He was born in Oakland, CA on April 25, 1953, to Santiago Baca and Rose Quintana Baca. He was preceded in death by his beloved parents Santiago and Rose Baca; wife Barbara J. Baca; and brother Eliseo Baca. Robert is survived by sons, Robert E. (Mary Jane) Baca, Gary L. Baca, Mark E. (Pamela) Baca, also surviving ex-wife Lorraine L. Baca, and daughters Nelda (Martin Sandoval) Loomis, Crystal Loomis, Leanna (Sergio) Loomis-Meza. Five grandsons, Robert Ray Baca, Nathan Baca, Martin Sandoval, Isaiah Baca, and Caleb Coriz; seven grand-daughters, Ashley Baca, Gabriella Baca, Annabell Hernandez, Angel Coriz, Katelyn Sandoval, Cynthia Sandoval, and Jasmine Baca. Great- grandson Elijah Baca. Brother, Vincent (Elsie) Baca, sister Elena Baca, brother at heart Paul Marquez. Robert was a wonderful man who loved his family and friends. HARVISTON, DOROTHY M. Dorothy Harviston, 80, passed away on Tuesday, January 20, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents Cleo and Hattie Jantz. Dorothy is survived by her spouse of 62 years, Sherman Bill Harviston; son Gene Harviston (Margie); daughters Kay Stevens (Richard), and Debby Montano (Rick); brother Dwayne Jantz (Kim); sisters Velda Crocker (Larry); Gerrie Pederson (Pete), and Tricia Brinkley; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. CHAVEZ, LARRY D. Retired Staff Sargent Larry D. Chavez went to heaven January 8, 2015. He served in the Air Force and Desert Storm. He loved his country. Left behind are his two sisters Irene Wessel and Angie Bazar; as well as his two brothers John Chavez and Jerry Chavez. He will be greatly missed. ARMIJO, THERESA STELLA "MAMO" age 65, was born November 25, 1949 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She passed away Sunday, January 18, 2015 with her loving family by her side. Theresa will be remembered as a very loving and talented woman who will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her mother, Eva Stewart and is survived by her husband, Jimmy Armijo; daughters, Irene Rubio and Cynthia Baca and husband Frankie; son, Jimmy J. MARR, VIRGINIA LEE passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at the age of 96, while surrounded by her loving family. She lived a long and fulfilling life. Born on a dry farm in South Eastern Wyoming on September 8, 1918. She graduated from Guernsey High School in Wyoming in 1936. She moved to work in Long Beach, California for Lockheed Aircraft Company. She married the love of her life Robert in Las Vegas, Nevada in March 1942. In February 1957 Robert and Virginia moved to Los Alamos and lived in the Chapel apartments. Robert took a job with the Los Alamos National Labs as a machinist. Virginia was a cosmetologist for over 20 years. Virginia became involved in numerous activities with the United Church of Los Alamos. She was Alter Flower chairman for years, helped with the annual Christmas Bazaar, and was the 1st chairman of "Lift." She was an avid square dancer for 50 years, where she started in Wyoming. One of her greatest achievements was helping Robert build the house on Barranca Mesa. (The house with the Christmas lights on Barranca Mesa.) Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, Bonnie and Lee Blevins and her brothers, Wylie and Richard Blevins. She is survived by her beloved husband of 74 years, Robert; her son, Larry, her daughter-in-law, Jean; grandson, Tyler of Los Alamos; her big brother, Bob "Bingo" Blevins of Wyoming, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Virginia was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was known for her caring heart and generous nature. Virginia will be laid to rest in the columbarium at the United Church at a private committal service prior to the memorial service. The family of Virginia Marr wishes to thank the loving, hardworking and dedicated staff at Aspen Ridge Lodge Assisted Living.
