Connie A. Nowak, 79, a resident of Albuquerque since the 1960s, lost her battle with lung cancer. My beloved mother left this world on July 29, 2004. She was born Constance Adelia Frost on June 27, 1925 in Bradford, McKean County, PA. She was one of five children born to Dennis H. and Gladys E. Frost. Connie was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters; Betty Frost and Joyce Munos; her two brothers, Leslie R. Frost and David N. Frost. Her husband of 43 years, CSM USA Retired Donald A. Nowak of Albuquerque died in 1990. She is survived by her son, D. A. Nowakow of Albuquerque. For many years, Connie was an employee of the Army and Air Force Exchange Service at Kirtland Air Force Base. A published poet. She was also the Qualifying Broker and owner of Connie's Realty in Albuquerque. A small memorial service is being arranged. I love you mom. I will always love you. Nothing, not even death can change that.
