Fleming -- Robert G. Fleming passes away November 11 after losing his battle with cancer. He was 73. Growing up near Keedysville, MD on a small farm without electricity or plumbing did not bring complaints about hard times, but only inspired him to work harder for a better life. In 1950 Bob started working at the fledgling Sandia National Laboratories. He retired 43 years later. It was a career he was very proud of. His brothers and sister, Charles, Jack, Lynn, and Jeanne; his children, Peggy, Dana, Lance, and Liese and their families; as well as his long time sweetheart, Emma Vasquez; and her daughters, Karen and Cheryl, will miss him greatly. He was a good, loving man, respected and deeply loved by all whose life he touched. Private family service have been held. Sunrise Society is serving the family of Mr. Fleming ( 891-8200)
