NEAL -- Dewitt Neal Jr., age 69, a 20 year resident of Albuquerque, passed away Thursday, December 31, 2009. He was a native of Oklahoma City, graduating from Douglas High School in 1958. He received a bachelor and masters degrees from University of Oklahoma and was a founding member of O.U. Omega Psi Phi Fraternity. Dewitt served his country in the US Air Force. After his service, he worked with the Veterans Administration as a Rating Specialist. He is survived by Myrna, his wife of 35 years; mother, Stenola G. Neal; sister, Brenda Neal; sons, Chris and Michael Neal; grandsons, William and Morgan Neal; step-sons, Earl, Emelio, Eduardo Bennett; numerous other family members. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, January 6, at 10:00 AM, at French Westside Chapel, with interment to follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 1:00 PM. O'DELL -- Aaron D. O'Dell, 40, of Orcutt, CA passed away suddenly on Monday, December 28, 2009. Aaron was born on October 18, 1969, in Albuquerque, NM to Eve Stith (previously O'Dell) and Delbert D. O'Dell. Aaron was a 1988 graduate of Sandia High School. He went on to become a Journeyman electrician in Santa Maria, CA. He was the superintendent at Imperial Electric Co. in Goleta, CA. Aaron is a member of the Santa Barbara IBEW #413 and the Santa Maria Elks Lodge #1538. Aaron's biggest dream was to be a husband and father. He met his wife, Merry, and they wed in 1999. He put on a tough guy exterior, but inside he was the warmest, kindest, most caring, loving man you could ever have in your life. Aaron enjoyed staying home with his family and close friends. He was an avid New Orleans Saints fan, enjoyed cooking on the BBQ, volunteered at the Elks, and loved just sitting around the table, staying up late playing cards with friends. Aaron is survived by his wife, Merry, son Conner, and daughter Megan of Orcutt, CA; his father Delbert D. O'Dell, mother Eve (Michael) Stith, sister Allyson (Samuel) Leo; brother Robert (Laura) Ybarra; sister Ramie (Chris) Hilts; grandmother Cruz Ybarra; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. His parents, siblings and extended family reside in New Mexico. Aaron is also survived by his family of marriage, the Keetley family of Minnesota, who has always loved him as their own. OSTERHOLT -- Raymond Harold Osterholtz, 89, of Rio Rancho passed away after a long illness on December 31, 2009. He was born in St. Louis, MO, on February 15, 1920. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, June; son Robert Osterholtz and wife JoAnn of Rio Rancho; daughter Jean Noel and husband Mike of Tucson, AZ and two grandchildren, Darren and Lisa Noel of Tucson, AZ. Raymond served in the United States Army as a dentist for 32 years, retiring in 1980 at the rank of colonel. He was a retired Life Fellow in the American College of Prosthodontists and a retired Life Member of the American Board of Prosthodontics. POCHOP -- Virgil L. Pochop, age 74, of Albuquerque, went to Heaven on Friday, January 1, 2010. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Verna, four children, Tracy Knepprath and husband, Roger, Kelly Pochop and wife, Sue, Kara Schmeichel and husband, Donald, Jana Pochop; 13 grandchildren, Michael, Angela, Andrea and Brian Knepprath, Robin, Brendan, and Kendra Pochop, Erica, Jennifer, Catherine, Heather, Patrick and Philip Schmeichel; three brothers, Darrel, Roger, and Merle Pochop; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Pauline (Meyers) Pochop. Virgil was born in Winner, South Dakota on March 25, 1935. He lived on a farm near Colome, South Dakota and graduated from Colome High School, class of 1953. He earned his Bachelor's Degree from South Dakota State College, Brookings, South Dakota. His career began as a Civil Engineer with the Corps of Engineers, later working with the Department of Interior, Bureau of Indian Affairs for 35 years. Virgil was a member of Shepherd Lutheran Church (WELS) , having served in many positions through the years. RENWICK -- Richard A. Renwick, 87, passed on December 31, 2009. Born January 16, 1922 in Cleveland, Ohio to Glenn and Ruth (Lohr) Renwick. He was a proud member of the U.S. Coast Guard from 1942 thru 1946, and a long time resident of Cochiti Lake, NM, where he served 13 years on the Cochiti Lake Volunteer Fire Department, including 5 years as the Fire Chief. He was also a charter member of the Albuquerque Archaeological Society. He and his wife Katherin moved to Rio Rancho, NM in 1996. He is survived by his wife