ARAGON -- Ida Miller Aragon May 11, 1915 - April 30, 1998 Dear Mom (YaYa), It is unbelievable that you have been gone for ten years. The time has flown, but at the same time it seems that the time has stood still. So many things that have happened I wish you could have been here to see. Everyday when I get home from work I still reach for the phone to call you. I miss our conversations so much. Each time we play spades we are all reminded of the fun we had with you. Your unconditional love and continued support is also missed by Eddie, Tiffany, and Erik. We cherish the beautiful life that each one of us had with you. I continue to miss your loving motherly touch, and I am forever grateful for your inspiration as the most wonderful and courageous woman I will ever know. I live on with my gratitude to you for the memories, affection, friendship, guidance, love, and your ever presence. Hugs and kisses for Bosh, Mark Anthony, and everyone else you are with. Until we are together again, I love you mom. Kiki

BATES -- Jack H. Bates, Jr. (Casey), 54, departed this life on April 24, 2008, at his home in West Plains, MO. He fought a long and courageous battle with cancer prior to leaving us. Born in Albuquerque August 13, 1953, to the late Jack H. and Peggy Bates, he was a 1971 graduate of Valley High and an honorably discharged veteran of the USAF. Casey is survived by his longtime companion, Glenda Carr, of West Plains, MO; sister Julianne B. Knutson, her husband, Paul; and children, Kohl and Kassidy, of Orchard, CO: his sister, Jennifer B. Averill and her husband, William Allen Averill, of Corrales; and many good friends in NM and MO. Although sometimes a troubled wanderer, he was an artist with his music, woodwork, house renovations, painting, and beautiful housekeeping. We will miss him and send him love on the next journey; Life means all that it ever meant. I am but waiting for you, for an interval, somewhere very near, just around the corner. All is well. Nothing is past. Nothing has been lost. One brief moment and all will be as it was before-only better. Infinitely happier. We will be one, together forever (Kevin Healy).
