AYOTTE -- Albert Louis, CORRECTED TIMES. Beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 6, 2009. Albert was born in Madawaska, Maine, on April 11, 1936, the first born of Patrick and Irene Ayotte. Surviving him are his wife Milli; his daughter M'Lee Beazley and husband Richard Beazley; son Erick Ayotte; and granddaughter Jamie Beazley and her fiance Jeremy Garcia. He also leaves eleven brothers and sisters surviving him. Albert was employed by Sandia National Labs for 27 years, and retired on April 3, 1997. A Prayer Service will be held on Thursday, December 10, 2009, 7:00 p.m. at French Lomas Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, December 11, 2009, 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Assumption, Lomas at Tennessee. Private interment will be at Santa Fe National Cemetery. BOLTON -- Dennis Lee Bolton, 66, a resident of Albuquerque since 1946, died Sunday, December 6, 2009. He is survived by his wife, Stellaretta O'Donnell Bolton; their children, son, John O'Donnell; son, Chuck O'Donnell and his wife Erin O'Donnell; daughter, Eileen O'Donnell; and their son David Lee Bolton and his wife Kimberly Bolton. Dennis is also survived by his ten grandchildren. He is also survived by his mother, Martha V. Bolton; his sister, Dale Hart and her husband Bob Hart and his sister, Deborah Mondick and her husband Rick Mondick, as well as 11 nieces and nephews and 15 great-nieces and nephews. Mr. Bolton is preceded in death by his father, Ernest Lee Bolton. Dennis Lee Bolton was a retiree of Sandia National Labs. Services will be held at Koinonia Coffee House, 10405 Comanche Rd. DE LEON -- Maria Dolores De Leon, age 74 a longtime resident of Albuquerque, NM was called home to be with her Heavenly Father on Saturday, December 5, 2009. Mrs. De Leon was preceded in death by her parents; her grandson Anthony; and numerous brothers and sisters. GARCIA -- Polly Garcia, age 79, a beautiful, loving soul was raised in glory on December 6, 2009. She was born January 26, 1930 in Ash Fork, Arizona, and resided in Corrales, NM for the past 17 years. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Gabriel of 52 years. Mrs. Garcia is survived by her sister Christine Martinez; and her seven children, Gabriel and Caren Garcia of Rio Rancho, David (deceased) and Kathy Garcia of Albuquerque, Catherine Ogdon of Los Lunas, Anna and Frank Martinez of Gallup, Robert and Barbara Garcia of Gallup, Patt Garcia and Robert Blasko, Diana and Paul Chavez of Gallup, Stephen Garcia of Corrales; and daughter-in-law Theresa Garcia of Albuquerque. She is also survived by her 14 grandchildren, Gabe, Joe, Rick, Paul, Sarah, Anne, Mark, Gabrielle, John, Bernadette, Christine, Robert Jr., Rhiannon, and Dylan; and 13 great-grandchildren, RaVae, Isaiah, Samiyah, Ezekiel, Elijah, Christopher, Breanna, Nicholas, Ciarah, Aneles, Julie, Desiree and Harmony. GILLIS -- Gerald (Gerry) A. Gillis age 77 passed away December 5, 2009. He was born August 26, 1932 in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia, Canada. A resident of Albuquerque since 1983. Gerry was a member of the Knights of Columbus for over 50 years. He was predeceased by his beloved son Joe Gillis. Gerry is survived by his wife of 52 years Domitella Gillis; two sons Daniel G. and Paul A. Gillis; a daughter Jane and husband Roy Hella; and two grandchildren Joe and Molly Hella. A private family memorial will be held and Gerry will make his final resting place in Canada. He will be greatly missed by all.

