Snell -- Roy L."Pete" Snell, 70, an Albuquerque resident since 1951, died Thursday, March 26, 1998. Mr. Snell is survived by his wife, Mary Ellen Snell of the family home; sons, Lee Roy Snell and wife, Joanne of Chesapeake, VA, Walter Earl Snell and wife, Wen of Los Angeles, CA, and William Lacy Snell and wife, Laurie of Albuquerque; daughters, Patricia Robertson and husband, Marty of Tijeras, NM, and Barbara Vaughn and husband, Jim of Prewitt, NM; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren; sisters, Bobbie Horne of Concord, CA, and Velma Milton and husband, Tom of Marshall, TX; and numerous other family and friends. He was a member of Hiram Lodge #13, A.F. & A.M. and of Adah Chapter #5, Order of the Eastern Star. Mr. Snell retired from PNM Gas Company in 1986. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, at French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE. Cremation will follow the service. Friends may visit from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Sunday, March 29, 1998, at French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE.
