DOERR -- Nora M. Doerr, 80, went home to be with the Lord February 8, 2007. Nora was born December 6, 1926 in Farmington, NM. She is survived by her daughters, Carolyn Doerr of Albuquerque and Debbie Bryan and husband, Bill of Moriarty; two grandsons, Wayne Bryan and companion, Jennifer Burt and Greg Bryan; and her beloved great grandson, William. Nora is survived by two sisters, Jessie Lake and Bonnie Mahan; brother, Ralph Mahan and wife, Shirley; aunt, Mabel Peak and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She is also survived by her special cats, PeeWee and Noel. Nora was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Doerr; and also her parents and two brothers. She was mother and best friend to her daughters. Mrs. Doerr was a member of the Lions Club. Memorial services will be Thursday, February 15, 2007 11:00 am at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel with burial in Santa Fe National Cemetery to follow. Her family would like to express a special thanks to Team A with Vista Care Hospice. FERGUSON -- Dorothy Elizabeth Ferguson, 85, a resident of Albuquerque for 29 years and currently residing in Denver, CO for the last six months, died Friday, February 9, 2007. She is survived by her daughter, Cathy Allen and husband, Tom of Phoenix, AZ; sister, Freda Kolm and husband, Roland of Kansas City; and brother, James Mathes and wife, Charlene of Kansas City. FOWLER -- Thomas Justin Fowler, age 27, left us unexpectedly on Monday, January 29, 2007. He was born in Minot, ND on April 11, 1979 and traveled along with his military family to Denver, Albuquerque, Salt Lake City, and finally to Colorado Springs, CO in January 1995. He attended Doherty High School, where he participated on the swim team. After graduating in 1998, he worked for various companies including Qwest, Adelphia, and Hewlett Packard. He was passionate about all things electronic, particularly computers, and obtained several Microsoft and other certifications. From a young age he was curious and adventuresome and spent time on family camping trips and seeing much of our great country. He loved the ocean and moved to Clearwater Florida in the fall of 2006, where he and his roommate found a beautiful apartment overlooking the Gulf Coast. Tom loved people and was always thought of as the life of the party. He had a good heart and was always ready to help someone in need. He enjoyed bowling from an early age, participated in scouting and little league, and later in life came to enjoy fishing. He was a strong willed and independent person who lived life passionately. He was loved dearly and his sudden passing will leave a void in our hearts that cannot be filled. Preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Mary Alice and Melvin T. Fowler Sr. Survived by mother, Mary E. Murray; father, Melvin T. Fowler Jr.; sister, Elizabeth Fowler; stepmother, Pamela Heffernan Fowler; stepsisters, Jamie Gates and Jontell Heffernan, all of Colorado Springs; maternal grandmother, Betty Murray of Wheeling, WV; various aunts, uncles, and cousins. GARCIA -- Feliz Aragon Garcia, 93, died peacefully at Laurel Heights Nursing Home on February 3, 2007. She was born on March 7, 1913, to Samuel Felipe Aragon and Maria Francisquita (Kika) Rosela Toledo, both deceased in Peralta, NM. Feliz was preceded in death by her husband, Joe B. Garcia; son, Joseph Richard Garcia; brother, Jesus Aragon; and sister, Libby C de Baca. Feliz is survived by her brother, Frank Aragon; children, Mary Helen Holliman, (Bismarck, ND), P. Robert Garcia and wife, Pauline (Albuquerque, NM); daughter, Evangeline B. Copeland and husband, Tom (Tempe, AZ); and daughter-in-law, Joyce Garcia (Boulder City, NV). Feliz had ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. As a young girl, Feliz aspired to be a singer and was set to study music in Philadelphia when along came Joe, swept her off her feet and convinced her to raise a family instead. Joe and Feliz were married for nearly 60 years. Feliz lived a long and full life. A Prayer Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Febuary 11, 2007 in the Palm Chapel at Strong-Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Coal Ave. SE. The chapel will be open 1/2 hour before the Prayer Service for public viewing. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. February 12, 2007 at John XXIII Catholic Church, 4831 Tramway Ridge NE, followed by a reception in the church hall. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make a donation to your favorite charity in Feliz' name.

GUTIERREZ -- Emily June Gutierrez, died Wednesday, February 7, 2007. Emily was born June 9, 1940. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fernando Gutierrez in 1987. Mrs. Gutierrez is survived by her ten children, Tina Dages and husband, Tim, Martin Gutierrez and wife, Polly, Lisa Garcia and husband, John, Lynn Murrel and husband, Steve, Greg Gutierrez and Richard Spinello, Judith Gutierrez, Chris Gutierrez, Marc Gutierrez and wife, Julie, Matthew Gutierrez and wife, Chrissy, Andrew Gutierrez, and her sister, Dolores Lucero. Grandchildren: Lindsey, Michael, Manuel, Daniel, Jennifer, Antonio, Ariana, Marcus, an expectant grandchild and great-grandchild, Michael Jr. Visitations will be on Sunday from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday at Daniels Family Funeral Services - Garcia Mortuary.
