FOWLER -- Thomas Justin Fowler, age 27, left us unexpectedly on Monday, January 29, 2007. He was born in Minot, ND on April 11, 1979 and traveled along with his military family to Denver, Albuquerque, Salt Lake City, and finally to Colorado Springs, CO in January 1995. He attended Doherty High School, where he participated on the swim team. After graduating in 1998, he worked for various companies including Qwest, Adelphia, and Hewlett Packard. He was passionate about all things electronic, particularly computers, and obtained several Microsoft and other certifications. From a young age he was curious and adventuresome and spent time on family camping trips and seeing much of our great country. He loved the ocean and moved to Clearwater Florida in the fall of 2006, where he and his roommate found a beautiful apartment overlooking the Gulf Coast. Tom loved people and was always thought of as the life of the party. He had a good heart and was always ready to help someone in need. He enjoyed bowling from an early age, participated in scouting and little league, and later in life came to enjoy fishing. He was a strong willed and independent person who lived life passionately. He was loved dearly and his sudden passing will leave a void in our hearts that cannot be filled. Preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Mary Alice and Melvin T. Fowler Sr. Survived by mother, Mary E. Murray; father, Melvin T. Fowler Jr.; sister, Elizabeth Fowler; stepmother, Pamela Heffernan Fowler; stepsisters, Jamie Gates and Jontell Heffernan, all of Colorado Springs; maternal grandmother, Betty Murray of Wheeling, WV; various aunts, uncles, and cousins.
