Booth -- Jim Mann Booth, a WWII veteran and for the past 30 years, a resident of Bosque Farms, passed away at 5:45 a.m., Thursday, February 18, 1999, at the age of 80. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Wauneita; by all of his children, James L. Booth and wife, Donna of Mesa, AZ, Ron A. Booth of Bosque Farms, David R. Booth of Albuquerque, and Kenneth D. Booth of Bosque Farms; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Mr. Booth was born in Oenaville, Bell County, TX on October 10, 1918. His family moved to the plains of Texas, where he grew up around Plainview, TX. Mr. Booth was inducted into the U.S. Army on February 26, 1942 and was honorably discharged as Sgt. Jim M. Booth on October 29, 1945. Services will be held Monday, 10:00 a.m., at Anchor Baptist Church, 3551 Highway 47, Los Lunas, with Pastor Jerry Dye officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. Pallbearers will be James Larry Booth, Roni Gerald Booth, David R. Booth, Kenneth Dale Booth, Richard Scott Booth, Michael Alan Booth and Matthew David Booth. Johnson -- Marlin E. Johnson, 70, a resident of Albuquerque since 1957, died Thursday, February 18, 1999. He is survived by his wife, Flora L. Johnson of Albuquerque; children, Darrell Johnson and wife, Betty of Seminole, TX, Jeanne Donovan and husband, Nowell of Ft. Worth, TX, and Nancy Jones and husband, Johnnie of Katy, TX, David Johnson and wife, Dana of Roswell, NM, Daniel Johnson and wife, Angie of Mt. Vernon, WA, and Ronald Johnson and wife, Raht of Denton TX; 11 grandchildren; sisters, Mildred Ryan and husband, Clayton of Paducah, TX and Betty Webb and husband, Charles of Canyon, TX; and brother, Waylon Johnson and wife, Joy of Plainview, TX. He was preceded in death by his son, Gilbert Johnson in 1988. Mr. Johnson was a member of Riverside Church of Christ. He was an employee of General Electric for 25 years. Services will be held Monday, 11:00 a.m., at Riverside Church of Christ, with Ministers Will and Mark McKenzie officiating. Trujillo -- Zeckiel Juan Trujillo, 68, beloved and devoted husband, father, brother and grandfather, was called home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, February 17, 1999. He was born March 13, 1930 in Grenville, NM; a veteran in the United States Army, and a member of Victory Love Fellowship Church. Mr. Trujillo was preceded in death by his parents, Abel and Eusvia Trujillo. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Dora Trujillo of the family home; two sons, David Trujillo and wife, Linda, Christopher Trujillo and wife, Billy Jo of Albuquerque; five grandchildren, Adam, Feliz, David Jr., Jackie and Joshua; two brothers, Louis Trujillo and wife, Helen, all of Albuquerque, Gabriel Trujillo of Midland, TX; one sister, Maria Sandoval of Albuquerque; and several nephews and nieces. Visitations will be held Sunday, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., in the chapel of Garcia Mortuary on the corner of 8th Street and Stover. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday at 9:00 a.m. in the chapel of Garcia Mortuary, with the Reverend Ruben Guajardo Sr., officiating. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Lohbeck -- Don Lohbeck passed away February 16, 1999 after a lengthy illness. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri, August 20, 1917. Lohbeck rose to reknown as a concert pianist in the United States and Europe until World War II interrupted his career. He moved to Santa Fe, NM in 1954. He wrote the biography of Patrick J. Hurley in 1956. In this book he disclosed publicly for the first time the details of the then-secret Yalta Agreement on China made by Roosevelt, Stalin, and Churchill. He later became a pioneer in uranium and thorium mining and other aspects of nuclear energy development. He was a pioneer in importing gas centrifuge technology to the United States. In 1958 Governor John Burroughs appointed Lohbeck to be the first Chairman of the New Mexico Atomic Energy Commission. He was an entrepreneur who started and operated several businesses. Son, Kurt and wife, Barbara; daughter, Michelle Britta and her husband, Paul survive him. Also grandsons, Robert, Roland and Roger Lohbeck, David Watland; and great-granddaughter, Ariana Lohbeck; as well as sisters, Ruth Cashion, Jeanne Riechele and brother, Alvin of St. Louis, MO. His remains have been cremated by French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE. Friends an family are asked to gather at his son's home at 1402 California NE, on Wednesday, February 24, 1999, at 5:00 p.m.

