Davis -- Clayton Bradley"Brad" Davis, 47, passed away suddenly on Saturday, August 14, 1999. He is survived by his mother, Inez Davis of Albuquerque; son, Cody Davis and daughter, Mallori Davis of Waukomis, OK; son, Jonas Davis of California; sister, Tanya Davis; niece, Briana Van Schuyver both of Albuquerque; loving companion, Kathy Tulloch of Albuquerque; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence B. Davis. There will be a gathering Thursday, August 19, 1999, 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at the family home to celebrate Brad's life.

Grayham Sedillo -- Grayham Vonda Jean Grayham Sedillo went to meet our Lord, Jesus Christ, on August 15, 1999. She lost her battle with cancer that took her beautiful, young life. Vonda was a member of the Catholic Church and was a student at Polk Middle School. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Eloy V. Sedillo; and her cousin, Brian Sedillo. Vonda is survived by her father, Gilbert J. Sedillo; step-mother, Debbie Covarrubias; brother, Joe Joe; grandmother, Ruby Sedillo; step-sister, Mary Gomez and husband, Joe; step-brother, Andrew Covarrubias, Terry and John Ball; nephews, Craig and Joey; niece, Emily Jordan; aunties, Connie S. Marquez and husband, Roy of Los Lunas, Bea Bauman and husband, Craig of Tennessee, Linda and Nelda Sedillo of Albuquerque; and her many loving cousins, great-aunts and uncles; and many loving friends who loved her very much. Funeral services for Vonda will be held on Thursday at the Ascension Catholic Church where the Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at the Pajarito Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Patrick Sedillo, Joe Gomez, Stanley Sedillo, Loretta, Lorna and Rhonda. Honorary pallbearers will be Steve Sanchez, James Rael, Mario, Joe Joe Sedillo, Craig Gomez and Joey. Hall -- Curtis Ray Hall, born June 23, 1957 in Roswell, New Mexico, passed away August 12, 1999. He worked with the Sickle Cell Council of New Mexico. His father, Freeman Hall and a brother, Dewayne Hall, preceded him in death. He is survived by a daughter, Joetta Hall; son, C.J. Hall, both of Albuquerque; mother, Lueoma Hall of Carlsbad, NM; sister, Delaine Hall of Carlsbad, NM; brothers, Willy Hall and wife, Audrey of Roswell, Earl Don Barksdale and wife, Linda of Portales, NM, Freddy Ray Hall of Carlsbad, NM, Sylvester Hall of Albuquerque, and William Owen Hall Jr. of Carlsbad. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial service will be Wednesday, August 18, 1999, 11:00 a.m., at Hillcrest Funeral Home, with Rev. N.D. Smith officiating. Hoy -- Hobart D. Hoy, 61, passed away on Monday, August 16, 1999 at the VA Hospital in Albuquerque after a long illness. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on November 20, 1937. He later joined the US Marine Corps. He moved from Toledo to Albuquerque in 1968 and worked at Levi Straus before being transferred to the Roswell Levi Straus. He retired from Levi Straus in 1989 and bought the Roswell Lock and Key Shop, which he ran until 1999. He is survived by his mother, Lillian Langley and her husband, Wellington; his brother, Paul M. Hoy and wife, Theresa of Temperance, MI; his sisters, Caroll Komisarik and husband, Eugene of Curtice, OH, and Nancy Davis and husband, John of Albuquerque; numerous nieces and nephews; and 12 great-nieces and nephews, including John Fredric and wife, Susan, and Joseph Paul Davis, all of Albuquerque. A visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 18, 1999 with a Memorial service to follow at 11:00 a.m. at Riverside Funeral Home Chapel of Bernalillo. Burial will be held at the Toledo Memorial Park in Toledo, Ohio at a later date. The family's heartfelt thanks go to all for their prayers and well wishes. Lange -- Paul Lange, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, died at home Monday after a long battle with heart disease. Paul was born in Frankfurt, Germany on July 26, 1911, the son of Amelia and Dr. Hans Lange. He immigrated to the US in 1929 at the age of 18, lived on Long Island, New York and worked for ten years in the foreign department of Chase National Bank, where he met his wife of 60 years, Jeanette. After marrying and having two children, he moved his family to Santa Fe in 1945, after visiting his father, who spent the summers in Santa Fe while serving as conductor of the Chicago symphony, later the Santa Fe Symphonietta and Albuquerque Civic Symphony. Paul was hired by Ned Wood at Santa Fe Motor Company where he worked as business manager and secretary-treasurer for 37 years. Gardening, music and travel were his passions. Paul is survived by his loving and ever faithful wife, Jeanette; his daughter, Barbara (Bunnie) Rotto and husband ,Dick of Houston and Santa Fe; son, Paul Jr. and his wife, Kathy of Albuquerque; and sister, Annemarie of Macon, Georgia; five grandchildren, Michelle Rotto Bulla, Sue Rotto Ilg, Richard Kyle Rotto, Donald Paul Rotto and Ron Marcinelli; and five great-grandchildren, Dallas and Garrett Bulla, Cody and Tanner Ilg, Morgan Rotto; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, at the chapel of the First Presbyterian Church. Lucero -- Renee Lucero, age 45, a resident of Big Bear, California and longtime resident of Albuquerque, died Thursday, August 5, 1999. She is survived by husband, Don Tapia; mother, Virginia Lucero; son, Ramon Gallegos; brothers, Chris, Glen, Boni and wife, Milly, Clifford and wife, Karen, and Ernest; nieces and nephews, Tammy, Steve, Robert, Matthew, Marcos, Kiko and Paul; step-kids, Todd, Tommy, Mike and Donna Tapia. Renee was recently preceded in death by her father, Chris Lucero; and niece, Lynnae Lucero. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 17, 1999 at San Felipe Church in Old Town. Montoya -- Tommy R. Montoya, 36, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on August 14, 1999. Tommy was the beloved father of three daughters, Crystal Montoya, Sybil Montoya and boyfriend, Steven Coca, and Jessica Montoya; two sons, Jacob Francia and Tommy Montoya Jr. Tommy is also survived by his loving mother, Mary Jane Garcia and his loving father, Robert Montoya and wife, Shirley; five sisters, Annette Montoya and fiance, Victor Mendoza, Frances Montoya, Theresa Duran and boyfriend, Larry Montoya, Louise Valdez, Monica Garcia and Ceci Sedillo; three brothers, Danny Montoya, Ruben Garcia and John Anthony Gallegos; grandfather, Carlos Montoya; three grandchildren, Tiffany Montoya, Jeremy Coca and Shantia Montoya; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Tommy was a member of the Catholic Church. A Rosary will be recited Wednesday evening, 7:00 p.m., at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 412 Stover Ave. SE, with visitation at the church after 6:30 p.m. Deacon Montoya and Carlos Montoya reciting. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday morning, 10:00 a.m., at Sacred Heart Church with visitation at the church after 9:30 a.m. Father Moore, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Danny Montoya, Victor Mendoza, John Anthony Gallegos, Ruben Garcia, Craig McLane and Erasmo Torrez. Navarro -- Joe T. Navarro, 79, passed away August 13, 1999. Testman -- John T. Testman, a resident of Albuquerque since 1930, passed away in Taos, New Mexico. He was born October 12, 1905 in Canyon, Texas. He was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Naomi Owens Testman; his second wife, Nell Heard Bibo Testman; his sister, Vega Testman; and a granddaughter, Roberta Garwood Scahill. He is survived by daughters, Theresa T. Garwood of Albuquerque and Svea (Peggy) T. Stevens and husband, William L. of Taos, NM; grandchildren, Billy Garwood and wife, Linda, Ted Garwood and wife, Diane, Richard Stevens and wife, Cydney, Johnny Stevens and fiancee, Patricia Cantrell, and Carin Stevens Anderson and husband, Eric; eight great-grandchildren; and two step-sons, John Heard and Pat and wife, Lorraine. He was a partner in the Huning-Testman Electrical Co. before WWII. His New Mexico National Guard Unit was called to duty in November 1941 and he served until December 1945. He was a charter member of the first Optimists Club formed in Albuquerque in March, 1940, called the Downtown Optimist Club. After WWII, he became a general contractor and constructed many churches, schools and commercial buildings. Later, he and Dub Underwood formed Underwood-Testman Construction Company and were the contractors for the College of Education Complex at the University of New Mexico and The Elks Club Building among many other fine buildings. In 1949, he served as President of the forming committees for what later became the Associated General Contractors and served as the first President of that organization in 1953. He was a member of Temple #6 of the Masonic Lodge which he served as Worshipful Master in 1954, the Scottish Rite Temple and the Shriners Club, served on the Vestry of St. John's Episcopal Cathedral, and belonged to several other clubs, including the Toastmasters Club and the Elks Club. The past decade he had alternated living with his daughters. Services will be held Wednesday at St. John's Episcopal Cathedral at 2:00 p.m. Donations may be made to the charity of your choice.

