Buchalter -- Dorothy F."Dottie" Buchalter, 68, a nine year resident of Albuquerque, NM, passed away suddenly following vacation to Hawaii on Saturday, November 13, 1999, from complications after heart surgery in La Jolla, California. She was born in Morris County, TX, near Daingerfield, TX on September 26, 1931 to Elsie Mae and Benford L. Pomeroy of East Texas, and was the 1st of eight children. She married Alfred"Buck" Buchalter, her husband of nearly 48 years on April 12, 1952 in Fresno, CA. She accompanied him during his 20 year career in the U.S. Air Force to assignments all over the United States and Germany. The couple resided in Lubbock, TX for approximately 17 years, eventually retiring in Albuquerque, NM. She was a licensed cosmetologist vocational instructor in Lubbock, TX for many years. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed gardening, homemaking, and travel. She is survived by her husband Alfred"Buck" Buchalter of Albuquerque; son, Michael Buchalter and his wife, Elizabeth of Lake Dallas, TX; grandsons, Quentin Buchalter of Lake Dallas, TX and Clifford Buchalter of Highpoint, NC; sisters, Martha Joe Maples of Jefferson, TX, Vela Mae Pace of Dike, TX; Betty Sue Kipfer of Tyler, TX; brothers, J.P. Voight of Marshall, TX, James Wade Pomeroy of Marshall, TX, Charles Pomeroy of Farmers Branch, TX and Benny Pomeroy of Texas; along with many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbors. She will be greatly missed by her family, many friends, and neighbors. Cremation has taken place. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, November 27, 1999, 2:00 p.m. at the Jenkins Methodist Church, located near Texas Hwys 259 and 997. Donations in memory of Dorothy"Dottie" F. Carrillo -- Lora L. Carrillo, born January 3, 1950, passed away at the age of 49 on November 17, 1999. Lora was preceded in death by her brother, Dennis Carrillo; and one sister-in-law, Veronica Carrillo. She is survived by her daughter, Melissa Carrillo; one granddaughter, Iliana Carrillo; her mother, Adelaida Carrillo; brothers, Filo Carrillo, Milton Carrillo, Paul and wife, Theresa Carrillo; her sisters, Sister Marie Carrillo, Evelyn and husband, Isidro Montano, Alice and husband, Eddie Corley, Sandra Carrillo, Minerva and husband, James Morgan, Terry and husband, Jose Luis Nevarez, Jackie and husband, Daniel Molinar; one sister-in-law, Connie Carrillo; aunts and uncles; Vidal Lopez; many special nieces and nephews; special cousins, Pat and Paula Lopez; and special friends, Javier Munoz and Jennifer Munoz. A Rosary will be recited this evening, November 19, 1999, 7:00 p.m., at Holy Family Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday morning, November 20, 1999, 9:00 a.m., at Holy Family Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the San Jose de Armijo Cemetery. Farley -- Michael Thomas Farley, 2, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, died Tuesday, November 16, 1999. He is survived by his parents, David and Nancy Farley; grandparents, Roger and JoAnne Abbott; great-grandmother, Esther Abbott; God-parents and aunt and uncle, David and Debbie Abbott; aunt, Ann Marie Farley-Petty and husband, Ron; God-parent, Kay Wilson, all of Albuquerque; many great-aunts, great-uncles and cousins; and three dogs and a cat. Michael was a member of Faith Lutheran Church and participated in the Get Set Club. Services will be held Friday, 10:00 a.m., at Faith Lutheran Church, 10000 Spain NE, with Pastor Bruce Wilder officiating. Private family interment will take place at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. Pallbearers will be John Thomas (Tom) Kirkpatrick and David B. Abbott. Foley -- Nellie L."Granny" Foley, 103, a resident of Albuquerque since 1923, died Wednesday, November 17, 1999. She is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth Foley of Albuquerque, Virginia Sullivan and husband, J.B. of Albuquerque, and Mary F. Massengale and husband, Jerry of Odessa, TX; sons, Melvin"Jr." Foley and wife, Mary Helen of Hope, NM and Norman Foley and wife, Dora of Katy, TX; 14 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was a member of Bethel Heritage Church. Graveside services will be held Saturday, November 20, 1999, 1:00 p.m., at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE, with Rev. John Kershaw and Pastor Mike Mullins officiating. Gabaldon -- Zeke Gabaldon, age 61, passed away Monday, November 15, from complications related to Beryllium lung disease in Anaheim, California, where he resided for 40 years. Born in Albuquerque, November 28, 1937, Zeke later joined the Navy and served aboard the U.S.S. Hornet for three years from 1956-58. A machinist employee of Boeing North American, Zeke is survived by his wife, Mary; sons, Steven and Paul; and three grandchildren, Erik, Taylor and Traci. He is also survived by his sisters, Helen Gray of Elephant Butte and Gloria Cordova and Melinda Gabaldon of Albuquerque; as well as one brother, Gilbert Gabaldon; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Garcia -- Masedonia Garcia, 95, a resident of Bernalillo, passed away on Tuesday, November 16, 1999 in West Covina, California. She was preceded in death by her loving husband; Emiliano and her two children, Perfecto Garcia and Merlyn Lucero. Masedonia is survived by two daughters, Oralia Garcia and her husband, Bennie of California, Sharon Martinez and her husband, Charles of California; one son, Leroy Garcia of Hawaii; one daughter-in-law, Minerva Garcia; one son-in-law, Ernest Lucero of Belen; 14 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Cremation has taken place and a Funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday, 9:00 a.m., at Our Lady of Sorrows Parish in Bernalillo. Interment will follow in the Parish Cemetery. Gonzales -- Sam F. Gonzales, age 75, a resident of Albuquerque for 40 years, died November 15, 1999. Hare -- James Charles Hare"JC" passed away Tuesday, November 16, 1999 at UNMH from an extended illness. He was born in Albuquerque on May 14, 1986. He is survived by his parents, James L. Hare and Terry Hare of Moriarty, formally of Logan; his two brothers, Justin and Brandon Hare of the home; grandparents, Wanda and Charles Miller of Raton and Charlsie Hare of Albuquerque; great-grandparents, WH"Bill" and Pearl Miller and Carrie Price, all of Raton and Mary Wilson of Albuquerque; aunt, Cindy Simms of Las Cruces and aunt, Penny and uncle, Leonard Lopez of Raton; cousins, Sarah and Kevin Simms of Las Cruces and Jamie and Ashley Lopez of Raton; and numerous great-aunts and uncles, cousins and friends. In August, the"Make A Wish Foundation of NM" granted JC his wish for a Quarter Horse. Chy'a Johnston and family presented Hobo Doc to JC during the"Expo 99" at the New Mexico State Fair Grounds. Numerous other gifts, a new saddle, bridle, blanket, coat, ropes, feed, vet care, and many other items were also given. He had spent many hours with trainer and best friend, Jim Shaw riding along the Rio Grande River. JC and Jim were very much at peace on their horses. Services will be held Friday, November 19, 1999, 6:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE. Interment will take place Saturday, November 20, 1999, 2:00 p.m., at Fairview Cemetery in Raton, NM. Harper -- Leroy V. Harper, age 87, passed away November 17, 1999. He had been a resident of Albuquerque since 1957. He retired from the Air Force in 1962 after serving for 27 years. He was born in Choctaw, Oklahoma. He is survived by his wife Mary, of 59 years; son, John Harper; daughter, Leanne Gideon; grandsons, John D. Harper and Timothy A. Gideon; and granddaughter, Megan Gideon, all of Albuquerque. Graveside services and burial will be in Santa Fe National Cemetery. French Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
