Manzanares -- Mr. Leo Manzanares died Monday in Albuquerque at the age of 92. Mr. Manzanares was a member of the Catholic Church. He was born in Buena Vista, NM on April 10, 1908. He is survived by his son, Daniel J. Manzanares of Aurora, CO; four grandchildren; sister, Mary Paez; niece and Goddaughter, Charleen Castillo and husband, Victor with whom he resided for 21 years; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Funeral services for Mr. Manzanares will be held on Friday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church where the Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Dale Gibbs, Louis Herrera, Ralph M. Paez, Charles A. Paez, David Castillo and John Castillo. A Rosary for Mr. Manzanares will be recited on Thursday evening, 7:30 p.m., at Salazar & Sons Mortuary. Youngblood -- Luella Davis Youngblood, 71, a resident of Albuquerque since 1964, died Friday, May 19, 2000. She is survived by her daughter, Teresa Youngblood of Albuquerque; son, David Youngblood and wife, Diane of Atoka, OK; and two grandsons, Bradley and Zachary of the family home. Graveside services will be held Thursday, 10:30 a.m., at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. Friends may call at 3300 Linda Vista SE, immediately after graveside services. Hoehne -- Charles Richard Hoehne, 68, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away peacefully at home in the arms of his loved ones, on May 21, 2000. Mr. Hoehne was the beloved husband of 43 years to Mrs. Sadie Hoehne. He is survived by his sons, Richard J. Hoehne and wife, Viola of Belen, David a. Hoehne and wife, Theresa, Andy Hoehne and wife, Wanda of Phoenix, AZ, and Jerry A. Hoehne; two sisters, Gloria Montoya and Esther Romero; one brother, Julian Ernest Hoehne and wife, Marcella; 11 grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. Hoehne was preceded in death by his parents, Julian and Teresa Hoehne; and a brother-in-law, Joe R. Montoya. Mr. Hoehne was born in Santa Rosa and a member of the Catholic Church. Mr. Hoehne worked in the grocery industry for 36 years. After retirement he enjoyed fishing with his brother and sons. He was very active with his church. A Rosary will be recited Tuesday evening, 7:00 p.m., at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1860 Griegos NW, with visitation after 6:30 p.m. Father John Jazinski, reciting. Mass of Christian Burial will be recited Wednesday morning, 10:00 a.m., at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, with final viewing at the church after 9:30 a.m. Father Aragon, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Richard Hoehne, David A. Hoehne, Andy Hoehne, Jerry A. Hoehne, Richard Hoehne Jr., and Ernest Hoehne. Jimenez -- Jesus B. Jimenez, age 65, born in La Barca, Jalisco, Mexico, and a longtime resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Saturday, May 20, 2000. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jennie. He is survived by his children, Annabelle Mora and husband, Edwin, Carol Dominguez, Thomas and wife, Maria, David and wife, Anna, and son, Mario; his grandchildren, whom he loved dearly, Aubrey and Celina Jimenez, Sarah Dominguez, Marisa and Jaquelyn C De Baca, Edwin Mora Jr., Ariela, David and Carina Jimenez; and his very special Goddaughter, Gabriela Rodriguez. He is also survived by his sisters, Socorro Gallegos, Esperanza Garcia, Soledad Jimenez, Enedina Zuniga and Alicia Arzate; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Jesus will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 24, 2000 at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, located at 5311 Phoenix Ave. NE. Burial will take place at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Romero -- Nicholas J. Romero, 65, went to be with the Lord on May 20, 2000. Nicholas was born on September 10, 1934 in Las Vegas, NM. He is survived by his loving mother, Ageda Romero; two brothers, Mike Romero and Joe Montoya and wife, Lala; four sisters, Mary Koteen, Antonia Lucero, Elsie Montano, and Mary Jane Padilla; also surviving several nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by his loving family. Visitations will be today, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., in the chapel of Garcia Mortuary, located on the corner of 8th and Iron. A Rosary will be recited this evening, 7:00 p.m., at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday morning, 9:00 a.m., at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 11:30 a.m. Casket bearers will be Richard Lucero, Peter Lucero, Joe Lucero, David Montano, Manuel Saiz Sr., and Manuel Saiz Jr. Honorary bearers will be Alejandro Sena and Amado Otero. Fricke -- Frank Chris Fricke, age 53, died peacefully Friday, May 19, 2000. He is survived by his son, Frank C. Fricke, II; parents, Marcellus and Maria Fricke; brother, Mark Fricke; and sister, Debbie Clark, all of Albuquerque; former wife, Margaret Gallegos-Fricke; and step-daughters, Joshlyn Gallegos of Albuquerque and Lesley Encee of Houston, TX; nieces and nephews, Jeff, Juli, Shaughn, David, Alexa; many uncles and aunts; and companion, Sheryl Ashley. Mr. Fricke was born in Los Alamos and was employed by the Bureau of Indian Affairs for 28 dedicated years. He was a loving son, brother, father, and will be greatly missed by all those whose lives he touched. He enjoyed horse racing and playing golf. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, May 23, 2000 at 9:00 a.m. at St. Bernadette's Catholic Church. Cremation will follow. Gonzales -- Albinita P. Gonzales, 88, beloved and devoted mother, grandmother, sister and aunt was called home to be with the Lord, Saturday, May 20, 2000 while surrounded by her loving family. Albinita was born in Gonzales Ranch, NM to the late Eliseo and Rosita Padilla; she was a resident of Albuquerque; a parishioner of Natavity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church; she was a very loving and caring person, who enjoyed spending time with her family, she was truly a person who loved everyone unconditionally. Albinita was preceded in death by her husband, Ramon Gonzales; two sons, Max Gonzales and wife, Helen and Richard Gonzales; three daughters, Magarita Gonzales, Rita Gonzales and Mary Gonzales; son-in-law, Eppie Martinez; three sisters, Virginia Martinez, Odelia Trujillo, Julia Bustamante; and two brothers, Benito Padilla and Diego Padilla. She is survived by her loving children, Erlinda Martinez, Leo Gonzales and wife, Millie, Willie Gonzales and wife, Gloria, Sam Gonzales and wife, Antonia, Ida Diehl and husband, Tom, Ray Gonzales and wife, Patsy; 31 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers, Eliseo Padilla and wife, Bessie, Dan Padilla and wife, Louise; two sisters, Agnes Apodaca, Flora Sena; and numerous nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by her loving family. Visitations and a Rosary were held Sunday. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated this morning at 10:00 a.m. at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 9502 4th Street NW. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Chen -- Yao Han Chen, 90, a resident of Albuquerque for 11 years, died Sunday, May 14, 2000. She is survived by her son, Kung Yao Chen and wife, Milan Lock of Brazil; daughters, Ruby Kung Yu Ju and husband, Frederick of Albuquerque and Rose Chen Chu and husband, David of Wheaton, IL; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Reynolds -- Rowena Larned Reynolds, born March 11, 1900, died on May 19, 2000. Mrs. Reynolds was an Albuquerque resident since 1971. She is preceded in death by her husband, J. Paul Reynolds in 1986. She is survived by three step-children, Rev. Dr. P. David Reynolds and wife, Wynelle, J. William Reynolds and wife, Delores; daughter, Gayle Rouse and husband, James; eleven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Mrs. Reynolds was a member of the Albuquerque Music Club for many years and also of the SAI Musical Sorority. She taught piano for years and was also active in the business world. Services will be announced by Fitzgerald & Son Funeral Directors, 3113 Carlisle Blvd. NE.
