SAIZ -- Vidal (Billy) Saiz, born July 4, 1949, went with the Lord on Good Friday, March 21, 2008, following an acute illness. He was a long-time resident of Belen before residing in Rio Rancho. Vidal (Billy) proudly served in the Air Force during Vietnam as a Security Policeman and was a retired Master Carpenter. Billy is preceded in death by his mother, Rebecca Saiz; sister, Molly Campbell; brothers, Jerry and Jimmy Saiz. He is survived by his wife, Rosemary; daughters: TSgt.Oriana Saiz; Jessica Cymer and husband, Peter, Jennifer Earickson and husband, Jared; grandsons, Patrick and Joshua Cymer, Michael and Christian Cramberg. His brothers: David, Benjamin and wife, Joan; and Edward. Sisters: Oralia Kleven and husband, Leroy, Fedelina Saiz, and Dolores Crosby. Nieces: Annette Moya, Marlene Romero, Alison Kleven, Christie Tarrentino, Melanie Crosby. Nephews: Phillip Saiz, Andy Saiz, Kenny Saiz, Daniel Saiz, Joe Manuel Saiz, Marvin Jaramillo, Mitchell Saiz, Manny Morales and Sam Gomez. CROSBY -- Ann Crosby, devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, died on January 16, 2008 in her Albuquerque home. Ann was born May 17, 1915 in Buffalo, NY to Martin Solomon and Mary P. Mutha. After Martin died, Mary married Frederick W. Priabe. Frederick and Mary raised Ann and her siblings. Ann met her future husband, Harry during World War II while she worked for Curtis Wright Aviation as a line bleeder. Harry was a line inspector also for Curtis Wright Aviation. Harry was a pilot in New York, but due to sinus problems decided to move west. Ann and Harry settled in Albuquerque in 1946 after their car broke down on their way to Tucson, AZ. In Albuquerque Ann pursued a career as a bookkeeper for Cook's Sporting Goods and raised four children. She retired from Cook's at the age of 62. "Our mother was an outstanding woman," says daughter Barbara Perry. "Without her, I would not be the person I am today, and I know my sister and two brothers feel the same." Ann was preceded in death by her loving husband, Harry H. Crosby Jr.; sister, Marie Corcoran; and brothers, Frank Solomon, Edward Solomon, and Frederick W. Priabe. She is survived by her sister, Janet Buckman of NY; children, Barbara Perry and husband, Miles of Jemez Springs, NM, Chris Knight and husband, Lew of Albuquerque, Harry Crosby III of Albuquerque, and Frederick W. Crosby and wife, Jackie of Mimbres, NM; nine grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her loving family. Visitations will be held on Friday, January 18, 2008 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Carlisle Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services. BURKE -- Bobby Dean Burke, 83, beloved, husband, father, and grandfather, and lifelong resident of Albuquerque, NM, passed away on September 13, 2007. Mr. Burke was born on January 29, 1924 to Marriot and Helen (Roe) Burke of Albuquerque, NM. He served our country in the US Army and earned a Silver Star during World War II. Mr. Burke owned and operated Burke's Plumbing and Heating Company. He will be remembered for his love of fishing, camping, and gardening. He is survived by his children: Linda Berglund and husband, Dale, of Rio Rancho, NM, Dena Plagens and husband, Jim, of Albuquerque, NM, and Lonnie Burke and wife, Joan, also, of Albuquerque, NM; grandchildren: Dean, Delreen, Diane, Cindy, Sally, Aaron, and James; 15 great-grandchildren; and very dear friends, Fred and Marie Yoshimoto. She was preceded in death by her ex-husband Ronald Crosby; father Rudolpho Leyba; and her brother Gilbert Leyba. She is survived by sons Ronald Jr, Roger, and Richard Crosby; mother Emma Leyba; and brother Rudy M. Leyba. Yolanda is now resting in peace in the hands of the Lord. PARTIN -- Charles W. "Chuck" Partin, 55, of Albuquerque passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2007. He was born March 2, 1952, in Albuquerque, to Tech Sgt. U.S.A.F. Graham H. and Waneta Partin. He was an auto mechanic for many years, in and around the Albuquerque area. In his spare time, he enjoyed drawing. He is survived by his mother, Waneta B. Partin-Weatherhead of Albuquerque; step-children, Micheal Walter of Utah, Bruce Crosby of Valencia County, Krista Crosby of Albuquerque; step-brother, Dan Weatherhead of Albuquerque; step-sister, Sandra Kirsch of CA; and several step grandchildren and nieces as well as cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Bobbi Partin in 1972; his father, Graham H. Partin in 1959; and his step-father, Paul Weatherhead in 1989.
