Cline -- William"Bill" W. Cline Sr., 61, a resident of Anaheim, CA, formerly of Los Lunas, passed away on April 11, 2000. He is survived by his loving wife, Ruth Cline of the family home; sons, William Jr. and wife, Sharon of Texas. Thomas Cline of Albuquerque; step-daughters, Darlene Kuroda and husband, David of Hawaii, Kimberly Merschen and husband, Richard of New Jersey; granddaughters, Rachael, Erika, Sarah and Hannah. Also surviving are his mother, Mrs. Alice Cline of Florida; and three siblings, brother, Jeff Cline, sister, Rhonda Davis and husband, Tom, all from Georgia, and sister, Beverly Dennis of Ohio. Bill will be dearly missed by all his family and friends. Private cremation has taken place, a memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2000, 11:00 a.m., at Valley Lutheran Church, 3259 Hwy 47, Los Lunas.

Driggers -- Katherine A. Driggers, 65, a resident of Albuquerque since 1948 died, Friday, April 14, 2000. She is survived by her two brothers, David E. Driggers and wife, Charleta of Englewood, CO and Bill H. Driggers and wife, Tina of Albuquerque; four nephews, Edward, Douglas, Philip and Derek Driggers; and her loving dog, Archie and cat, Godzilla. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ellison and Elma Driggers. As a working member of the American Miniature Schnauzer Club, Katherine compiled the book of genetic eye problems associated with the breed. She enjoyed friends in the fancy throughout the country and the canine community in Albuquerque. Rosary will be recited Monday at 7:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, 8:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Annunciation Catholic Church, 2532 Vermont NE, with Fr. Ronald A. Bruckner, Celebrant. Friends may visit French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, Monday from 6:00 p.m. until time of Rosary. Landers -- Gayle F. Landers, a resident of Rio Rancho passed away on Friday, April 14, 2000. She was born on December 12, 1948 to Gordon and Clela Trimm Crawford in Gallup, New Mexico. She was a member of Paradise Hills United Methodist Church and loved teaching bible study classes. She was very funloving and outgoing and enjoyed sewing, fishing and loved her two canine companions very much. Gayle was a very devoted wife and mother and will be dearly missed by all of her family and friends. Gayle is survived by her loving husband, Cliff of Rio Rancho; her daughter, Denise and husband, James Bernsen of Albuquerque; her son, Curtis Landers of Rio Rancho; brother, Dale Crawford and wife, Gay of Movahe Valley, AZ; parents, Gordon and Clela Crawford of Bullhead City, AZ; her niece, Dayna and husband Jeff Gardner of Rio Rancho; and nephews, Stephen and Chuck Crawford, both of Albuquerque. A Memorial Service for Gayle will be held on Wednesday, April 19, 2000 at 1:00 p.m. at Paradise Hills United Methodist Church, 4700 Paradise Rd in Paradise Hills with Pastor David Snyman as Officiant. Interment will take place immediately following the Memorial Service at Vista Verde Cemetery in Rio Rancho. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Paradise Hills United Methodist Church. Franklin -- Col. Truman L. Franklin, U.S.A.F (Ret.), 77, a resident of Albuquerque, died Wednesday, April 12, 2000, surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Franklin; children, Michael Franklin and wife, Inge, all of Albuquerque, Kirby Franklin and wife, Marta of San Jose, CA, Kathleen Walton and husband, James of Louisville, KY, Gerald Franklin of Corrales, and David Franklin of Albuquerque; and grandchildren, Laura Franklin, Jason Franklin, both of Albuquerque, Dennis Franklin, Bonnie Franklin, both of San Jose, CA, Sara Walton, Abby Walton, Corey Walton, all of Louisville, KY, and Melissa Franklin of Corrales. Col. Franklin retired from the U.S.A.F. after 27 years of service. He worked as an engineer for E.G. & G. and eventually founded his own consulting business, T.L.F. Consulting. He was an avid outdoorsman and a true engineer whose hobbies included metalworking, woodworking and photography. Services will be held Monday, 10:30 a.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University NE. Interment will take place at 1:00 p.