LUCERO -- Antonio J. Lucero March 11, 1948 - September 22, 2008 Antonio, a husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, coach, and mentor, went home peacefully on September 22, 2008. He was preceded in death by his mother, Maria G. Lucero, and brother, Frank Lucero. He is survived by his father, Albert B. Lucero; wife, Lucia B. Lucero; five sisters; one brother; children, Adelita Lucero, Antonio Lucero Jr., Alberto (A.Jay) Lucero, Monica Chavez, Eric Jaramillo, Joel Lucero, Leighann Charrete, Shanika Davis Lucero, and Ben Steinkamp. He had 30 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren who all loved him dearly. Visitation for Mr. Lucero will be held on Thursday, September 25, 2008 from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. at Salazar & Sons Mortuary. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, September 26, 2008 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church where the Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Louis is survived by his wife of 57 years, Reyna Arciero Maldonado; daughter, Eduvijen Vicky Moreno (Jose); sons, Robert (Irene), Barney (Cathy) and Thomas (Stacy); 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brother, Johnny; sisters, Manuela Valdiviezo, Mary Vasquez and Tina Jaramillo and Rosie Roberts, their spouses and many nieces and nephews. GARCIA -- Michael Anthony Garcia, 37, beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, nino and friend passed away September 16, 2008. LOPEZ -- Stella R. Lopez age, 69, a resident of Los Lunas, NM passed away peacefully at home on Friday, September 19, 2008. Stella was born in 1939. She was a member of San Clemente Catholic Church in Los Lunas. Stella worked for Gulton Industries retiring after 30 years of outstanding service. She enjoyed playing bingo, cross stitching, and puzzles. Stella loved her family very much and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Higinio and Gracia Lopez; brother, Max Lopez; and sister, Virginia Lopez. Stella is survived by her loving daughter, Sandra Mills and husband, Charlie; grandchildren, Brandy Mills and husband, Jesse Gulas and Kathleen Alderete and husband, Pete; great-grandchildren, Hailey and Hannah Gulas, and Gabriel and Jovan Alderete; two brothers, Alfonzo Lopez and wife, Grace and Felipe Lopez; four sisters; Lucy Jaramillo and husband, Ambrosio, Sally Lopez and husband, Fermin, Amelia Hernandez and late husband, Daniel, and Erleen Franco, and husband, Bobby. All services will be held at San Clemente Catholic Church beginning with a visitation on Tuesday, September 23 at 6:30 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. A final visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 24 at 9:30 a.m. with a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Los Lentes Cemetery. YOUNGBLOOD -- Boyce O. Youngblood, age 84, a resident of Belen, passed away on Thursday, September 11, 2008 at his residence, surrounded by his loving family. Boyce was born in Seagraves, TX and lived in Lincoln, Catron, Socorro and Valencia Counties, NM. He graduated from Socorro High School in 1942. Boyce was also an active member of the First Baptist Church of Los Chavez. Boyce is survived by his wife, Mayme Youngblood; children, Jim E. Youngblood and wife, Angeta of Bremerton, WA, Les Youngblood and wife, Lynn of Seattle, Wa, Barry Youngblood and wife, Chris of Bend, OR; stepdaughter, Margarete Smith and husband, Melvin of Belen; stepsons, Tommy Snell and wife, Sharon of Carlsbad, Billy Snell and wife, Roxy of Palm Springs, CA, Gary Snell and wife, Rue of Monte Vista, CO, Jimmie Snell and wife, Gay of Los Lunas and Buddy Snell of Houston, TX. Also surviving are 21 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. All services will be held at the First Baptist Church of Los Chavez on Monday, September 15, 2008 beginning with a viewing at 10:00 a.m., followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor Boyd Morerod officiating. Interment with military honors will follow at Terrace Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Melvin Smith, Billy Smith, Ronnie Smith, Matthew Snell, Gary Snell, and Buddy Snell. Honorary pallbearers will be A.R. "Tacho" and Myrna Luna, George Chavez and Zeke Jaramillo. JARAMILLO -- Larry Dale Jaramillo was born October 17, 1966 in Portales, NM and went to be with the Lord on September 8, 2008. Larry is survived by his parents Tony and Josie; brother and sister-in-law Tony, Jr. and Audrey Jaramillo; his two precious nephews Nickolas Lorenzo and Dominick Gabriel and beloved niece Veronicka Tonisha all of Edgewood, NM; grandparents Ernest and Angie Jaramillo of Portales, NM. Preceded in death by his grandparents Alfonso and Mela Villanueva, uncles Pete Villanueva and Tino Salazar; and aunt Nita Jaramillo. Larry loved watching movies, was a wiz at numbers, dates and loved going through the TV Guide and memorizing what was showing when. He loved being on a schedule and he made sure everyone else's watches were synchronized with his. He always said "thanks" because he was grateful for everything. He loved everyone.