Whiting -- Funeral services were held for Clifford"Red" Whiting, 92, a resident of Albuquerque since 1955, died Thursday, August 12, 1999. He is survived by his daughter, Jean Whiting of Las Vegas, NM; nephew, Robert Ray of Phoenix, AZ; nieces, Eileen McClinton of Horatio, AR, Rita Craig and Penny Ray, both of Phoenix, AZ; close friend, Gerald Johnson of Albuquerque; and companion, Charlie. Mr. Whiting was preceded in death by his wife, Jessie O. Whiting in 1993. He was born in St. Johns, AZ. Mr. Whiting started work in 1929 for the B.I.A. in Fort Defiance, AZ. He retired from the Bureau of Indian Affair Branch of Plant Design and Construction in 1966. After he retired, Mr. Whiting was elected President of the Albuquerque Chapter of National Association Retired Federal Employees and later was elected President of the N.A.R.F.E. State Chapter. Mr. Whiting was the original chairman of the State Commission on Aging and served on the National Council on Aging. He was an administrative assistant to Lt. Governor Roberto Mondragon. Mr. Whiting was an avid genealogist and served as director of the L.D.S. Family History Center, located at 1100 Montano NW. His hobbies included construction and gardening. Mr. Whiting was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Services were held Monday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Montano Chapel, with Bishop Carl Osborn officiating. Pallbearers were Toby Candelaria, Gerald Johnson, Tony Knudsen, Javier Zapata, Carl Osborn and Joe Narvaez. Interment took place at Sunset Memorial Park. French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE.

Young -- Rachel C. Young, 96, passed away August 11, 1999. Rachel was born on January 30, 1903 in Clarksville, Texas to Rev. D.F. and Lena Corley Hamilton.
