerite Ford and James Vleck survive her. She has six grandchildren, Jayme L. Lytle, William Ford, Sean Carraway, Ryan Carraway, Robert Vleck, Vanessa Vleck and Lawrence Vleck; and four great grandchildren, Ryan Lytle, Samantha Carraway, Zachary Carraway and Moses Vleck. A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, April 7, 2000, at the chapel of Mount Calvary Cemetery, 1900 Edith NE, in Albuquerque. In lieu of flowers please send memorial contributions to the Albuquerque Rose Society. She has gone before us to plant the garden and keep it well until our time comes to join her. Weber -- Janet R. (Jan) Weber, died April 4th, 2000. She is survived by her sons, Steve Weber with Becky Donich of Reno, Nevada, Gary Weber with wife, Ann and grandson, Kyle of Seattle, Washington; and daughter, Karen of Seattle. She is also survived by her brother, Ernie Baker and wife, Mary Ann of Spring Hill, Florida; sister, Judy and husband, Clyde of Greencastle, Indiana, sister Martha Jane Richardson of Monrovia California; and numerous nieces and nephews. Jan Weber was an outstanding, lifetime professional artist. She was a member of most professional artist organizations. Jan was an enthusiastic love of live, devoted to her family and her art, and will be sorely missed by her family and many friends.

Willmer -- Ruth M. Willmer, 84, of New Port Richey, Florida, passed away April 5, 2000. She was born in Chicago, Illinois and moved to Florida seven months ago from Albuquerque. Ruth was a homemaker and is survived by her sons, Kenneth of Addison, IL, Dennis and Gregory, both of New Port Richey, FL; daughter, LaVonne Husak of Hillside, IL; brother, Edward Baughn of Albuquerque; sister, Shirley Galetta of Park Ridge, IL; ten grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Woodworth -- John R."Woody" Woodworth, 69, a resident of Tijeras since 1972, died Thursday, April 6, 2000. He is survived by his wife, Nancy J. Woodworth of Tijeras; daughters Lisa McKenna and husband, Matthew of Albuquerque, Thalia Woodworth of Stamford, NE, and Diane L. Ball of Thoreau, NM; son, John R. Ball and wife, Pam of Edgewood, NM; grandchildren, Mackenzie Stout, Alison Stout and Trevor McKenna, all of Albuquerque, W. Nathan Tucker, Jason Ball and Amanda Ball, all of Edgewood, NM; brother, Hugh Johnson Woodworth, Jr. of Long Beach, CA; sister, Sally Noe and husband, Robert of Gallup, NM; several nieces and nephews. Mr. Woodworth was a Korean Conflict veteran of the US Navy. He was retired from Sandia National Laboratory with 28 years service. He was a member and past president of the New Mexico Herpetological Society, a former member of the NM Audubon Society, Hawkwatch International, and the Talking Talons. He was also a member of Friends of Tijeras Pueblo, the Albuquerque Archeological Society and the Archeology Society of NM. Mr. Woodworth was a member of The Episcopal Cathedral of St. John. He was an avid outdoorsman. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m., Sunday, April 9, 2000 at The Episcopal Cathedral of St. John, 318 Silver Ave. SW.
