Hoy -- Hobart D. Hoy, 61, passed away on Monday, August 16, 1999 at the VA Hospital in Albuquerque after a long illness. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on November 20, 1937. He later joined the US Marine Corps. He moved from Toledo to Albuquerque in 1968 and worked at Levi Straus before being transferred to the Roswell Levi Straus. He retired from Levi Straus in 1989 and bought the Roswell Lock and Key Shop, which he ran until 1999. He is survived by his mother, Lillian Langley and her husband, Wellington; his brother, Paul M. Hoy and wife, Theresa of Temperance, MI; his sisters, Caroll Komisarik and husband, Eugene of Curtice, OH, and Nancy Davis and husband, John of Albuquerque; numerous nieces and nephews; and 12 great-nieces and nephews, including John Fredric and wife, Susan, and Joseph Paul Davis, all of Albuquerque. A visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 18, 1999 with a Memorial service to follow at 11:00 a.m. at Riverside Funeral Home Chapel of Bernalillo. Burial will be held at the Toledo Memorial Park in Toledo, Ohio at a later date. The family's heartfelt thanks go to all for their prayers and well wishes.
