HENDERSON -- Wilburn Henderson, 81, passed away December 21, 2007 in Jemez Springs, NM, where he lived for the past 15 years. He was born June 21, 1926 in Frakes, KY to William and Lou Alice Henderson. He served his country proudly during World War II from November 5, 1943 to January 10, 1946 as Seaman 1/C in Sub Repair: Torpedo Repair & Maintenance, and Demolition. He participated in the Battle of Leyte Gulf and Liberation of Philippine Island. He also served proudly during the Korean War on the USS Sirago in the Atlantic in Torpedo Repair & Maintenance, discharged February 27, 1952. He worked for the US Border Patrol, US Dept of Justice, Immigration & Naturalization from 1953 until his retirement February 22, 1979. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bettie Marerchin Henderson; parents, William and Lou Alice Henderson; brothers, Dorsey and Edward Henderson, and sisters, Ruth Ellis and Loney Cobb. He is survived by his daughters and a son, Maryalice Bourgi of Golieta, CA, Melinda Henderson and husband, Allen Holder of Las Vegas, NV, and Melissa Jaramillo and husband, Casey Jaramillo of Rio Rancho, NM; grandchildren, Brianna Castillo and husband, Antonio of Sherman Oaks, CA, Erica Bougi of Truth or Consequences, NM, Adrian Holder and wife, Christina of Rio Rancho, NM, Samuel Holder of San Antonio, TX, Emily, Iain and Abigail Jaramillo of Rio Rancho, NM; and great-grandchildren, Elora and Xavier Jacobs, and Amon and Babel Holder. He is also survived by a brother, Hiram Rufus Henderson of Vine Grove, KY and a sister Mabel Henderson Taylor of Frakes, KY. HERRERA -- Roy Herrera, was called home to be with Our Lord on December 26, 2007 with his family by his side. Roy is preceded in death by his father, Julian P. Herrera and son, Richard Herrera. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary; son, Albert and wife, Katherine and granddaughter, Ankara Herrera; step-children, Michelle Barr and husband, Jeff, John Pricer and wife, Melanie and grandson, Scot Pricer. His mother, Charlotte Herrera; brother, Julian Herrera; sisters, Joann Raylea and husband, Michael, Esther Montano and husband, Donald and Olga Toledo and husband Bobby. Roy also has numerous aunts, nephews, nieces, and cousins that survive him. Roy proudly served his country in the United States Army. Roy began his career at ACF and retired from General Electric after 32 years of service. He was an avid University of New Mexico Lobo and Dallas Cowboy fan. Roy enjoyed fishing, hunting and being in the outdoors, but most of all he loved being with his family. He will be greatly missed by his loving family. Visitations will be held Sunday, December 30, 2007 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Carlisle Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services. JACOT-GUILLARMOD -- Lorraine Mary Jacot-Guillarmod, 82, succumbed to cancer and passed away Friday December 29, 2007. She was born August 1, 1925 in Summit, NJ to Tunis and Lillian Vreeland and grew up in Belleville, NJ with her sister Lilliian and brother Dan who preceded her in death. She was a Realtor in Toms River. She moved from Toms River, NJ to New Mexico in 1976 with a short time spent in various locations in Arizona as a realtor. She resided in Rio Rancho for a number of years before living for a short time in Albuq. and Edgewood. She is survived by four sons and one daughter and their families. John and wife Patty of No. Plainfield, NJ; grandson Shawn and wife Gretchen; and great-grandson Ean of No. Plainfield, NJ; granddaughter Kristie Wnuk and husband Dave; great-granddaughter Baylee of No. Plainfield, NJ; son Daniel and wife Ruth; and granddaughter Nicole of Cedar Crest; grandson Steven of Albuq.; son Dave and grandsons Isaiah and Michael of Albuq.; daughter Rainy Hillis and husband Mark and grandson Trever of Edgewood, granddaughter Shealynn of Orlando, Fl.; son Peter of Seattle, Wa. and grandson Patrick and granddaughters Brandy and Monique. Lorraine was preceded in death by her husband Jack in 1993 and is also survived by her sister-in-law Simone Jacot-Guillarmod of Rio Rancho, NM. Private services were held at bedside. The family wishes to thank all those in taking care of Lorraine during her