GRIEGO -- Lt. Col. Orlando H. Griego "Toti" retired US Army, (71) was born in Albuquerque, NM (April 10, 1938 - November 15, 2009). He was preceded in death by his parents Fred Baca Griego and Maria Dolores C. Griego and brothers, Fred B. Griego Jr., Robert E. Griego, and William G. Griego. He is survived by his sister F. Judith Griego-Ruth and husband Bob Ruth, and his brothers: Raymond A. Griego, Rudolph S. Griego and wife Lolli Griego, and Fred Griego III. He is also survived by his wife Patricia Gutierrez Griego, and his chlildren: H. Yvette Griego, Astra Stevens and husband Phillip Stevens, Natalie Griego and husband Norbert Chavez, Orlando H. Griego Jr., M. Jude Griego and his wife Noelle Griego, Yolanda Bush, Nicole Saunders, and Mariana Griego. He will be truly missed by his grandchildren: Dana Sanchez and husband Raymond Sanchez III, S. Jade, Rosendo, and J. Jacqueline Garcia, Matthew and Jordan Chavez, Corey and Jerel Stevens, Isabella Griego, and great-grandson Raymond Sanchez IV, as well as identical twins due in June. Lt. Colonel Orlando Griego served his country in the Vietnam War and in Desert Storm. He was also a US Postal worker in Albuquerque, and since 1970 he has resided in and has been a business owner in El Paso, Texas. Lt. Colonel Orlando H. Griego was buried with full military honors at the Ft. Bliss National Cemetery in El Paso, Texas. There will be a memorial service in his honor in Albuquerque on Thursday December 10, 2009 at Holy Family Church (562 Atrisco Dr. SW) at 6:00 p.m.

HARRISON -- Paul Duane Harrison, our beloved father, brother, uncle, and friend was born on September 30, 1942 and passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 3, 2009. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Camilla T. Harrison. Paul is survived by two children, his son, Sean P. Harrison; and his daughter, Teresa Elaine Harrison; three brothers, Mel Harrison and wife Diane, Gary Harrison and Tommy Harrison; as well as several nephews, nieces, and other family and friends who loved him and will miss him. He honorably served his country in the US Army, he raised his family, and is now going home. JANKOWSKI -- Isabelle Bernadette Jankowski, 75, a resident of Albuquerque since 1958, passed away on Saturday, December 5, 2009. Isabelle is survived by her husband of 53 years, Richard; daughter, Dr. Rebecca M. Jankowski (Paul Therkildsen); son, Bryan C. Jankowski (Paula Price); daughter, Catherine A. Schaeffer (Michael); daughter Jo Ann Millegan (Carl) of Kemmerer, WY; grandchildren Joshua K. Jankowski, Emily R. Harper, Jada B. Millegan; sister, Janice Bennett (Jerry) of South Bend, IN; and sister-in-law Mary Ann Rafalski of South Bend, IN. She is preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Mary Rafalski and brother Michael J. Rafalski, Jr. Isabelle was born in South Bend, IN, where she met and married Richard. They moved to New Mexico in June, 1958. She enjoyed cooking, knitting, sewing, and gardening, especially flowers. She also enjoyed spending time with her friends and prayer group. KITZMILLER -- Clarence "Skip" Albert Kitzmiller, 72, resident of Rio Rancho since 2006 formally of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away on Sunday, December 6, 2009. Clarence was born August 7, 1937 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Clarence was a thirty year retiree from the United States Army, retiring as a Sergeant Major after serving three terms in Vietnam and two terms in Korea. He was survived by children, Desiree Kim (Robert) of Rio Rancho, Horst Gruebel (Margie) of Garden City, Kansas; three grandchildren Samantha Kim, Travis Gabbert and Lea Kim; sisters Patricia and Peggy, of Harrisburg, PA.; and several nieces and nephews. LEMON -- Glenn Lemon died suddenly on Sunday, December 6, 2009. He was born in Delta, CO on April 10, 1934 to Velda and Ralph Lemon. He is survived by his loving wife of fifty years, Janice Lemon; his daughter, Tamara and her husband Mike Legendre, their two sons Gabriel and Nicholas; his sister Betty and her husband Bud Anderson. He was preceded in death by his son, Scott Lemon; his sister, Margie Hughes; and his brother, Allen Lemon. Glenn graduated from Borger High School in Texas and received a Bachelor's Degree from Eastern New Mexico University. He was employed At Los Alamos National Lab in the Engineering Department for 31 years. He retired in 1993 and retired to Rio Rancho. He was very involved with his church and helping others and was a strong role model for many young people. He enjoyed hugs and gave them freely to all. MAXFIELD -- Carl M. Maxfield, 79, passed away Friday, December 4, 2009 in Albuquerque, NM. Carl was born in Torrance County, NM, October 19, 1930. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Robin. He is survived by his beloved wife, Nahoma; daughter, Rhonda; son, Mike (Kris); brother, Ted (Jan); sister, Cathy; six grandchildren; two nieces; and one nephew. Being an avid patriot of the United States of America Carl served in the U.S. Navy always standing firm in what he believed. He served the State of New Mexico in the construction industry for 40+ years. Carl was involved in all aspects of construction safety and his friends and coworkers will remember him for his meticulous precision and pride in every task he undertook. Most of all Carl was a devoted husband for 36 years and beloved father and friend. His greatest success was in being loved by those he cherished. Following a memorial service and reception at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 12, 2009 at the 1st Baptist Church of Bosque Farms, Carl will be interred at the Garland Family Cemetery overlooking the Estancia Valley. NEWMAN -- Dorothy Evelyn Newman, 83, of Albuquerque passed away at home with her family by her side on Wednesday December 2, 2009. She is survived by her sons, Kenneth and wife Marra, Richard, Gordon and wife Kimberly and Jeff; grandchildren, Jeffrey, Corey, Christy, Sarah and Melanie Parsons and husband Dave; great - grandchildren, Rebbecca, Hayden and Brennan; Jeffrey's mother Susan Companion; brother, Clyde Compton and wife Maria; brother's - in- law, Vincent Newman and his wife Betty and Floyd Lewis, and sister-in-law, Elsie Screnoch. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Edward Joseph Newman. Dorothy retired from the UNM School of Medicine after many years of service. During her life she enjoyed playing cards, and had many friends in the card playing community. Dorothy had an amazing will to live even while tackling her extreme medical problems. A memorial service will be held at French Mortuary, Lomas location, on Friday, December 11, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. where friends will be invited to share memories. PELOQUIN -- Claire Jeanne Peloquin, 68, resident of Albuquerque, former resident of Pawtucket, RI, passed away Saturday, December 5, 2009 after a short illness. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Ronald Peloquin; daughter, Michelle; brother, Roland Magnan and wife, Rep. Veronica Magnan of the Maine Legislature; a niece, Rachel Kneeland and husband, Otis and their sons from Stockton Springs, ME; nephew, Sgt. Jonathan Cook and wife, Nicole and their daughters of Cumberland, RI; and a special cousin, Joyce Orr and her family of Pawtucket, RI. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo C. Magnan and Doris A (Bergeron). Claire was born in Providence, RI on August 4, 1941. She was a hair stylist who owned and operated the Magic Mirror Beauty Salon in Pawtucket, RI. She was active in the fundraising and support of special needs children and adults. Claire was a kind and caring neighbor, and supported animal rescue efforts. The family moved to Albuquerque, NM several years ago. Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, December 10, 2009, 2:00 p.m. at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, 5712 Paradise Hills Blvd NW. PEREA -- Maria O. Perea, age 58, born in Albuquerque, NM, left this life on earth to began a new life with Christ on December 6, 2009. Maria is survived by her husband, Louie Perea; mother, Lydia Gonzales; children, Lawrence Silva, Geri and Henry Garza, Yvonne and Richard Padilla, Rosie and Larry Draper; grandchildren, Annaliese Silva, Lou Draper, Francisco Duran, Stephanie Garza, Jag Garza, Jeremy Padilla, Nicholas Padilla; great-grand children, Michael Johnson and Ariana Garza; sisters and brothers, Bev and Ben Moya, Renay and Russ Matheson, Paul and Randa Silva, Carlos and Eileen Silva, Eddie and Theresa Silva; nieces and nephews and extended family. Preceded in death by father, Joe Silva; grandson, Jesus