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Hertel -- Vaughn Alan Hertel passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, April 9, 2000. He was preceded in death by his father, Col. Rodney M. Hertel, who died in November of 1996. Vaughn is survived by his mother, Helen and by his cousin, Marlene Ketchum of the family home. He is also survived by an aunt and uncle, Jean and Byron Hobein of Anchorage, AK, and their family; by an uncle, Grover L. Taylor and family of Juncau, AK; another uncle, Dr. Frank Hertel resides in Denton, TX. Vaughn is also survived by many cousins and other relatives. He also leaves behind, Helen Peak of the family home, his special care giver for the past ten years, and his very good friends, Sally and Yvette. Vaughn was Down Syndrome and was loved by many people because of his sweet and loving personality. He had accompanied his parents on all of his father's military assignments. The family lived in many states and spent three years in the Basque Country of northern Spain, where they made many friends. The family chose Albuquerque as a retirement home because of the climate. Vaughn enjoyed bowling and belonged to the Silver Bullets Bowling group on the West Side. He was a member of the Silver Bullets Civitan Club. Cremation has taken place, provided by Sunrise Society. A private Memorial Service was held with Rev. David Snyman of the Paradise Hills United Methodist Church officiating. Arabadschi -- Stella Arabadschi, age 81, a resident of Albuquerque for 50 years, died on Monday 10, 2000. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Michael Arabadschi; son, David M. Arabadschi; sisters, Vicki Sisneros of Pueblo, CO, Lucy Gray of Lawton, OK; brothers, Andres Trujillo of Mosquero, NM and Nestor Trujillo of Bernalillo NM; numerous nephews and nieces. She is preceded in death by her parents Andres and Racquel Gutierrez Trujillo; sisters, Helen Montoya and Corrine Sanchez; brothers, Albert Trujillo, Steven Trujillo and Frank Trujillo. Mrs. Arabadschi was a beloved wife, mother, sister and aunt. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She was a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church. Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 12, 2000, Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, corner of Lomas and Tennessee NE, Fr. Michael Cimino, Celebrant. Sanchez -- Mary L. Sanchez, age 78, joined the Lord in heaven on April 10, 2000. She is survived by her husband, Charles F. Sanchez; and by her children: Bernie S. Sanchez and wife, Juanita, Charles E. Sanchez, Syliva Wortzman and husband, Paul, Paul A. Sanchez and wife, Kae, Elaine Fordice and husband, James, and David G. Sanchez. Her grandchildren are: Daniel Sanchez, Derron Sanchez, Dennis Sanchez, Kerri Sanchez, Keith Sanchez, Melissa Wortzman, Michelle Fordice, and Travis Grudelj. As wife of a Bataan Prisoner of War, she valued her membership in the Bataan Veterans Organization since 1942. Funeral Services for Mrs. Sanchez will be held on Thursday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church where the Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Daniel Sanchez, Derron Sanchez, Dennis Sanchez, Keith Sanchez, Lorenzo Chavez and Fernando Sanchez. Honorary pallbearers will be Kerri Sanchez, Melissa Wortzman, Michelle Fordice and Travis Gudelj. Visitation for Mrs. Sanchez will be held on Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. in the Mortuary Chapel. Sena -- Marcos D. Sena went home to be with our Heavenly Father on April 9, 2000. He is survived by his parents, David and Maria Sena; two brothers, Eric and Chris Sena; maternal grandmother, Olivama Herrera of Santa Cruz; paternal grandparents, Ignacio and Cataline Sena; paternal uncles and aunts, Frank and Judy Sena, Kenneth and Corine Sena, Tom and Debbie Sena, Barbara and Chris Briceno, Nash and Michael Sena; maternal aunts and uncles, Edward Herrera, Jose Herrera, Rosina and Tomas Martinez of Santa Cruz, Marie E. Brooks -- Donald W. Brooks, 70, a resident of Albuquerque since 1941, died Saturday, April 8, 2000. He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Grace Brooks of the family home; children, Linda Williams, Doug Brooks, Reilly Brooks, all of Albuquerque and Marjorie Molina and husband, Eloy of Grants, NM; granddaughters, Renee Carrillo and husband, David, Regina Chavez and husband, Sal, all of Albuquerque and Jennifer Molina of Grants; grandson, Jeremiah Williams of Albuquerque; two great-grandsons, Jevon Rodriguez of Grants and Athan Chavez of Albuquerque; sister, Elaine Fleming; brother, Glen A. Brooks and wife, Mary, all of Albuquerque; and five step-children. He was preceded in death by his son, R. Kelly Brooks. Mr. Brooks was a business manager and member of IATSE and a projectionist for 50 years.