illness: Albuquerque Care Center special thanks to Judy, Tammy, Ellen, Ruth and many others, Vista Care workers Rosalyn, Louella and Colin. JOHNSON -- Robert "Bob" Edwin Johnson, 84, passed away Sunday, December 23, 2007 in the presence of his loving family. Born June 19, 1923 in Osage City, KS to Arthur and Blanche Johnson. Robert graduated from Ruskin High School, Kansas City, MO. He enrolled at the University of Alabama and in 1943 enlisted in Army Air Corp. Aviation Cadet training. Robert was commissioned in May 1944 to 2nd Lieutenant and entered Pilot Training at Williams AFB, Arizona. He was a senior flight instructor with over 5000 hours in various single engine jets, Conventional twin and four engine as well as civilian single and twin engines. Robert attended Air Command and Staff School and Squadron Officers School at Maxwell AFB, Alabama, also Air University Senior Officers Aerospace Management. He Served in served in many capacities during his 24 years in the Air Force. To name a few; Chief Tactical Air Systems Officer at Directorate of Nuclear Safety, Sandia Base, NM, Nuclear Briefing Offices, Atomic Weapons Training Group, Defense Atomic Support Agency, Albuquerque, NM, Staff Officer, Headquarters 22nd AF Military Airlift Command, Norton AFB, CA., Flight Instructor, Squadron Officers School, Maxwell AFB Alabama, and Base Adjutant, Laquers AFB, Azores. Robert is survived by his daughters, Lana Carver and husband, George, JoEllen Acosta and husband, Clovis, Barbara Lingle; grandchildren, Liz Acosta, Missy Bianco, Krista Sakata, Lea Lindstrom and George Carver III; and six great-grandchildren. KEATON -- James Thomas Keaton, 83, died Wednesday, December 26, 2007 at his home. A resident of Albuquerque for thirty years, he is survived by his beloved wife of ten years, Marla Parks Keaton. Mr. Keaton was born on November 23, 1924 in Milan, Tennessee to George and Mary Keaton and migrated to Winslow, Arizona in 1937 where his father found work with the Santa Fe Railroad. After graduating from Winslow High School in 1942, Mr. Keaton joined the US Navy, serving proudly during WWII as a radio operator and gunner in the South Pacific. He received a degree in political science from California State Polytechnic College in San Luis Obispo, California in 1951, joining the FBI upon graduation where he worked until 1956 when he accepted a position with General Motor's Oldsmobile Division in Lansing, Michigan. Over the course of his thirty-year career with GM, Mr. Keaton, an expert in personnel and labor relations, held numerous management positions, retiring in 1977. While in Albuquerque, Mr. Keaton launched a second career, serving as Personnel Director at the University of New Mexico Hospital from 1977 until 1989. During retirement he enjoyed golf as a member of the Tanoan Country Club and the Rotary and served on the New Mexico State Labor Relations Board from 1993 to 1996. Mr. Keaton was preceded in death by former wife Lora Smith Keaton in 1996. Other survivors include two children, James T. Keaton, Jr. and wife, Karen of Peoria, Arizona and Kathryn L. McLain and husband, Larry of Chicago, Illinois; two step-children, Cindy Bullington and husband, Robert of Phoenix, Arizona and Mike Smith and wife, Lynda also of Arizona; four grandchildren, Jennifer Keaton, Kristeen McLain, Erin McLain, Matthew McLain and wife, Lucy; four step-grandchildren Bobby, Catherine and Susan Bullington and Nick, Tim, and Sarah Smith; and, three great-grandchildren, Hazel, Myles, and Elsie McLain. Also among survivors are two brothers, Robert H. Keaton and wife, Cathryn of Apple Valley, California and Bill Keaton and wife, Lee of Tucson, Arizona. A Memorial Service to celebrate Mr. Keaton's life is scheduled for Wednesday, January 2, 2008, 2:00 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 215 Locust, NE. KOEGLER -- Audrey Ortrun Elisabeth Koegler (formerly Alt), passed away December 21, 2007. She was born November 5, 1943 in Hamm, Germany. She is survived by children, Dorraine Richers and family, Diana Dirickson and family and Robert Koegler, Jr. and family. LACEY -- Milton F. Lacey passed away at Parkview Hospital in Pueblo, CO, on December 25, 2007, as a result of complications from