Obituary for Snell

Roy L."Pete" Snell, 70, an Albuquerque resident since 1951, died Thursday, March 26, 1998. Mr. Snell is survived by his wife, Mary Ellen Snell of the family home; sons, Lee Roy Snell and wife, Joanne of Chesapeake, VA, Walter Earl Snell and wife, Wen of Los Angeles, CA, and William Lacy Snell and wife, Laurie of Albuquerque; daughters, Patricia Robertson and husband, Marty of Tijeras, NM, and Barbara Vaughn and husband, Jim of Prewitt, NM; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren; sisters, Bobbie Horne of Concord, CA, and Velma Milton and husband, Tom of Marshall, TX; and numerous other family and friends. He was a member of Hiram Lodge #13, A.F. & A.M. and of Adah Chapter #5, Order of the Eastern Star. Mr. Snell retired from PNM Gas Company in 1986. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, at French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE. Cremation will follow the service. Friends may visit from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Sunday, March 29, 1998, at French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE.
