VRABEC -- John N. Vrabec, 91, passed away peacefully in his home on Wednesday, February 24, 2010. He was born in Chicago, IL on May 28, 1918, and resided in the Chicago area for many years before moving to New Mexico in 1980. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 70 years, Ann. He is survived by his son, John M. Vrabec and wife, Elizabeth; daughters, Donna Vrabec-Seuntjens and husband, Ronald, and Karen A. Tibbetts and husband, Rick. He is also survived by his grandchildren, John M. Vrabec, II and wife, Margie, F. Lisa Epright and husband, Chad, Dominic Naranjo and wife, Nichol, Justin Tibbetts and Jamie Tibbetts. John was also blessed in having six great-grandchildren, JeNee Naranjo, Marissa and Michael Gonzales, Michaela and Tea Naranjo, and Leah Vrabec; as well as other family and friends who loved and will miss him. Services will be at St. Theresa Little Flower Catholic Church Abq, 4th and Mildred NW. A Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. with a Viewing beginning at 6:15 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday March 3, 2010 at 9:30 a.m. A Reception will follow.
