Lind -- James Patterson Lind, 68, and a resident of Albuquerque since moving from Norfolk, VA in 1975, died on May 23, 2003 in Albuquerque. James was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Naval Fleet Reserve, and AARP. He was a Veteran, serving as a Master Chief for the U.S. Navy. James was a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Artie Lind, David Lind, and Andrew Lind; and by his daughter, Diane Lind. He is survived by his wife, Rita; son, C.J. Lind of Albuquerque, NM; daughters, Karen Lind Davis and husband, John of London Mills, IL and Pamela Dionisio and husband, Vito of Edgewood, NM; sister, Annamae Netopski of Ludlow, MA; brother, Marty Lind and wife, Jackie of Springfield, MA; and grandchildren, Carolyn Dionisio, Angelo Dionisio, Marcello Dionisio, Gabriella Dionisio, Virginia Davis and Johnny Davis. James is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many close friends. A Rosary will be recited Wednesday May 28, 2003 at 7:00 p.m. at Chapel of Sunrise, 7601 Wyoming Blvd NE. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, May 29, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, 811 Guaymas Place NE. Dudley -- Dr. James Nicholas"Nick" Dudley, 96, died suddenly Friday, May 23, 2003. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 54 years, Virginia Baird Dudley. They met while Nick was health commissioner of Roanoke, Virginia. Nick and Virginia married on November 20, 1948, and continued to live in Roanoke until moving to Albuquerque in 1953. Nick was a longtime physician in the Albuquerque area in affiliation with Lovelace Clinic, the Veterans Administration, and other local area healthcare facilities. He actively practiced medicine until he was 88 years old. Nick and Virginia were active in three Albuquerque churches: Immanuel Presbyterian, First Presbyterian, and Heights Cumberland Presbyterian Church. They enjoyed traveling extensively-including several trips to Europe, numerous cruises, and domestic destinations (their favorite being San Francisco) - oftentimes to visit their children. Nick is survived by his four children and their families: James N. Dudley, Jr. and wife Tonimarie; Kemper Dudley of San Francisco, California; Lt. Col. Robert Dudley, (USAF retired) of Memphis, Tennessee; and Carol Boswell and husband Greg of Dayton, Ohio. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Ryan and Zachary Dudley of Albuquerque: Laura and Scott Dudley of Hampton, Virginia; and Lucas Boswell, of Dayton, Ohio. Gregory -- Charles E. Gregory, age 78 and a resident of Albuquerque since 1946 died Saturday, May 24, 2003 in a local hospital following an illness. Mr. Gregory is survived by two daughters, Teresa Gregory of Albuquerque, and Sandra Riebe and her husband, Joseph of Rio Rancho; two sisters, Dorothy Johnston of Kentucky and Mary Poll of Ohio; two brothers, James Gregory of Ohio and Donald Gregory of Kentucky. His four grandchildren, Joshua Gregory, Phineas, Alicia, and Daniel Riebe also survive him. He was preceded by his wife, Myrtle E. Gregory who died in November 2002. Mr. Gregory served in the US Army during WWII. A viewing and visitation will be held Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Fitzgerald and son Funeral Directors, 3113 Carlisle NE. Funeral services will be held Wednesday May 28, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Fitzgerald and Son Funeral Directors with Rev. Tom Beach officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery with Joshua Gregory, Darrell and George Cunningham serving as casket bearers.

Nick is survived by his four children and their families: James N. Dudley, Jr. and wife Tonimarie; Kemper Dudley of San Francisco, California; Lt. Col. Robert Dudley, (USAF retired) of Memphis, Tennessee; and Carol Boswell and husband Greg of Dayton, Ohio. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Ryan and Zachary Dudley of Albuquerque: Laura and Scott Dudley of Hampton, Virginia; and Lucas Boswell, of Dayton, Ohio. Barlow -- Susanne Barlow, 44, a resident of Rio Rancho for 5 years, passed away on May 20, 2003. She is survived by her husband, Darrell Barlow of Rio Rancho; mother, Barbara Busch and husband, Morton of New Jersey; brother, James Carlo and wife, Pamela of Rio Rancho; sisters, April Knapp and husband, Ken of New Jersey and Toni Carlo of Brooklyn, NY; three nieces, Jessica and Elisabeth Carlo both of Rio Rancho and Olivia Knapp of New Jersey and uncle, Anthony Pakinkis of Albuquerque. Carraway -- Mary Elizabeth Carraway, born September 3, 1915 in Farmington, Kentucky, passed away May 23, 2003. She is preceded in death by her husband, Delmon Carraway. She is survived by one sone, James D. Carraway of Novato, CA; three grandsons, Jason A. Carraway of Albuquerque, NM, Devin Carraway of Oakland, CA, and Nathan Carraway; one brother, Raymond McNeely of Albuquerque, NM; two sisters, Betty Jo Johnson of Farmington, KY, and Trevadale Boaz of Sedalia, KY. She is also survived by dear friends, Ruth Carraway, and Curtis and Carmen Hudson. She was a member of Mountainside Church of Christ since 1975. A teacher for 30 years in Kentucky and Detroit, she retired in 1975 and moved to Albuquerque where she resided since. Funeral services are to be held Sunday, May 25, 2003 at Church Hill Funeral Home in Murnay, Kentucky.

Fletcher -- Evelyn E. Fletcher, age 83, a long time resident of Albuquerque passed away May 22, 2003. Survivors include her son, James L. Fletcher and wife, Leigh of Albuquerque, NM; daughter, Judith Overson and husband, Wyman of Fruitland, NM; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one step-granddaughter; three step-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Lee C. Fletcher; sister, Virginia Burt and brother, Arthur Marquardt. She was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd. Peace -- Thelma Naomi Peace died May 19, 2003. She was born December 21, 1922, in St. Louis, Missouri. Preceding her in death were parents, Harry and Ellen Huff; brother, James Huff; and husband, William Peace. She is survived by one sister, Betty Ives and husband, Albert, of Irondale, MO; son, John Peace and wife, Marian, of Albuquerque; daughter, Sue Toler and husband, Doug, of Las Vegas, NV; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Memorial Services will be held by the family at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in her name to the Hospice chapter of your choice.
