Harvey -- Lawrence Edward Harvey, Sr. died May 8, 1998 at V.A.M.C. in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was born in Springfield, IL on December 20, 1938. Mr. Harvey was a veteran of the US Marine Corps and was stationed in California where he met and married his wife, Marion. He remained in Los Angeles, CA where he was a member of Greater St. Mark Baptist Church. Mr. and Mrs. Harvey moved to Albuquerque in 1997. He was a member of The Armour of God Christian Center under the leadership of Bishop Elizabeth A. Mooney. He was preceded in death by his son, LaDarrell G. Harvey; one brother, Homer R. Harvey; his father, Van C. Harvey and his mother, Arminta Tigue. He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Marion Harvey; three daughters, Stephanie Harvey Lewis, Kim Harvey, and Annesey Harvey; seven sons, Michael Harvey, David Harvey, Reverend Gregory Harvey, George Harvey, Kevin Harvey, Pastor Brian Harvey, and Lawrence Harvey Jr; one brother, Donald Harvey; two sisters, Melvina Denkins and Audry Curtis; and one half-sister, LaDonna Lahai of Springfield, Il; 32 grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 10:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE, with Pastor Brian Harvey and Bishop Elizabeth A. Mooney officiating. Ryan -- Bette J. Ryan, 68, a resident of Albuquerque since 1963, died May 2, 1998. She is survived by her husband, John C. Ryan of the family home; sons, Bill Ryan of Albuquerque. Tom Ryan of Kansas City, MO, Rob Ryan and wife, Kimberly of Phoeniz, AZ; grandchildren, Chelsea and Kirsten; nephew, James Paris; niece, Mary Paris Lewis; and many close aunts, uncles and cousins, living in Ayrshire, Scotland. Mrs. Ryan was preceded in death by her son, John Sinclair Ryan. She was a member of the Catholic Church and a former member of St. Charles Borromeo Parish; a member of St. Joseph Hospital Auxiliary; a former Cub Scout Den mother; and a very loving wife, mother and grandmother. Scriptural services will be held on Tuesday, May 5, at 10:00 a.m. with Fr. Paul Baca, officiating at French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. N.E. Lucero -- Horacio"Horace" Lucero, 78, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, died Sunday, April 19,1998. He is survived by his children, Renee Ann Lucero and Gary Michael Lucero, both of Albuquerque, and Mark Steven Lucero of Edgewood; four grandchildren; brothers, Sabino Lucero and wife, Teresa of Albuquerque and Ambrose Sanchez; sister, Hope Hopper of Michigan; and numerous nieces and nephews. Curran -- Velma F. Curran, 91, a resident of Albuquerque since 1941, died Friday, April 10, 1998. She is survived by her daughter, Lauravell"Lauri" Ainsworth and husband, Bill of El Paso, TX; son, John Curran and wife, Karen of Flora Vista, NM; sisters, Buelah Curran and Vallie Cunico, both of Raton, NM; granddaughter, Melissa Curran and great-granddaughter, Tahnee Curran, both of Ketchican, AK; and also grandchildren, Lisa Gayle Wright and husband, Bobby of Capitan, NM, William Hardy Ainsworth II of El Paso, TX, David Lynn Ainsworth and Charlene Zawisza and husband, David, all of Albuquerque; great-grandchildren, Candice Renee Ainsworth, William Nicola Ainsworth, Allison Bre Ainsworth, Tiffany Zawisza, Kristal Zawisza, and Travis Zawisza; and Alberta Lewis"Daughter Number II." She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Curran. Velma was a member of Heights Christian Church. She was a wonderful homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother. Gabaldon -- Ernesto"Ernie" Gabaldon, 71, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, died Thursday, April 9, 1998. He is survived by his wife, Helen J. Gabaldon of Albuquerque; sons, Raymond E. Gabaldon and wife, Lori of Oceano, CA and Steven M. Gabaldon and wife, Denise of Phoenix, AZ; sisers, Antonia M. Sandoval and Roberta Myers and husband, Henry, all of Albuquerque; and brother, Henry Gabaldon and wife, Bernice of Albuquerque. Mr. Gabaldon was past president of National Letter Carriers Association in Albuquerque and he was past president of Rural Letter Carriers Association. He was a member of American Legion, Post 99, the Elk's Lodge, and he was past Post Commander of American Legion, Post 72. Mr. Gabaldon retired after 37 years with the US Postal Service in 1985 and was a bailiff with the State 2nd Judicial District Court. Rosary will be recited Sunday, 7:00 p.m., at Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, with Deacon Bob Lewis reciting. Lopez -- Andrea (Andy) C. Lopez, 80, a resident of Albuquerque since 1961, died Friday, April 10, 1998. She is survived by her son, Lionel C.
