Dunatchik -- Richard Charles Dunatchik January 15, 1939-May 29, 1998For DadA year ago you passed away Out of our sight Far from our touch. You slipped the bonds Of earthly weights And daily strife. Before we knew it, You had gone. And in your absence We have sought Solace, hope, peace and life. Our children we have held, And how they've grown, but this you know. Our partners we have sought To ease this pain, this loss, this sadness. For in your life you brought so much To all of us you held so dear. You gave us love, you taught us truth, Made us recognize the beauty Abounding close enough to touch.Your kindness and your warmth Bestowed upon us all, Soothed our hearts in times like this, In times when words can't say enough When heartfelt wishes must lie silent Our lips afraid to set them free.Or must they? For with the angels you now soar And in the heavens up above Your spirit lives and loves and listens. And in our hearts you warm great spaces And in our smiles you live again. For when we speak of you, or dream of you We smile. And the gift of a smile lives forever. For smiles are born in our hearts, And in our hearts you will remain. We miss you dad, And know you're watching over us. We love you dad, And wish you peace and love and joy For time eternal, ever more.Love, Stephany Ann
