LOVATO, CHRISTOPHER JAMES Passed away unexpectedly, was preceded in death by his father Bernardo O. Lovato. His is survived by his children Angelo Lovato, Jesse Maestas; his first grandson Jesse Jr; one daughter Deserae Lovato; his mother Pricilla Lovato-Lucero; step-father Benny Lucero; brothers Leland, Jerry, Danny and his wife Yvonne, Victor; and one sister Paula Bane and her husband Roger; Joanna Jaramillo; Benny Jr and wife Tammy; Margie and her husband Johnny. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. His wishes were to be cremated. Services will be handles by Direct Funeral Services and 10:00am, January 28, 2015 followed by a reception at the family home.

Services handled by Direct Funeral Services and will be at 10:00 AM Wednesday, January 28, 2015 with a reception to follow at the family home.

CHAVEZ, SUE KING Sue King Chavez passed away on January 7, 2015. Sue, a lifelong resident of New Mexico was born on October 11, 1914, to George and Aurelia Roybal King. She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Leo G. Chavez; one brother, and six sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Rose Kirkpatrick and husband, John; grandson John H. and wife, Yvonne Tabet; grandson Jason and friend, Cynthia Jaramillo; and her grandchildren Ryan, Kevin, Jane, John Leo and Jackson. She is also survived by her sisters, Anna Mae Vigil and husband, Ernest and Mary Glynn and 26 nieces and nephews. BLANKENSHIP, CORY AND JARAMILLO, CHRISTOPHER M. On January 11, 2015, we lost our precious Cory Blankenship and Christopher M. Jaramillo. Christopher Michael Jaramillo, born December 31, 1983, is survived by his parents, James Owen and Cynthia Marie Blankenship; and his children, Christopher Jaramillo, Jr., and Christopher Naakaii "Buddy" Jaramillo. Cory Blankenship, born January 11, 1996, is survived by his parents, James Owen and Cynthia Marie Blankenship; his children, Mia Miranda and Rose Marie Isabel Blankenship; and Isabel Tasha Price - his longtime love and mother of his children. Both are preceded in death by their sister, Miranda Marie Blankenship and are survived by their brother, Rodney James Blankenship. Both were loved beyond belief by their grandparents, several aunts, uncles and cousins as well as many other friends and relatives. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, January 17, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. at FRENCH - University. JARAMILLO, ERNEST R. age 55, went home to be with our Lord on Tuesday, December 30, 2014. He was a lifelong resident of Carnuel NM. In his early years he enjoyed outdoor recreation like bicycling and especially fishing. Ernest also had a passion for animals like his pet birds and cats. He retired from Albuquerque Public Schools after 25 years of dedicated employment. Ernest was preceded in death by his parents Ruben and Margaret Jaramillo also from Carnuel. He is survived by sisters Mella Garcia, Dorela Gonzales and husband Steve, Melba Jaramillo; brother, Marvin Jaramillo; two nieces; three nephews; two great nephews and one great niece as well as many other family members and friends who loved and will miss him. Following Ernest's wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no memorial services held. You will be greatly missed. We love you. Arrangements by Direct Funeral Services, 2919 4th St. NW. CHAVEZ, SUE KING Sue King Chavez passed away on January 7, 2015. Sue, a lifelong resident of New Mexico was born on October 11, 1914 to George and Aurelia Roybal King. Sue was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Leo G. Chavez; her brother, George; and six sisters, Ruby Chavez, Emma Chavez, Eloise Fernandez, Angie Silva, Rose Chavez and Sophie Romero. She was born in Watrous, NM, and spent her early years there and in Trinidad and Model, CO before moving to Albuquerque where she graduated Albuquerque HS. She married Leo in 1938. Leo joined the Army during WWII and Sue followed him to Fresno, CA where she contributed to the war effort by working on the B17 bomber production line as a "Rosie the Riveter." Upon their return to Albuquerque, Sue worked for the NM State Employment Security commission retiring after 30 years of service as Asst. Chief of Budget and Finance. During her career, Sue helped many young people establish careers with the Commission. She was an active member of Pilot International, a professional women's group dedicated to providing service to the community and the IAPES, an international association for public service employees. After retirement from public service, Sue was active in the Albuquerque Bridge Club and achieved her Life Master Certificate in 1986. She enjoyed oil painting and had a talent for NM landscapes. Sue was also a fantastic cook who specialized in Northern New Mexico delicacies. In her personal life, Sue was a generous, lively, quick witted woman who always had time for her family and friends. She was tolerant and open-minded and treated people with respect and understanding. She truly embraced differences. She loved her family and they loved her. She achieved her 100th birthday this past October and 65 of her relatives gathered to celebrate the occasion with her. She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Rose Kirkpatrick and husband, John; and grandsons, John H. and wife Yvonne Tabet and Jason and friend Cynthia Jaramillo. Sue especially delighted in her great-grandchildren, Ryan, Kevin, Jane, John Leo and Jackson. She is also survived by her sisters, Anna Mae Vigil and husband Ernest and Mary Glynn; and 31 nieces and nephews. Mass will be celebrated Friday, January 16, 2015, 9:30 a.m., at the Chapel at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 1900 Edith Blvd. NE. The family wants to thank the dedicated caregivers from the Beehive Assisted Living Home, Bldg C in Albuquerque, the Hospice Compassus staff, the residents at the Beehive facility and their family members who helped make her life enjoyable and complete in her last years. RAMOS, JULIO C. Age 89, beloved husband, father, and "Papo" passed peacefully into the arms of his Savior on Wednesday, December 30, 2014. He was born July 9, 1925 in San Juan y Martinez, Pinar del Rio, Cuba, to parents Cirilo and Lina (Padrino) Ramos. Julio began his professional baseball career with the Cuban Leagues in 1948. He then continued playing in the United States until 1956. Julio is survived by his wife of 54 years, Ruth; his six children, Julio O. Ramos, Lina Ramos and husband, Wilber Contreras, Yolanda Montoya and husband, Raymond, Carlos Ramos and wife, Lori, Sonia Montoya and husband, David, Teresa Ramos and partner, Emily Anderson; 10 grandchildren whom he loved very much, Annarosa, Tobias, Carlos II, Andres, Leah, Cristabel, Nikolas, Raymond II, Brandon and Sophia; one great-grandchild due in March; his sister, Emelina Lemus; sister-in-law, Grace and husband, Gil Jaramillo; brothers-in-law, Eddie Melendez and wife, Connie, and Manuel Melendez; and many loving nieces and nephews. Julio was preceded in death by his parents, Cirilo and Lina; sisters, Teresa and Isabel; brothers, Fernando and Juan; parents-in-law, Eduardo and Urbana Melendez; brothers-in-law, Ismael Melendez, Job Melendez, Fil Melendez and wife, Ena. Julio was a retired chef and enjoyed cooking for all who visited his home.