a yard accident in September. Milt served in the United States Army as a corporal in the signal corps and was honorably discharged from the reserves in 1960. He retired from American Telephone and Telegraph -Long Lines after 39 years as an operations supervisor. He served as a volunteer fire chief for two terms in the Paradise Hills Volunteer Fire Department in Bernalillo County, N.M., and served as a volunteer paramedic who graduated from the second paramedic academy offered in the State of New Mexico. He was an active community and neighborhood volunteer in many capacities both in Albuquerque and in Pueblo. He and his wife lived for over 43years in the Albuquerque area before relocating to Pueblo, for the last 9 years. Milt touched many hearts and was the nucleus of his family. He spent all of his life being a role model for his children and others and dedicated his later life to spending time with his grandchildren and family. He loved to work outdoors and was very active. In his younger years he was an avid big game hunter and loved camping. Milt is survived by his wife of 52 years, Marlene; sons, Brett T. Lacey (fiancee, Janell Clothier) and Scott W. (Rita) Lacey; grandchildren, Michael, Logan and Keagan of Colorado Springs, CO, Natasha and Austin of Greenbrier, AR; sisters, June Yurko of LaMar, Calif. and Neita Britt of Olympia, WA; and brother, Bernard Lacey of Boise, ID. Memorial Service, 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 2, 2008, in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel, 1317 N. Main St., in Pueblo, followed by military honors by Pueblo Veterans' Ritual Team. LASATER -- Priscilla Lasater, age 67, was called home to be with our Lord on December 23rd, 2007 in Albuquerque. She was born February 13, 1940. She is preceded in death by her husband, Buddy Lasater; her parents, Frank and Manuelita Lujan; and brothers, Johnny, Phil, Leroy, and Frank Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Amanda Lasater; her son, Daniel Lasater; her daughter-in-law, Carla Lasater; and her only precious grandson, Isaiah Lasater. She is also survived by her sisters, Marcella, Francis, Ilene, and Eloida; and brother, Remaldo; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. Priscilla also loved her beloved dog, "Pepper." In her last days alive, we had the honor to witness God's grace and love through Priscilla's spirit. She loved the Lord. We will greatly miss her. We have comfort in knowing she was saved and is in Heaven with her loving Savior. With God's promise of Salvation, we know that we will all be together again someday. "We love you Priscilla, and we will miss you everyday of our lives." She will be in our hearts forever. A Celebration and Memorial Service in her honor will take place on January 3, 2008 at Calvary Chapel of Albuquerque, 4001 Osuna Rd. NE, at 6:30 p.m.

LAVEZO -- Laurence Anthony, age 48 of Albuquerque, passed away Thursday December 27, 2007. Laurence was born on February 1, 1959 in El Centro, CA. to Warren and Ann Lavezo. He married Luz Torres on February 10, 1979 in San Diego, CA. Laurence served with the Veterans Medical Center in Albuquerque as a Clinical Pharmacist for the past 17 years. He was passionate about his work with veterans and their care. He enjoyed running and was an avid San Diego Charger fan "Go Bolts!!". Of his many accomplishments he was really proud of completion of The Duke City Marathon in 2004. He was a dedicated husband, father and son and was a great supporter of his daughter's personal, academic and athletic accomplishments. He enjoyed gardening and the many beaches the family visited. Surviving is his wife of 28 years Luz; his daughters, Laura and Leah Lavezo of the home; his mother Ann Lavezo of Albuquerque; his brother, Stephen Lavezo and his wife Lynn of Denton, TX; sister, Christiane LoCascio of San Diego, CA; several nieces and nephews, as well as several brother and sisters-in-laws. He was preceded in death by his father Warren in 2002. A rosary service will be recited Thursday, January 3, 2008, at 7:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 4, 2008, at Risen Savior Catholic Community, 7701 Wyoming Blvd. NE. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
