Posey -- Ada D. Posey, 88, a resident of Albuquerque since 1980, died on Wednesday, May 26, 1999. She is survived by her children, James Posey and wife, Dollene, Arthur B. Posey and wife, Dorothy, all of Albuquerque, Willistean Smith and husband, James C. of Jamaica, NY, Louis Posey and wife, Annie of Wheatley Heights, NY, Vera L. Wilson, and Henrietta Posey of Albuquerque; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; sisters, Flora Posey of Pell City, AL, Vera Files and Birmingham, AL and Clara McGown of Pell City, AL; and a host of relatives and friends. Mrs. Posey was a member and deaconess of Mt. Olive Baptist Church, as well as active in the Missionary Society. Services will be held Saturday, May 29, 1999, 11:00 a.m., at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, 2401 University Blvd. SE, with Rev. Stephen Billingslea officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. p.m. French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE.