Lucas -- Mark David Lucas, age 44, a resident of Bellflower, CA for 17 years, died on February 13, 1999. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 19, 1999, 11:00 a.m., at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 431 Richmond NE, Albuquerque, NM 87106, with Rev. Chuck K. Collins officiating. Romero -- Manuel"Indio" Romero Sr., 64, beloved and devoted father, grandfather and brother, was called home to be with the Lord, February 16, 1999. He was born May 23, 1934 in Los Lunas, NM. Mr. Romero was preceded in death by his parents, Doroteo and Senida Romero; and a son, Ricardo Romero. He is survived by two sons, Manuel Romero Jr. and wife, Kathleen, Henry Romero and wife, Tina; two step-sons, David Gallegos and Herman Gallegos, all of Albuquerque; four daughters, Maria Soila Herrera and husband, Miguel of Albuquerque, Patricia Estrada and husband, Ruben of Long Beach, CA, Yolanda Solano and husband, Skip of Rio Rancho, Connie Barraza and husband, Gabriel; two step-daughters, Margaret Gallegos, Lucille Montano and husband, Louis, all of Albuquerque; 12 grandchildren. Also surviving are four sisters, Grace Ulibarri and husband, Jose, Josie Marquez and husband, Victorio, Betty Aritaga and Carmen Najera and husband, Jessie; and numerous nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by his loving family. Visitations will be held this evening, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., in the chapel of Garcia Mortuary on the corner of 8th Street and Iron, where a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, 10:00 a.m., at Holy Family Church. Tafoya -- Adelicia"Alice" Tafoya joined her heavenly father on February 16, 1999 at the age of 83. Alice was preceded in death by her parents, Pedro and Aurelia Lucero; her husband, Albert Montoya and later by her husband, Nick Tafoya; two brothers; three sisters; her daughter, Lorraine; grandsons, Al and Art Santillanes. Survivors include her beloved daughters, Arlene Santillanes and husband, Louis, Lydia Gonzales and Oney Apodaca, Geri Lee and husband, Charley; her beloved son, Andy Tafoya and wife, Michelle; sister, Minda Sachs and husband, Ben; son-in-law, Fred Herrera; sisters-in-law, Eloida Lucero and Lena Lucero; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; caretaker, Ida Herrera; many nephews, nieces, and many friends. Alice was a member and past president and treasurer of the Alameda Senior Citizens Center. Lucas -- Mark David Lucas, age 44, a resident of Bellflower, CA for 17 years, died on February 13, 1999. Mulbery -- Wanda N. Mulbery, 71, a resident of Albuquerque since 1948, died Monday, February 15, 1999. She is survived by her husband, Jack Mulbery of Albuquerque; daughter, Dorothy J. Patterson -- Mary Helen Patterson, born May 10, 1931, died on Tuesday, Feb. 16, 1999. She was retired from the Los Lunas Hospital and Training School after 20 years of outstanding service. She was also a member of the Belen Woman's Bowling league for many years. Mary is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Charles L. Patterson Sr. of the family home in Jarales. She is also survived by her four children, Charles L. Patterson Jr. and wife, Cindy of Belen, David Patterson and wife, Lynn of Albuquerque, Richard Patterson and wife, Lee of Belen, and Marilyn Baca and husband, Ramon of Jarales; 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Devila Gunter and husband, Ervin of Wheaton, MO, Dorothy Shaw of Belen; one brother, Tommy Pointer of Dardnell, Ark. Viewing will be held Friday Feb. 19 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Romero Funeral Home followed by a Graveside service at 3 p.m. at Terrace Grove Cemetery.