Katherin Renwick of Rio Rancho, NM; son Rick Paul Renwick of Colorado Springs, CO; daughter Robin L. Cummings and husband Tom of Rio Rancho, NM; two stepsons Cliff Couch and wife Charyn of Phoenix, AZ, Brad Couch and wife Diana of Mesa, AZ; granddaughters Alyson Couch of Phoenix, AZ, Mariah Lee Smith of Rio Rancho, NM, and Ann Loraine Paduano of Rio Rancho, NM; grandsons Michael Paduano and Anthony Joseph Paduano III of Rio Rancho, NM; and great grandson Thomas Joseph Paduano of Rio Rancho, NM, as well as numerous cousins and one niece. ROST-CROFTON -- Susan Jo. Memorial services for Susan Jo of Roswell, were held on Friday, November 13, 2009 at Anderson-Bethany Funeral Home Chapel in Roswell. Susan was born February 9, 1956 to George S. Rost and Jean H. Rost in Salt Lake City. She lived in Roswell for 17 years, coming from Albuquerque. Susan loved hummingbirds, going shopping and most of all spending time with her family. Susan also enjoyed and loved her job at ILEA. She was a very loving person who will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Susan was preceded in death by her dad and two brothers, Stephen and Gregory Rost. She is survived by one son, David Crofton, of Roswell; her mother, Jean, of Cedar Crest; four sisters, Linda Collins and her husband, Mike of Fort Wayne, IN, Sandy Rost and her husband, Tom Beck of Dolores, CO, Patty Rost of Dolores, George-Anne Hall and her husband, Buddy of Bulverde, TX and her many friends from ILEA and Albuquerque.

ROYBAL -- Estanislao (Stan) Roybal, age 92, a resident of El Valle de Arroyo Seco, passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2009. He was preceded in death by his parents, Procopio and Tonita Roybal; brothers Pablo and Leo Roybal; and sisters Mary E. Roybal and Ruth Baker. He is survived by his wife Lucia M. Roybal of Arroyo Seco; son John Michael Roybal and wife Anita of Arroyo Seco; daughters Theresa (Tisa) Roybal of Arroyo Seco, and Gloria R. Cala and husband Chuck of Albuquerque; grandchildren Estevan R. Padilla, Jessica A. Padilla, Christopher M. Roybal, Kristin M. Roybal, Lauren Cala and Lucas Cala; great-grandchildren Tatiana Padilla and Kailao Padilla; brothers I.M. Roybal and wife Margaret, Ben Roybal and wife Clorinda, Jake Roybal and wife Orlinda, and Remmy Roybal; sister, Lydia Trujillo; aunt, Manuelita (Mela) Romero; and numerous other relatives and friends. Mr. Roybal and his wife owned and operated General Farmers Supply in Riverside until 1976. A rosary will be recited on Tuesday, January 5, 2010 starting at 7:00 p.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Santa Cruz. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Church with interment following at 1:30 p.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. SATTERFIELD -- Vivianna S. Satterfield, 15, our precious angel, was called home to our Heavenly Father, on December 29, 2009. Vivianna was born on November 6, 1994 to Victor Najera and Victoria Satterfield of Albuquerque, NM. "Vivi" will be remembered for her outgoing and expressive personality, a smart and determined young girl, and for always wanting to help others before helping herself. Most importantly she will always be our loving daughter, sister, auntie, niece and friend. Vivi was preceded in death by her grandmother, Martha Anderson. She is survived by her mother, Victoria Blea and her husband, Ambrose; father, Victor Najera; sisters, Chantell Satterfield and her fiancee, Robbie Enostrosa, Sabrina Blea, and Selena Blea; nephews, Dominic and Elijiah Enostrosa; and many friends who love her and are missing her so much. SCHREIBER -- Mary Cook Schreiber. Longtime Albuquerque resident died peacefully at the age of 92. Raised in Princeton, New Jersey, she moved to Albuquerque after marrying George A. Schreiber, former Chairman of the Board of Public Service Company of New Mexico, whom she met in North Africa during World War II. Mary was an avid sports fan with a keen interest in the game of golf. Her oldest son, Peter F. Schreiber, died in 2001. Mary is survived by her son George A. Schreiber, Jr. and daughter-in-law Susan V. Schreiber of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, her daughter Mary S. Smith and son-in-law Dr. Christopher T. Smith of Sheridan, Wyoming, her grandson, Taylor A. Schreiber and her granddaughters Dr. Sara C. Smith, Catherine T. Smith and Hadley G. Schreiber. George A. Schreiber, Jr. is President and Chief Executive Officer of Continental Energy Systems LLC which is the company that owns New Mexico Gas Company.
