CORDOVA -- Evangeline L. Cordova, age 84 and a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 9, 2006 while surrounded by her family. Mrs. Cordova is survived by he five sons: Hank Cordova, Gary E. Cordova, Ron Cordova and his wife, Janie, Don Cordova, all of Albuquerque, and Dennis Cordova and his wife, Colleen of Washington; one sister, Connie Gonzales; one brother, Calistro Garcia, both of Albuquerque; ten grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. A Memorial Services for Mrs. Cordova will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. in Cross of Hope Lutheran Church, 6104 Taylor Ranch Rd. NW, with Pastor Dale G. Bauer officiating. The family prefers that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society. All Services are under the care and direction of: Strong-Thorne Mortuary 1100 Coal Ave. SE 842-8800
