JENNE, RICHARD DALE was born on December 26, 1949 in Marengo, IL to Anna Marie Irby and Dale Jenne. He passed away on December 24, 2012. He is survived by his mother, Ana Marie Jenne; sister, Beverly Cronnelly; niece, Allyson Cronnelly; and step-mother, Alice Jenne; and numerous cousins and loyal friends. He attended and graduated from the University of New Mexico majoring in accounting. He was a member of the KA Fraternity. After graduation he went to work for Carl Londene, CPA and eventually became a partner. After several years, he ventured on his own working as a CPA in Albuquerque and Los Lunas, New Mexico. Rich loved and collected classic American cars, clocks, old guns and Civil War memorabilia. As a kid, he loved racing cars. He was passionate about animals and had several of them over the years. He was a great friend and would do anything for you. A celebration-of-life service will be held on January 5, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Riverside Funeral Home at 225 San Mateo NE, Abq, NM 87108. 505-764-9663.

KOENIG, CHARLES "CHUCK" M. 1949-2012 Age 63, a resident of Los Lunas, NM passed away on Friday, December 28, 2012.He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Peralta, NM. Chuck proudly served his country in the United States Air Force from 1967-1971. He was a avid Minnesota Viking fan. Chuck was always a very hard worker and a devoted husband and father. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Ella Koeing. Chuck is survived by his loving wife, Angela; son, Mark and wife, Pam of Florida; daughter, Lauren and husband, Jeff Gerth of Missouri; sons, Michael and Matthew; sister, Donna and husband, Don Waletzko; brother, Frank and wife, Donna Koenig; brother, Jim and wife, Jeanna Koenig all of Minnesota. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. All services will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, on Friday, January 4, beginning with a visitation at 9:30 a.m. with a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be held at Valencia Catholic Cemetery. MARTINEZ, FEDERICO O. Federico O. Martinez, 90, a resident of Albuquerque, joined his beloved wife of 62 years, Anita Cordova Martinez, Saturday, December 29, 2012. He is survived by children; Ella Porragas and husband Samuel, Selma Luna and husband Frank, Mario Martinez, Marlin Martinez and Conchita Sandoval and husband Ray, grandchildren; Carrie Porragas, Garth Porragas, Mary Barry and husband Kent, Sabrina Zamora and husband James, Nathan Sandoval and wife Monique, Antoinette Sandoval, Jason Sandoval and wife Janet. He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren, Samy, Sabrina, Eddie, Hunter, Spencer, Andrew, Brian, Anthony, Brooke, Roxton, Reyes and Santiago. Mr. Martinez was preceded in death by his wife Anita, his parents, Celso and Domicilia Martinez, his granddaughter Bernadette Porragas and his siblings. He was born in Truchas, NM and moved to Los Alamos in 1956. He retired from the US Post Office in 1982 and moved to Albuquerque to be near his children and family. Federico served our country in the US Army during WW II, in the 517 Parachute Airborne Infantry. He was combat wounded in the Battle of the Bulge and was awarded the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star. He also received the European/African/ Middle Eastern Victory Medal and the Good Conduct Medal. Services will be Thursday, January 3, 2012, 11:00 am at Second Presbyterian Church, 812 Edith Blvd NE, with Rev Robert Woodruff, officiating. Interment will take place Friday, January 4, 2012, 9:00 am at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Friends may visit Wednesday, 4 - 7 pm at FRENCH - Lomas. OSBORNE, KENNETH LEE Age 53, passed away on December 27, 2012. He is predeceased by his father, Benjamin Osborne. He is survived by his three daughters, Antoinette Osborne, Alexandra Osborne, Krista Osborne and their mother, Angela Osborne; his mother, Emelia Hofwolt and step-father, Paul Hofwolt of Pierre SD; brothers, Glenn Osborne of Middletown, NJ, and David Osborne of Rapid City, SD; sister, Deborah Selland of Chamberland, SD; and many nephews and nieces. Originally from South Dakota, Ken lived in Albuquerque, NM for over 25 years. Ken was a caring and loving father and husband. He had a successful career in technology. Ken was dependable and reliable to his family, friends, and coworkers. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Kenneth's Life Celebration will begin with a visitation held in the Reflection of Life Chapel (Washington and Cutler NE) on Wednesday, January 2nd, from 6:00-8:00 pm. ROBERTS, BUDDY PAUL Age 62. a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on December 28, 2012. Buddy is survived by his mother, Rita Roberts; sisters, Donna Grantham and husband, Wayne, and Sandra Roberts; brothers, Alan Roberts, and Lee Roberts; many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews; lifelong friend, Jim Cave and wife, Chrissy. Buddy was preceded in death by his father, Don Roberts. SCHMIDT, CLEMENTINE L. VOCKE (CLEM) Age 90, passed away on December 23, 2012. She was born on October 8, 1922 in Dayton, Ohio. Clem attended schools and was employed in Dayton for a number of years before her marriage to Robert Schmidt. Clem and Bob made their home in Albuquerque, New Mexico, after Bob's retirement from the Army in 1965. Bob passed away in 1996. Clem and Bob had five children, Rita J. Schmidt Labato (husband, Frank, deceased), Robert J. Schmidt, Jr, Kathleen Schmidt Stratmoen, M. Francis Schmidt, Ann M. Schmidt. Clem's children called her "Mutti" a reminder of the years the family spent in Germany. Clem had seven grandchildren, Christina, Rebecca, Eric, Steven Stratmoen, Laura, Maria and Kevin Labato, and two great grandchildren, Elliana and Ryan Smith. Clem's grandchildren called her, "Granny Goose". That was started quite by accident when Christina was just a baby. The name still holds. Clem loved animals very much, most especially dogs. All of nature was a special delight to her. Clem's family would like to extend grateful appreciation to the staff at Kathryn House, the staff of Hospice de la Luz and Dr. Suzanne Pinon, all of whom provided extraordinary support and care for Clem and her family. Clem was a member of Sangre de Cristo Parish. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 3, 2012, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas. Recitation of the Rosary will follow the Visitation at 6:00 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection will take place on Friday, January 4, 2012, 10:30 a.m. at Sangre de Cristo Parish, 8901 Candelaria Rd NE. SERAFIN, KATHERINE "KATHY" 1949-2012 Age 63, went to heaven escorted by her guardian angels on Saturday, December 22, 2012. She enjoyed sports, music, reading and sharing a "Long Island Ice Tea" with her friend Rose F. A very strong woman has left us with hopes of being with her again. She was seen as a living angel who suffered for many long years with Multiple Sclerosis without complaining. Kathy was beautiful inside and out and loved everyone. She will be missed by all who knew her and loved her. Kathy is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Dennis; her two sons, Jason and Nick who were her pride and joy and you didn't mess with "Mommy's Boys"; sisters, Glenda, Gloria and Rachel; and brother, Del. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. All services will be held at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church, on Friday, January 4, beginning with a visitation at 12:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 12:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be held at a later date.
