SACHS -- Martin F. In Loving Memory February 7, 1907-March 1, 1999 On a Monday, eleven years ago, the Lord called you home. It was difficult to accept, but knew it was God's will. I now know, that the ache in my heart will never go away. All the years that I lived at home you were always there for me. No matter when or where I needed to be, I could always count on you. You were loving and giving of yourself and your time. I married right after high school, leaving you and mom behind. Neither of you were idle, for both of you were in the education field and continued for the next twenty years. As you stated to me, once you retired, God gave you many more years to enjoy your retirement - and that you did. Late in life mom became ill, needing special treatment. I brought you home so you could be cared for. You were thankful and showed your appreciation daily You stated that you felt lucky. No Dad, I was the lucky one, for I had the chance to give back a fraction of what you gave me. You're in my thoughts daily and always in my prayers. You will never be forgotten, as I remain, Your loving daughter, Angeline Sachs Velasquez

You will only be going to a place where there's no pain and no suffering. I am happy for you, for you are with God. For now we need to go in separate ways. I remember how your arms held me and gave me strength. You were always there to listen, love and defend me in everything. You were and will always be my very best friend. Thank you Daddy for being you but especially for being mine. It's difficult to let you go but I must and I must return the gift God gave me.
