A lifelong voracious reader, she is survived by her son, Rick; her sister, Laura Pirtle and husband, Al of Payson, AZ and their sons, David, Bill, Larry, and Randy; and her sister, Ruth Dodson and husband, Bill of Benton, MO, and their children, Vicki, Billy, and Christy. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charley; her sister, Willine Perry; her daughter, Rae Jean "Corky"; and her daughter-in-law, Ana Chavira-Huff. No formal services are planned. In accordance with her wishes, her cremains will be placed beside those of her husband in Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul on Saturday, October 27, 2001, 9:00 a.m. In her memory, it is asked that contributions be made to reading and literacy programs of your choosing.
