REPP -- Stanley David Repp, 75, a resident of Albuquerque, died Saturday, August 14, 2004. He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Adele Repp; sons, David Repp and wife, Debbie of Albuquerque, and Daniel Repp and wife, Shelley of Albuquerque; stepchildren, Wayne Pierce and wife, Laurie of Edgewood, Geraldine Morgan of Wichita, KS and Rose O'Boyle of Albuquerque; 11 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Roy Warren Repp of Avalon, PA; and sister, Virginia Hunt of Pittsburgh, PA. Stanley was born in Westview, PA and graduated from high school in Avalon, PA. After graduation he worked for U.S. Steel as a rebar draftsman. He purchased a United Rentals franchise and operated it in Ambridge, PA. After moving to Albuquerque he worked for Lofland Company of New Mexico right up until his death. Stanley loved to play golf and was known by name at Los Altos Golf Course. If you ever find a golf ball at the course which says "God Loves You," it was one of his. He loved God and loved to tell people about Jesus. Stanley is a member of East Gate Church and will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, August 19, 2004 at 4:00 p.m. at Eastgate Church, 12100 Copper N.E. with his son, Pastor David Repp officiating. STAGG -- Dorothy Elizabeth Stagg, sweet loving wife, and mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on August 13, 2004 after a brief illness. Dorothy was born on March 8, 1915 in Norwick, Norfolk, England to William Edward Victor and Annie Nichols Drew. She came to America to marry her sweetheart, John, in the LDS Salt Lake Temple on June 26, 1935. Together they have four children, John Drew and Suzzane Stagg, Julie Ann and Gary Dunn, Williams James and Judy Stagg, and David Edward and Angela Stagg. They have enjoyed 15 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren. Dorothy has always been active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints where she has served in the Primary and Relief Society. She is loved and appreciated by all her family and friends and will be deeply missed by all. Services will be held Friday, August 20, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Sandia Ward, Eubank Chapel, 4109 Eubank Blvd. NE. ARAGON -- Stella G. Aragon, age 79, a life long resident of Belen joined Our Lord and Savior on August 13, 2004, surrounded by her loving family. She was a member of Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church and the Blessed Sacrament. Her family was everything to her and she loved special occasions when they were all together. Stella was preceded in death by her husband, Antonio "Tony" Aragon in 1981; her parents, Salomon and Nicolasa Gabaldon; and also her loving brothers and sisters. She is survived by her four loving children, Nolbert "Bert" Aragon and his wife, Aggie of Belen, David and his wife, Janice of Cuba, New Mexico, Milli and her husband, Jimmy Gabettas of Idaho Falls, Idaho, and Randy of Castle Rock, Colorado; six grandchildren; one great grandson and another great grandchild due in September; one brother, Pat Gabaldon of Los Chavez, NM; and one sister, Louisa Ford of Belen. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and many long time special friends and neighbors. A viewing will be held on Sunday, August 15, 2004 at Romero Funeral Home Chapel from 1:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. with a rosary at 2:00 p.m. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, August 16, 2004 at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church at 9:00 a.m. with interment following at Our Lady of Belen Memorial Gardens. BARNETT -- Elizabeth Miles Barnett, 78, passed away on August 5, 2004. She was a long time resident of Albuquerque. She was a graduate of Albuquerque High School, Class of '43. She attended Grinnell College in Iowa, graduating in 1947. She continued her education, receiving a Certificate in Physical Therapy from Stanford University and a Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Southern California. She taught at Boston University - Sargeant College from 1958-1968. She returned to Albuquerque in 1968 to begin a School of Physical Therapy at the University of New Mexico, becoming its first Director in 1974. She then became Director of the School of Physical Therapy at the University of Colorado from 1978-1987. Upon her retirement, she returned to Albuquerque. She is survived by her two children, Phyllis Boyadjian and husband, John, of Albuquerque and David Barnett and wife, Loretta, of Sunapee, NH; a brother, Dr. James Miles of California; a sister, Carolyn Osborne of California; and five grandchildren, J.D., Leslie, Laura, Lark, and Cabot. She is also remembered by many nieces and nephews as a "favorite Aunt." She was an insatiable reader, an avid rose gardener, and enjoyed many varied and different activities throughout her life. BRIDWELL -- Mary Frances Bridwell, 81, went to be with our Lord on Saturday, August 7, 2004, following an extended illness. Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Jim; and is survived by their children, Judith Sanders of Quitman, TX, Ginger Huntley of the family home, and son, David and his wife, Natalie, of Albuquerque; as well as six grandchildren, Michael Sanders, Kimberly Crawford, Grant Huntley, Jessica Bridwell, Ryan Bridwell, and Mark Bridwell; and seven great-grandchildren. Mary was born in Anniston, AL and continued throughout her life to have deep roots in her Alabama heritage. When she was nine years old, she and her family moved to Dallas, TX where she later met her husband, Jim, when they were both working for an insurance company. Due to World War II, Mary spent the early years of her married life caring for a child while her husband was away in the Army. After the War, Jim and Mary moved to Oklahoma for a new employment opportunity with General Foods, thus beginning their life of raising children and job transfers, ultimately ending in a permanent home in Albuquerque in 1966 and remaining here after Jim's retirement in 1986. Mary loved the desert splendor of Albuquerque and always enjoyed returning home after their many retirement travels across the country. As a helpmate to Jim and a mother for Judith, Ginger & David, she exhibited all of the love and caring of a true "Steel Magnolia." Mary and Jim welcomed and nurtured all people who came into their lives, and she is loved and will be missed by all. The Bridwell family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to Presbyterian Hospice Services for their excellent care and support during the last months of her life. They were faithful and supportive and always went the extra mile. Services will be held on Monday, August 16, 2004, at 10:00 a.m. at French Mortuary, Lomas Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd., NE. HILL -- Nelda J. Hill, 77, a resident of Albuquerque, died Friday, August 13, 2004. She is survived by her husband, William B. Hill; son, Randy Hill and wife, Pat of Santa Fe; daughters, Linda Hill and Leslie Hill, both of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Karla, David, Curtis, Erica, Julie and Ashley; and great-grandchildren, Graham, Ethan, Regan and Jeremy. NOWAK -- Connie A. Nowak, 79, a resident of Albuquerque since the 1960s, lost her battle with lung cancer. My beloved mother left this world on July 29, 2004. She was born Constance Adelia Frost on June 27, 1925 in Bradford, McKean County, PA. She was one of five children born to Dennis H. and Gladys E. Frost. Connie was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters; Betty Frost and Joyce Munos; her two brothers, Leslie R. Frost and David N. Frost. Her husband of 43 years, CSM USA Retired Donald A. Nowak of Albuquerque died in 1990. She is survived by her son, D. A. Nowakow of Albuquerque. For many years, Connie was an employee of the Army and Air Force Exchange Service at Kirtland Air Force Base. A published poet. She was also the Qualifying Broker and owner of Connie's Realty in Albuquerque. A small memorial service is being arranged. I love you mom. I will always love you. Nothing, not even death can change that.
