BOMASTER -- Dot Bomaster, 77, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on May 27, 2004. Dorothy Bell Stuart was born on February 28, 1927 in Groom, Texas. She attended public school in Portales, New Mexico. Dot is the beloved wife of and is survived by her husband of 32 years, Jay H. Bomaster. Dot was energetic, outgoing and genuinely loved the people she met. She was anything but shy and reserved. Today, we celebrate her life and remember her one-of-a-kind personality. She is also survived by Ron and Carolyn Rice, Bucky and Kim Bomaster; grandchildren, Race and Skyler Rice, Millie and Joshua Bomaster; a brother, Billy Joe Stuart and wife, Winnie of Lubbock, Texas; nieces and nephews, Larry Spears, Sandra Greer, Harold Stuart and Ruth Ann Crumpton. BROOME -- James E. (Jim) Broome, age 91 and a resident of Albuquerque for seven years died at his home Thursday May 27, 2004 following an illness. Mr. Broome is survived by three sons: James E. Broome Jr. and his wife Jamie of Louisville, KY, Paul E. Broome and his wife Miquelita of Albuquerque, and Kevin G. Broome and his wife Sharon of Albuquerque; seven grandchildren: Michael, Mary Catherine, James (Chip) III, Jacquie, Bill, Matt and Meese; five great grandchildren: John, Caroline, Nathan, Alex, and Michael; and his care-givers Michael and Sara Martinez. Jim was a member of Sangre De Cristo Catholic Church, the Knights of St. John, and Knights of Columbus. He was one of the original 'Father Baker Boys' at Our Lady of Victory Boys Home in Lakawanna, NY. He was a pioneer in the Credit Union movement in New York State and served as president of the New York Credit Union League. Viewing and visitation will be held Sunday May 30, 2004 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Fitzgerald and Son Funeral Directors, 3113 Carlisle Blvd. NE. EICHER -- Paul Eicher, 42, a life long resident of Albuquerque, died Monday, May 24, 2004. He is survived by his mother, Mary Lou Jensen and his caring step-father, Ed of Albuquerque; sisters, Martha Eicher and husband, Kevin Moynahan of Tucson, AZ and Laura Talla of San Diego, CA; nieces and nephews, Laura, Sarah, Kevin, Mark, Matthew and Karen; and numerous family members. Paul was preceded in death by his father, Dr. Paul M. Eicher, Sr. in 1977. Paul graduated from Sandia High School in 1979 and went on to attend the University of New Mexico. He had a special love for music, gardening and sports. Paul was dearly loved by his family and they will miss his passion for life and love of animals and nature. EZELL -- Opal Louise Ezell, Springhill, LA. Funeral service for Opal Louise Ezell, age 90, was held Friday, May 28, 2004 at 4:00 p.m. in the Bailey Chapel with Rev. Charles Woolley and Rev. Dee Andrews officiating. Burial and graveside service will be held on May 30, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. in the Cumberland Cemetery, Cumberland Cove, OK under the direction of Bailey Mortuary, Springhill, LA. Mrs. Ezell was born March 12, 1914 in Chiskaha, OK to William Edward and Maude Florence Swinford and died May 26, 2004 in Springhill, LA following a lengthy illness. She was a resident of this area for the past six years and a member of the Cullen Assembly of God Church. JAMISON -- Dr. Andrew John Jamison, Jr. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, 1:00 p.m., May 29, 2004 at Christ's Church in Roswell, NM for Dr. Andrew J. Jamison, Jr., 61, of Roswell. Pastor Gerry Chavez of Christ's Church will officiate. Burial will follow at South Park Cemetery. Andy died Wednesday after speaking at a series of conferences on the East Coast. Andy was born February 12, 1943 in Detroit, MI to Andrew and Gloria Scott Jamison. Both parents preceded him in death. On April 2, 1977 Andy married Kim Greenhaw in Roswell. Kim Survives him at the family home. Andy is also survived by his son, Christopher and his wife, Jill of Roswell and daughter, Kelly and her husband, Skip Martin of Weatherford, TX; brothers, Robert Jamison of Idaho Falls, ID, Alan Jamison of South Lyon, MI and their families, Fr. Dale Jamison of Espanola, NM; brother and sister-in-law, Dr. Bill Greenhaw and Linda of Artesia, NM and their children, Mathew and Heather Greenhaw. He was a marriage and family counselor of Christian Professional Counseling Services. Andy also assisted families in the adoption process of their children. He was a national speaker for PESI Health Care and adjunct faculty member at Easter New Mexico University at Roswell. Andy was a loving, Godly man that loved the Lord, and his first priorities were God and his family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Ballard Funeral Home and Crematory.

