Pedregon -- IN MEMORY OF JOE PEDREGON June 2, 1949 -August 23, 2001Honey, this would have been our First Wedding Anniversary. On our Wedding Day you encouraged everyone who attended our wedding to read two books, "Tuesdays With Morie," and "The Notebook." You recited a quote from "The Notebook," entitled, "THE WORDS OF LOVE" - 'I am nothing special; of this I am sure. I am a common man with common thoughts, and I've led a common life. There are no monuments dedicated to me and my name will soon be forgotten, but I've loved another with all my heart and soul, and to me, this has always been enough.' You are indeed special because you touched the lives of many people you came into contact with. They will remember you in the"monuments" of their minds. Your name will never be forgotten because each person you met you made a powerful impression. Yes, you did love me with all your heart and soul because it radiated from both of us. You touched my life with your sense of humor and positive attitude -even until the end. For me, this will be "enough". You are truly my "Angel of Humor." You gave me the gifts of trust, respect, and unconditional love. My head knows you are not suffering anymore, but my heart is broken and filled with sorrow and grief because I miss you and your humor, and my soul is at peace to know that I finally met my"soul mate" -as sung by Etta James," At Last". My life has been changed forever. Your spirit will live with me to eternity. Your Loving Wife, "Crackers" -Renie -
