BUTLER, JEREMY SHANE Passed away on February 20, 2015 at the age of 34 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He is survived by his parents, James and Debbie Butler; brother, Jameson Butler and girlfriend, Alicia Huddleston; sister, K' dawn Butler and fiance, Donovan McIntire; grandparents, Charles and Beverly Culbreth, James and Lore Vaughan, and James Butler; aunts, Janet Weresch, Shari Alonzo, and Janet Holmlund; uncle, Dennis Culbreth; cousins, Joshua Alonzo, Jordan Alonzo, Chris Weresch, and Lindsay Weresch; and many, many close friends. He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Orville and Mildred Rowin. Jeremy was born November 20, 1980 in Clovis and was a lifelong resident of New Mexico. He earned an AAS from Mesalands Community College. He loved the outdoors, especially camping, fishing and four wheeling. He was an avid reader and loved animals, especially his dogs, Luna and Odin. Jeremy was a loving son, a special brother, a very caring friend and an inspiration to all who knew him. He will be greatly missed by many, but he will live on in the hearts and memories of all those he touched. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, March 1, 2015 at the family home.

SANCHEZ, MIA FAITH (MUNOZ) Age 31, was born August 3, 1983 in Carlsbad, NM. Mia passed away on Saturday, February 21, 2015 in Albuquerque surrounded by those who loved her. She is survived by her husband of nearly 12 years, Jon Eric Sanchez of Albuquerque; two sons, Ethan and Charlie of Albuquerque; parents, Laura and Ruben Munoz of Carlsbad, NM; grandfather, Charles Wright of Carlsbad, NM; step-grandmother, Dorothy Wright (Sedgwick) of Carlsbad, NM; brothers, Frank Munoz of Carlsbad, NM, John Anthony Hensley of San Antonio, TX and Joseph Munoz of Carlsbad, NM; sisters, Dolores Pena of Carlsbad, NM and Savannah Munoz of Las Cruces, NM; uncles, Jimmy Munoz of Los Angeles, CA, Bobby Munoz and Eddy Carrasco of Carlsbad, NM; aunts, Jenny Wright, Lucy Yanez and Yvonne Saiz all of Carlsbad, NM. Mia was loved by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws, friends, and extended family. She is preceded in death by her uncles, Mike Wright, Doug Wright, Ernest Hernandez and Frank Zabala; grandmother, Rebecca Munoz; younger brother, Ruben Isaiah Munoz; and her grandmother, Pat Wright who was an inspiring ray of light to Mia. Mia was educated in Carlsbad, NM and graduated in 2001 from Carlsbad High School. As a young girl, she was involved in dance, cheerleading, basketball and volleyball. In high school, Mia was an active member of the Cavegirl Track and Field and Cross Country teams, Choir, Show Choir, and Powder Puff team. These accomplishments were highlighted by competing in the NM State Track and Field Championships as well as qualifying for the NM All State Choir. Her family was currently residing in Albuquerque, NM, where Mia was employed as a med group secretary at New Mexico Pain and Spine. Mia was a wildflower, a free spirit with a personality full of color and beauty with the voice of an angel. Her family knew her as their songbird. She was known for her charismatic charm, radiant smile and contagious laughter. Amongst her many passions, Mia enjoyed baking beautiful cakes, being a part of her CrossFit family, spending time with friends and family, and taking joy rides while jamming out to loud music. Most importantly, she was a wife, mother, friend, sister, daughter and granddaughter. Although we are heartbroken in losing Mia, the memories we have of her and her legacy will continue to shine in our hearts forever. The memorial service will be held on Monday, March 2, 2015, 6:00 p.m., at FRENCH Westside. HANN, ALMA C. (SELBY) Age 93, a resident of Albuquerque since 1948, died Tuesday, February 24, 2015. She is survived by her daughter, Lynda Hahn and husband, Dave; son, Kenneth Selby; grandchildren, Steven Hahn and wife Sarah and Michael Hahn, Nicole Alma Selby, Martha Baldwin and husband Dr. Ivan Ortiz, Keith Baldwin, and James and Marcus Davalos; great- grandchildren, Leon Abrams, Ivan and Andres Ortiz, Brooke Baldwin, and Jacob; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; and many friends. Alma was preceded in death by her husbands, Charles F. Selby, Jr. and James H. Hann; granddaughter, Sarah Baldwin; siblings, G.W. Collinsworth, Roxie Adams, Myrtle Howard, Curtis Collinsworth, Leslie Collinsworth, Delphia Howard, Peachie Howard, and Clarence Collinsworth. She was born in 1921 in the hills of Wheelersburg, KY and attended Berea College. Alma moved to Newport News, VA during WWII to work in the shipyards. After the war, she attended Charles' Beauty School where she met her first husband, Charles. They moved to Albuquerque in 1948. Alma continued to work in the field of cosmetology and put Charles through business school at UNM. She dedicated her life to raising her children and grandchildren. In 1985, she married James H. Hann and they owned and managed several rental properties throughout Albuquerque. Alma loved attending to her garden and her beautiful expansive backyard. She enjoyed playing with a neighborhood bridge group. Alma always inquired about everyone's family and wanted to know how they were doing. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Services will be held Saturday, February 28, 2015, 10:00 a.m. at FRENCH - Lomas with a reception to follow. Interment will take place at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, 924 Menaul Blvd NE. Pallbearers will be Keith Baldwin, James Davalos, Marcus Davalos, Steven Hahn, Michael Hahn and Brian Hughes. TEAGUE, CHARLES FRANKLIN Charles was born on August 1, 1952 in San Jose, CA. Chuck as everyone knew him was preceded in death by his parents Howard and Beatrice Teague and sister Anna Babcock. Chuck is survived by wife Orlina Teague; sons Joseph Duran, Charles, Isaac, and Joshua Teague; daughters-in-law Ann Duran, Fabiola Teague, Saylene Juarez, Ashlee and Angela Teague; grandchildren Jose, Angelo, and Dominic Duran, Caeley, Ciara, Isaac, Elisia, Alizabeth, Joshua, Jenavecia, and Avery Anna Teague. On February 22, 2015 Chuck lost his battle to cancer. On this day we lost a loving and awesome husband, awesome father, and awesome grandfather. Chuck was well liked and loved by all his family and friends. He also was very respected and looked up to by many. He is going to be greatly missed.
