Lujan -- Lourdes M. Lujan, 92, was called home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, November 16, 1999. She is survived by one sister, Ethel Ziegler of California; two Goddaughters, Dolores Garcia of California and Joyce Cervantes of Albuquerque; nieces and nephews, Etta Allan, Maria Lawhorn, Lucille Rivera, Katerina C de Vaca, Ruth Wagner, Juliette and Leroy Duran, Robert and Sandy Lujan, Ernest and Stellan Lujan, Bobby and Mary Wagner, Leo C de Vaca Jr., Tiney C de Vaca, Eva and Donald C de Vaca. She will be greatly missed. Visitations will be today, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., in the Chapel of Garcia Mortuary, located on the corner of 8th and Stover. A Rosary will be recited this evening, 7:00 p.m., at San Felipe de Neri Catholic Church, located in the Old Town Plaza. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 12:00 p.m. also at the church. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Robert Lujan, Ernest Lujan, Steve Lujan, Mark Maestas, Ronaldo Cervantes Jr., and Ronald Cervantes Sr. Honorary bearers will be Ted Lujan and Johhnie Sedillo. Maes -- Joe A. Maes, age 79, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, died November 15, 1999. He is survived by daughters, Anna Abeyta and husband, Eddie of Ranchos de Taos, NM, Alice Maes of Albuquerque, Angela Blea and husband, Jesse of Albuquerque; sons, Victor Maes and wife, Liz of Taos, NM, Leo Maes and wife, Antionette of Albuquerque, Herman Maes of Albuquerque; sisters, Mercedes Jaramillo of Questa, NM, Fedelina Trujillo of Block Lake, NM; brother, Manuel Maes of Albuquerque; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; son-in-law, Mark Laviolette. He was a member of St. Charles Parish, and a member of DAV and the VFW. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. at St. Charles Catholic Church, Thursday, November 18, 1999. Martinez -- Steven Jacob Martinez, infant son of Melanie and Steve Martinez, born November 14, 1999, died November 14, 1999. He is survived by his sister, Ashley Lucero; maternal grandparents, Clyde and Laura Weinheimer and Steve and Mary Martinez; uncles include John and Sandra Candelaria of Omaha, NE, and Robert Weinheimer of Austin, TX, also Thomas Martinez of Albuquerque, and Jennifer Garciasalas of Albuquerque; great-grandparents include Frank and Frances Godinez, Ramona Perea, and Joe and Polly Martinez. Mcpherson -- Sam McPherson, 87, passed away Sunday, November 14, 1999. He was a resident of Albuquerque for the past 78 years. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Helen Mead McPherson; son, Michael McPherson and his wife, Mary Ann of Hingham, MA; sister-in-law, Francis Mead of Albuquerque; niece, Shirley Troy of Albuquerque; great-nephews, Jim, Ed and John Troy of Huntsville, AL; cousin, Frances Neufeld and husband, Hal of Albuquerque. He attended the University of New Mexico, was a president of the 20/ 30 Club of Albuquerque, and was the Manager of Contractors Equipment and Supply Company for more than 30 years. A Memorial service will be held at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 431 Richmond Place NE, Albuquerque, on Friday, November 19, 1999 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations made, in loving memory of Sam McPherson, to the New Mexico Boys and Girls Ranches, 6209 Hendrix Ave. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110, (505) 881-4200. Mehlberg -- Margaret E. Mehlberg, 91, a resident of Albuquerque since 1988, died Tuesday, November 16, 1999. She is survived by her sons, Charles E. Mehlberg and wife, Doris of Duluth, MN and James C. Mehlberg and wife, Alice of Albuquerque; and grandchildren, Alicia and Aaron and his wife, Kelly. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Mehlberg in 1987. Margaret was born on March 20, 1908, the daughter of James and Rose Armstrong, and granddaughter of pioneer residents, Gottlieb and Margaret Hartman of Houghton, MI. She graduated from Houghton High School in 1925 and Drake University, Des Moines, IA in 1929. Margaret taught in the Goldfield, Iowa, Chassell and Portage Township Schools. She married Carl Mehlberg on December 29, 1938. Margaret had been a member of Houghton Chapter Eastern Star since 1926 and a past organist. She was a charter member of Trillium Chapter Eastern Star. Margaret was also a member of Delta Sigma Epsilon Sorority, a charter member of the Houghton High School Alumni Association, and a past president of Judson E. Ingram Post American Legion Auxiliary. She was a member of the Portage Lake United Church, where she was involved in the Bothner Circle. Interment will take place at Forest Hill Cemetery in Houghton, MI. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE, Friday, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Rotary Club of Albuquerque Del Norte Foundation, P.O. Neal -- William"Bud" Neal, 80, a resident of Albuquerque for four years, died Monday, November 15, 1999. He is survived by his son, Terry Neal and wife, Aurea of Guam; nephew, Dan Bartlett and wife, Dympna; sister-in-law, Dorothy Bartlett, all of Albuquerque; one brother; one sister; and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Neal enjoyed fishing and telling stories. Memorial services will be held Thursday, 4:00 p.m., at Our Lady of Guadalupe, 1860 Griegos Rd. NW. Private disposition will take place.

Stanton -- Agnes Stanton, 83, died Sunday, November 14, 1999. Mrs. Stanton was born in Sheridan, WY and was a resident of Albuquerque since 1956. She is survived by her husband, Willis of the family home; son, Alan Stanton and wife, Doreen of Santa Fe; daughter-in-law, Laurie Stanton of Albuquerque; and grandchildren, Carrie and Elena Stanton of Albuquerque, and Brian and Christina Stanton of Santa Fe. She is also survived by her nephews, Michael Hotchkiss of Bloomfield, NM, Phillip Hotchkiss of Gillette, WY and Warren Stevenson of Buffalo, WY; nieces, Lanice Smith of Buffalo, WY, Barbara Hotchkiss of Buckskin, MT. She was preceded in death by her son, Jay Stanton; two brothers; and one sister. Mrs. Stanton was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a longtime member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, and was active in Dorcas Circle and the Jolly Elders. Mrs. Stanton was a member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees. Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held Thursday, November 18, 1999, 2:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, with Rev. Gerald White officiating.