Padilla. Maria dedicated her life to the deaf and blind community. She founded the Zia Deaf and Blind Club in 1997. Maria was an active member of Calvary Chapel where she interpreted for the deaf in church as well as the Easter Sunrise Services. She also interpreted for President Bush's speech during his visit to Albuquerque. In Maria's short life, she volunteered, accomplished, completed, or spearheaded far too many things for us to list in this little newspaper. Those that knew her know what we're talking about and can testify to this statement. She truly was a blessing/saint to everyone she met. She will be missed. VIGIL -- Manuel Vigil, 78, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on December 6, 2009. Mr. Vigil is survived by his beloved wife of 24 years, Mrs. Virginia Vigil; his children Manuel L. Vigil, Orlando Vigil Sr. and wife, Patricia, and Annette Navarette; his brother, Phillip Vigil and wife, Nina; his grandchildren, Orlando Jr., Melissa, Jonathan, Joshua, Nathaniel, Selena, Estevan, Breanna, Ciara, and Marina; step-grandchildren, Francisco, Janelle, and Elena; stepsons, Larry Fernandez and Louis Fernandez; great-grandchildren, Natalia, Chantel, Orlando III, Arianna, and Alyssa; his beloved dog, Negrito; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family members and friends. Mr. Vigil was a Veteran of the United States Army serving for over 13 years and in the Korean Conflict. Mr. Vigil was a member of the American Legion Post 72; a member of the Los Volcanes fishing club; was an avid fisherman, and loved watching his grandchildren participate in sporting events. Visitation will be Thursday, December 10, 2009 from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Gabriella Nieto. Final visitation will be Friday, December 11, 2009 from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. at Santuario de San Martin de Porres, 8301 Camino San Martin, with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated 9:00 a.m., Father Leo Padget, presider. Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Francisco Fernandez, Orlando Vigil Jr., Jonathan Vigil, Joshua Vigil, Nathaniel Navarette, and Estevan Navarette. Honorary pallbearers will be Manuel L. Vigil, Orlando Vigil Sr., Benny Romero, Melissa Vigil, Dan Archuleta and Selena Navarette. WOMACK -- Garett B. Womack, 24 beloved son and brother passed away on December 7, 2009. WOOTEN -- Donald Wooten born to Ferman and Tressie Wooten in 1929 went to his Lord and Savior on December 3, 2009. Donald trained race horses most of his life, a list including many fine horses. He served his country in the Korean War. Family includes, children, Sydney Valentini (deceased), Ava Bickel, Griff Wooten, Brett Wootenand; their mother Lou Wooten; and Nick Wooten and his mother Pam Wooten; grandchildren, Brandon Valentini, Wayne bickel, Dow Bickel, Lynzy Wooten, Jacob and Josh Wooten, Stella and Ruby Wooten; great-grandchildren; Elise Valentini and Jeremy Valentini Memorial service to be held at a later date.

WORKMAN -- H.L. "Workie" Workman, age 97, passed away on Saturday, December 5, 2009 in Albuquerque. He was born in Edmunds, ND and moved to the Kansas City, MO area in 1930. Workie is survived by his sons, Ralph Workman and wife Maxine, Roger Workman and Larry Workman; daughter, Lou Ellen Staeden and husband Carry Charles; daughter - in - law, Gail Workman; ten grandchildren and 11 great - grandchildren. Workie was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 67 years, Laura; and eldest son Jay. After a 37 year career with Phillips Petroleum he retired to take up his first love, Farming. Workie and Laura remained on the farm until Laura's health declined and relocation to Albuquerque was necessary for family assistance. They took up residence at Manzano Del Sol Good Samaritan Village in 1994. Workie enjoyed the Manzano lifestyle and his many friends he had there. Workie was a loving husband, a super dad and granddad. He was liked and admired by all who knew him. He was generous and giving and always with a amile. A man "for all seasons" who will be greatly missed. A celebration of life will be held at Manzano Del Sol Good Samaritan Village Chapel 5201 Roma Ave NE, 87108 on Saturday, December 12, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be at White Chapel Cemetery, Gladstone, MO.
