Obituary for Lindholm

Glenn Theodore Lindholm, 72, a resident of Albuquerque for 13 years, died Tuesday afternoon, April 4, 2000, in the Presbyterian Coronary Care Unit. Glenn Theodore Lindholm, the son of Emil and Lily (Peterson) Lindholm, was born on April 28, 1927, in Ashland, WI, where he spent his childhood, graduated from high school and grew to adulthood. Mr. Lindholm married Marilyn Joanne Berg on July 7, 1951 in Ashland, WI. Prior to his retirement, in 1987, he was employed at the Los Alamos National Laboratory. Mr. Lindholm lived in Wisconsin and Los Alamos, before moving to Albuquerque, where he made his home until the time of his death. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Marilyn Joanne Lindholm of Albuquerque; two daughters, Nancy Jo Fortin and Erica Jan Hoverter; son, Peter Jay Lindholm; granddaughter, Hailey Jo Fortin, all of Albuquerque; three sisters, Genevieve Dvorak of Albuquerque, Alice Johnson and Shirley Wallace of Ashland, WI; and one brother, Larry Lindholm of Austin, TX. Mr. Lindholm was preceded in death by his parents and one sister. Mr. Lindholm was very dedicated to his family and was proud of his Scandinavian heritage. A memorial service to honor Mr. Lindholm's life is scheduled for Saturday, April 8, 2000, 2:00 p.m., at Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum Chapel, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE, with Dr. Russell C. Lee officiating. Cremation will take place and the cremains will be, at his request, inurned at a family ceremony at a future date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Mr. Lindholm may be made to the Presbyterian Healthcare Foundation, Heart Program, in memory of Glenn Theodore Lindholm, P.O.
