Garcia -- Peggy (Pilar) Garcia, 77, beloved and devoted mother and grandmother was called home to be with the Lord Thursday, May 27, 1999. Mrs. Garcia was a parishioner of St. Anne's Catholic Church, a member of the St. Anne's Women's Society; she was a Top Graduate in Medical Terminology and was a very loving person. She is survived by one daughter, Lily Leal; one son, Floyd Garcia; ten grandchildren, Marie Aragon, Angie Perkins, Peggy Ann Padilla, Anadine Garcia, Louie Garcia, Roberta Lopez, Dorella Lopez, Sonya Leal, Jenell Garcia and Ricky Garcia; ten great-grandchildren, Rey Caire II, April Caire, Daniel Perkins, Gabriel Perkins, Victoria Jaramillo, Venessa Jaramillo, Angelica Leal, DeAnn Nieto, Jesus Nieto and Steven Garcia; three great-great-grandchildren, Joshua Caire, Samantha Caire and Rian Caire. She will be greatly missed by her loving family. Mass of Christian will be celebrated this morning at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anne's Parish. Interment will follow at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Ricky Garcia, Rey Caire II, Daniel Perkins, Steve Gonzales, Randolph Chavez and Mike Cordova. Honorary bearers will be Ronnie Chavez and Carlos Silva. Funeral services are under the care of Garcia Mortuary, 717 Stover Ave., S.W.
