Renee Lucero, age 45, a resident of Big Bear, California and longtime resident of Albuquerque, died Thursday, August 5, 1999. She is survived by husband, Don Tapia; mother, Virginia Lucero; son, Ramon Gallegos; brothers, Chris, Glen, Boni and wife, Milly, Clifford and wife, Karen, and Ernest; nieces and nephews, Tammy, Steve, Robert, Matthew, Marcos, Kiko and Paul; step-kids, Todd, Tommy, Mike and Donna Tapia. Renee was recently preceded in death by her father, Chris Lucero; and niece, Lynnae Lucero. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 17, 1999 at San Felipe Church in Old Town. A private service will follow later in the week in California.
