Carmen J. Jacobs, 63, a resident of Sherman, TX, formerly of Albuquerque, passed away on Wednesday, April 5, 2000 at the Community Medical Center in Sherman, TX. She is survived by her husband, Jim E. Jacobs of Sherman, TX; son, Peter Jacobs of Sherman, TX; daughters, Cynthia Jacobs and Pam Jacobs, both of Sherman, TX; brothers, Jimmy Baca and Pete Baca, both of Albuquerque; sisters, Sarah Griggs and Rosela Smith, both of Magdelena, NM, and Mary Sanchez and Rose Chavez, both of Albuquerque; and six grandchildren. Rosary will be Friday evening, 7:30 p.m., at Waldo Funeral Home, 619 N. Travis, Sherman, TX. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, April 8, 2000, 2:30 p.m., at St. Marys Catholic Church in Sherman, TX, with Rev. Jeremy Meyers of St. Marys Catholic Church officiating. Burial will be at St. Marys Catholic Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Marys Catholic Church Building Fund, 727 S. Travis, Sherman, TX 75090.