LOPEZ -- Mr. Ernest Jerry Lopez, 69, born in California and raised in Los Lentes, New Mexico, a wonderful father, grandfather, great-grandfather and best friend in the world to many was placed in the hands of the Lord on Wednesday, May 26, 2004. Mr. Lopez is the beloved father to Henry Lopez and wife, Jeanette, Ben Lopez and wife, Alice, Janet Micaletti, Beverly Barela and husband, Marvin, Veronica Benda and husband, Sonny, Geraldine Aragon and husband, Joseph, David Lopez and wife, Gail, Little Zamora and husband, Michael Finn, Isabel Crieth and husband, Kevin, Leonella ( Leo ) Martinez, Adolph Lopez and wife, Kathleen; one step daughter, Tammy Nalder; his beloved friend and ex-wife, Rosemary Lopez; 32 grandchildren, Adrieanne and husband, Julian, Eileen, Nanci, Cynthia, Donna, Lesley, Michael and wife, Angela, Joseph, David Rick and wife, Heather, Desiree and husband, Gilbert, Amanda, Steven, Tamara, Kelly, Tiffany, Finney, Erin, Katie, Lacey, K.C., Hailey, Sarina, Antone, Armani, Zachari, Ayla, Cheyanne and James; 12 great grandchildren, Julian, Jerome, Ariel, Deija, Tashi, Naomi, Ryan, Faith, Ethan, Xandor, Samantha and Monique; several aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and his best friend his dog, Toss Lopez. Mr. Lopez was preceded in death by his parents, Enrique and Isabel Lopez, a brother Pablo Lopez, a sister, Erlinda Lopez, his step-mother, Benny Lopez, a step brother, Richard Lopez, a granddaughter, Sierra Rose Crieth and other close family members. Mr. Lopez was a member of the Catholic Church. Mr. Lopez was well known for his expertise in the plating business where he practiced this craft and lived in Las Vegas, Nevada for the past 18 years. Jerry graduated from Los Lunas High School in 1953 where he participated in various sports and was the state shot put champion. Jerry always graciously opened his house and heart to all family and friends his residence in Las Vegas. He returned home to Los Lentes to spend his final days with all his family members. A Rosary was recited at San Clemente Catholic Church on Friday evening by Rosemary Lopez. A final visitation will be Saturday morning from 7:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. at the San Antonio Catholic Church, corner of Los Lentes and Trujillo Rd. in Los Lunas, with a Funeral Service to be held at 8:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the Los Lentes Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Michael Barela, Joseph Barela, David Rick Modisette, Michael Finny Zamora, Steven Aragon, Antone Martinez, Armani Lopez and Kelly Ray Lopez. MARTINEZ -- Arquin Martinez, age 82, beloved father and grandfather was called home by our Heavenly Father, Thursday, May 27, 2004, while surrounded by his loving family. Arquin was born in Edith, CO; and was a resident of Albuquerque. He was preceded in death by his wife Rita Martinez on April 28, 2004; a daughter, Judy Ann Guerra; and a son, Martin Martinez. ROMERO -- Frank A. Romero born January 3, 1922 resident of Corrales passed away peacefully in his home on the morning of May 25, 2004. Frank is survived by his wife of 60 years, Eufracia (Frazie) Romero and his two daughters, Esther Otero and Victoria Caldwell and husband, Charles. Five grandchildren, Joanne Brown and husband, Ken, Frank (Art) Otero and wife, Bernadette, Erica Sweeney and husband, Brian, Daniel Segal and Ryan Segal. Four great-grandchildren, Joseph Otero, Paul Otero, Austin Brown, Hailey Brown. Sisters, Alice Romero, Rosemary Martinez and husband, Leo, Theresa Chavez and husband, John. He is preceded in death by his parents Paul and Bonefacia Romero and his beloved son, Frank A. Romero Jr. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Funeral mass will be held today at 10:00 a.m. at San Ysidro Catholic Church, which Frank and his family helped build and attended for many years. A special thank you goes to the paramedics, volunteer fire department and police department of Corrales. SPRINGER -- Edward Earl, passed into God?s kingdom May 25, 2004, after a long illness. Born March 13, 1933 in Shelbyville, Tennessee. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Rosemary Laws Springer; two sons, Matthew Edward Springer in the United States Navy and Anthony Isaac Springer of Albuquerque; two grandchildren, Kelsey Denali and Paul Matthew of Norfolk, VA; his brother-in-law Robert M. Laws and wife Shirley of Tyler, TX; sisters: Patsy Sachitano of Beaumont, TX, and Dovie Jane Alfaro and her husband, John, of Houston, TX, and numerous nieces and nephews. Ed?s career included thirteen years in the United States Navy, retirement from K-Mart and from his own business of making models for architects and framing artwork. He was an artist in his own right designing and crafting needleworks and weavings. Ed was also a working partner in his wife?s business, Legacy Antiques of Albuquerque and Eagle Nest, NM. Ed was a devoted volunteer for and supporter of the New Mexico Museum of Natural History working in the field excavating dinosaurs and other specimens. He was a founding member of the NMMNH Foundation and the New Mexico Zoological Society. He was an outstanding Cub Scout leader and supported his sons in Scouting and the Children of American Revolution. Ed is a descendent of Henry Andrews, a solider of the Virginia Line, Revolutionary War. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, June 1, 2004, at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 5310 Claremont Ave NE, with burial of cremains to follow in the Santa Fe National Cemetery. TENNYSON -- Leslie W. Tennyson, Sr., 84, a resident of Rio Rancho for the past 13 years and also resided in Santa Fe for many years. Went to be with Our Lord on Thursday, May 27, 2004 after a long illness. Leslie was born February 9, 1920 the son of Charles Elmer and Nancy McPherson Tennyson in Kiefer, Oklahoma. He gallantly served in the US Air Force during WW II and was a prisoner of War, captured in the Phillipines and bravely survived the Bataan Death March. He was a member of the D.A.V., Bataan Veterans Organization, and American Ex Prisoners of War. He was preceded in death by one son, Leslie W. Tennyson, Jr. Leslie is survived by his loving wife, Lillian Koury Tennyson of Rio Rancho/Santa Fe; children, Cecilia Hanrahan and husband Bill of Santa Fe, Kenny Tennyson and wife Bernadette of Santa Fe, Carol Martinez and husband Ed of Morarity; brother, Harold Tennyson and wife Marge; two sisters, Virginia Jaramillo and Elma White; sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Waddel and Annabelle Koury; ten grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; many nephews and nieces. The Rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM on Sunday, May 30, 2004 in the Chapel of Vista Verde Mortuary, Sara Rd. at Meadowlark Ln., Rio Rancho. THOMPSON -- Ruth Miles Thompson, 93, a resident of Albuquerque since 1947, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 24, 2004. She was born Friday, February 10, 1911 in Barclay, KS to George Miles and Emma Ann Moore Miles. She had 3 sisters and 3 brothers. She married Harry Galen Thompson on August 17, 1938. She is survived by her son, George Thompson and wife, Judy, of Belen NM; brother, William Miles and wife, Marie, of Osage City KS; sister, Dorothy Kleine and husband, Ken of Evansville, WY; granddaughters, Jenny Thompson and Margaret Henderson and husband, Bill, and two great- grandchildren, Katelynn Henderson and Samantha Henderson, all of Albuquerque and several nieces and nephews. WEBER -- Robert C. Weber "Bob" was born on May 2, 1922 in Ft. Bayard, New Mexico to William Lloyd Weber and Elizabeth Irene Rice. Bob died on May 26, 2004 in Albuquerque after a long battle with Cancer. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers William L. Weber Jr. of Preston, Idaho, and John Weber of Rexburg, Idaho and his sisters Alice Tochterman of Bellevue, Washington and Mary Edith Sullivan of Albuquerque and his wife of 23 years Fredericka Juhasz, and his second partner of 19 years Ruby Byers. His survivors include his sister Ruth Helen Simms (brother-in-law Charles) of Albuquerque and sister-in-law Sara Weber and family of Rexburg, Idaho and sister-in-law Ruth Weber and family of Groton, Connecticut, sister-in-law Gail Schleifer of Albuquerque and sister-in-law Carol Wehrs of Houston. His surviving children are his daughter Robin Chall (and son-in-law Robert), sons Matthew Weber, Michael Weber (and daughter-in-law Kathy), Robert Weber Jr. and his step-daughter Kimberly Byers (and Mike Callenberger). His cherished grandchildren include Cindy Silva (and her husband Ben), Chris Chall (and his wife, Stephanie), Charles, Melissa and Paul Weber, Rachel Sanchez, Steven, Vincent, Chris and Sandi Spiak. He is also survived by his precious great-granddaughter Jessica Chall and his newest great-grandson Zachary Chall, who was born the day before he died. He also leaves behind many nephews and nieces including Tom Simms of Taos, Steve Simms (and his wife, Gail), John Simms (and his wife Alice), and Mary Ellen Slemp (and her husband Larry) of Albuquerque and Mark Montgomery of Bakersfield, Joan Montgomery of Los Angeles, Kathy Pattinos (and her husband Matt) of Houston. Bob grew up in Tularosa, New Mexico and attended Tularosa High School and was a member of the local Presbyterian Church. He claimed Jesus Christ as his Savior prior to attending college at New Mexico State University. He majored in History and English and maintained a strong interest in those subjects his entire life. He loved to watch the History Channel and the Discovery Channel. He was an athletic person and participated in football in high school and college and shared that love with his sons and grandsons. He also enjoyed playing basketball with his sons and nephews. Bob served his country with pride during World War II enlisting in the U.S. Army along with his childhood friends; even though he had been in ROTC in High School and College. He served as a rifle platoon leader of the 1st Platoon, F Company, 290th Infantry Regiment of the 75th Infantry Division. During the majority of his combat service, 1st Lieutenant Weber served as the Company Commander in France and Germany. He was decorated with the Bronze Star with one oak leaf cluster and fought in the Battle of the Bulge. His war experiences were always near at heart and he often thought of his comrade. He worked as a sales manager at Albuquerque Linoleum and Carpet Company and All of State Carpet for a total of 54 years. Among his co-workers were close friends Gene and Vonnie Brasher, Charlie and Charlesy Chavez. WENDORFF -- Erwin R. Wendorff, 82, a resident of Albuquerque for 15 years, died on May 27, 2004. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Wendorff of Placitas, NM; brother, Dr. Horst Wendorff of Berlin, Germany; other relatives of Dresden, Germany. He was born in Beuthen, Upper Salesia. He is preceded in death by his parents, Albert Wendorff and Maria Dlugosch. In 1975 he received an award by the National Society of Professional Engineers for 1 of the 10 outstanding engineering achievements in the United States. In 1987 at the 750th anniversary of Berlin, Germany and accompanied by President and Mrs. Reagan, he read one his original poems. On October 28, 1986, he read one of his original poems in English and French at a ceremony celebrating the 100-year anniversary of the Statue of Liberty, that poem has been translated into at least eight languages. The poem now resides in the Bartholdi Museum in Kolmar, France. Memorial rosary will be celebrated on Saturday, May 29, 2004 at 9:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Bernalillo with Valentina Duran, reciting. WINDSOR -- Janet Sue Windsor. Her loving spirit left us on May 1, 2004. A longtime resident of Albuquerque, born April 30, 1943 in Idaho Springs, Idaho is survived by her son, Gregg Kotrola; and three brothers, John, James and Ray. She had a deep affection for animals and provided a home for stray cats and dogs throughout her life. Janet was a child of the 60's and embodied the best of that generation, a loving, peaceful personality fueled by a passion for music and the arts and an infectious sense of humor. For the past 20 years Janet was known for her superb work in sales in the high tech industry. Her friends and the number of people she touched are almost countless. "In the sweetness of friendship let there be laughter and sharing of pleasures." There will be a "Celebration of Life" on June 5, 2004, Noon - 3:00 p.m. at La Esquina Restaurant, First Plaza Galeria, Albuquerque. At her request, donations to Humane Animal Association of New Mexico, 615 Virginia SE, 87108, would be greatly appreciated.
