MARQUEZ -- Larry A. Marquez, 54, a resident of Seboyeta, New Mexico passed away on December 23, 2007, and is now in Heaven with our Lord. Larry is the beloved father to Paul Marquez and wife, Liz, Jessica Marquez and companion, Rodney Holmes. Larry is also survived by his mother, Nora Marquez; two sisters, Jo Ann Garcia and husband, Salvador, Betty Maestas and husband, Lee; two brothers, Euselio Marquez and wife, Freda, Eddie Marquez and companion, Anna Anaya; his companion, Ruby Marquez and her children, Melissa and Jason; the mother of his children, Elvira Montano and husband, Samuel; his grandchildren, Kevin, Brian, Shawn, Joshua, Tyler, Caleb, Mercedez and Camren; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Larry was preceded in death by his father, Serafin Marquez and a sister, Cecilia Marquez. Larry was a member of the Catholic Church. Visitation for Larry will be Wednesday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Seboyeta with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Final visitation will be Thursday morning from 10:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Church with Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. by Father Alberto Avilla. Interment will follow at the Seboyeta Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Kevin Marquez, Craig Garcia, Travis Maestas, Archie Ray Marquez, Eddy Marquez and Efren Romero. Honorary pallbearers will be his grandchildren; and friends, Harry Barnes Jr., Armando Cordova, Cecilia Garcia, Edward Michael, Ricky Marquez, Claudette Romero and Claudio Romero and many other friends. MOLINA -- Joey E. June 10, 1965 - July 28, 2007 GRIEVE NOT Grieve not when I have gone away, but think of wonderful days I was allowed to stay, to be with my family, other loved ones, and friends. Many thanks to all who gave me courage to go on when the mountains seemed too high, and I did not feel very strong. I know I often made mistakes, but please know that I tried to give more than I would take. I love each of you with all my heart, so remember only the happy times before we had to part. PEREA -- Johnnie Perea Sr., a resident of Los Lunas, New Mexico passed away in an Albuquerque Hospital on Friday, December 21, 2007. He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Peralta, NM. Johnnie had a long outstanding career as a Valencia County Deputy Sheriff retiring from the Department after 32 years of dedicated service. He was an avid outdoorsman and when he went hunting, fishing, or camping it was always with his family. Johnnie was the center of his family and he will be dearly missed by all. He is preceded in death by his son, Michael; parents, Ruben Peralta and Mercedes Moya Perea; three brothers, Eliseo, Frank, and Clovis Perea; one sister, Mary Torres; and his maternal grandmother, Elijah "Eita" Moya. Johnnie is survived by his loving companion of 28 years, Velma Hardesty; his dear friend and loving mother of his children, Mela Otero Perea; eleven loving children, Tranquilino, Berto, Ruben, Johnny Jr. and Kathy, Leonard and his wife, Betty, Ed Hardesty and his wife, Kerri, Ofelia Diaz and her husband, Johnny, Scott Hardesty and Lori, Catherine Jojola and her husband, Pat, Michelle Gallegos and her husband, Tim, and Carlos Perea and his wife, Christine; nineteen grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren with one on the way; one brother-in-law, Santiago Torres; and one sister-in-law, Rosaleen Perea. He is also survived by his many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family would like to give a special thank you to all the staff at the Los Lunas Dialysis Center. All services will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Peralta beginning with a viewing on Wednesday, December 26 at 6:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. A final visitation will be held on Thursday, December 27 at 9:30 a.m. with a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. with Father Hoi Tran officiating. Interment will follow at Valencia Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Anthony, Christopher, Dominic, Jon Michael and Rumaldo Perea, Patrick Jojola, Justin Hardesty, and Josh Gallegos. PFAFF -- Charlotte E. Pfaff, 89, died December 23, 2007. Born at the family farm near Amsterdam, Idaho she moved to New Mexico in 1942 residing in Las Vegas, Santa Fe, Los Alamos, Albuquerque, Pajarito Village and Corrales. Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents, Charles A. and Celeste R. (Sligar) Human, husband Daniel Pfaff, daughter Barbara E. Pfaff, and granddaughter Ashlee G. Pfaff. She is survived by her sons Norman Pfaff (Janice), and Richard Pfaff (Jan), five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Her family appreciates the gracious care she received from the staff of the memory unit at Sandia Springs Senior Living Community and the services of SolAmor Hospice. Arrangements are being handled by Direct Cremation & Burial Services. A memorial service will scheduled after the holidays. ROBINSON -- Steven Michael Robinson, age 55, died Wednesday, December 19th, 2007 at the New Mexico VA Medical Center, after a long and brave effort to recover from pneumonia and complications from a massive stroke. He was born February 20, 1952 in Indianapolis, IN to James Thomas and Barbara Joan (Lawrence) Robinson. Steve was a graduate of Zionsville High School (IN) and honorably served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War. Upon returning to civilian life he entered the construction trade. He was a long-time resident of Albuquerque and a sometime resident of Phoenix, AZ. Steve was loved and will be missed by his wife, Deborah (Johnson) Robinson; his daughter, Melanie Taylor Robinson; his stepdaughter, Mrs. Richard (Angela) Romero; his mother, Barbara Robinson; and the following family members; brothers, James (Deborah) Robinson and Joseph (Shawn) Robinson; sisters, Mrs. Vincent (Debra) Conners, Christina Hodgson and Mrs. Brian (Brenda) Lyman; nieces, Taira Robinson, Cailee and Courtney Robinson; nephew, Dustin (Brandi) Lyman and his children, Seth and Athena; step-granddaughter, Arica Romero and mother-in-law, Caroline Johnson. Of Steve's life accomplishments, he was a devoted father who loved his daughter with all his heart and "more than words can say", and was equally loved in return. Memorial Services will be held at the Three Angels (SDA) Church, 10750 Sunset Gardens Rd. SW in Albuquerque, on Thursday, December 27th, 2007 at 9:30 a.m. with a 2:30 military committal service at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. SAAM -- Sharron Lucille Saam, 63, a resident of Edgewood, NM and devoted French teacher at Moriary High School, passed away on Wednesday, December 19, 2007. She is survived by her children Mike Saam, Zachary Saam, and Melanie Pitsch; her grandchildren Tiffany, Nick, Kristi, Wyatt, and Logan; and her sister Ernestine Nunes; and the rest of her loving family. SALAZAR -- Emilio Salazar, 77, died December 23, 2007 after a long illness. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Betty Jane Salazar; children, Elizabeth Austin and husband Bob, Dr. John A. Salazar and wife, Marcia, Robert T. Salazar and wife, Shauna, Steve G. Salazar and wife, Amy, and Richard G. Salazar and wife, Stephanie; grandchildren, John Austin and wife, Tonya, Michelle Austin, Kenneth Salazar and wife, Amy, Brian Salazar, Andrew Salazar, Kristin Salazar, Jordan Salazar, Kyla Salazar, and Zoe Salazar, and great granddaughter, Madelyn. Emilio also has three siblings surviving him, Adelina Monseur, Benito Salazar, Charles Salazar. Mr. Salazar was preceded in death by his parents, Alejandro and Juanita Salazar and his brothers Raymond and Alex Salazar. Emilio served his country in the US Air Force and retired from the U S Postal Service after 30 years. He dedicated his life to his family especially his wife, children and grandchildren who he dearly loved. Rosary will be recited Wednesday, December 26, 2007, 7:00 pm at French Mortuary, Wyoming Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE.
