Anagnostelis -- James Francis Anagnostelis, 14, passed away Tuesday, September 18, 2001, after a sudden but brief battle with Leukemia. He is survived by his parents, Jeri and James Anagnostelis; brother, Peter Anagnostelis, all of Albuquerque; grandparents, June and Jerry Britt of Albuquerque and Gus and Barbara Anagnostelis of The Woodlands, TX; great-grandmother, Helen May of San Rafael, CA; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. James was a Freshman at La Cueva High School and for the last several years he ran track and cross-country for the Albuquerque Track Club. He enjoyed many outdoor activities, including camping and was an avid snowboarder. James was very tenderhearted and compassionate. His many friends and family will greatly miss him. Cremation has taken place and Memorial Services will be held Saturday, September 22, 2001, at 10:00 a.m., at Grace Church, 6901 San Antonio NE, with Pastor Dave Bruskas officiating. Barreras -- Mr. Willie G. Barreras, 73, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on September 20, 2001. Mr. Barreras is the beloved husband of 54 years to Mrs. Andrea Barreras. He is also survived by his children, Pete Barreras and wife, Donna, Vivian Barreras and wife, Albie, Margaret Barboa and husband, David, Barbara Miller and husband, Luther, Andra Ponce and husband, Toby Jr. and Angel Barreras; four sisters, Beatrice Birner, Mary Jane Chavez, Emma Silva and husband, Albert, Estella Craig and husband, Colgate; two brothers, Bennie Barreras and wife, Louisa and Felix Barreras Jr., and wife, Grace; stepmother, Maria Barreras; half sisters, Rose Feldman, Paula Barreras and Gloria Armenta and husband, Carlos; half brothers, Felix Barreras, Jimmy Barreras and David Barreras and wife, Margaret; 13 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. Barreras was a member of the Catholic Church and a member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Union 412. Visitation will be Sunday afternoon in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and then at 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:30 p.m. by Gabriella Nieto. Final visitation will be Monday morning from 7:00 p.m. until 7:40 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 8:00 p.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco SW, Father Manuel VIera, Celebrant. Bobbitt -- Wesley Reid Bobbitt, 52, a resident of Albuquerque since 1977, a passionate and honorable man, died Saturday, September 15, 2001. He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Weber-Bobbitt; sons, John Wesley Browning and Jerrod Weber Sanchez, all of Albuquerque; mother, Betty Kearse Bobbitt of Charlottesville, VA; brothers, Bo Bobbitt and wife, Bonnie of Fayetteville, GA and Tim Bobbitt of Charlottesville, VA; nephew, Russell Bobbitt; niece, Melanie Bobbitt, both of Fayetteville, GA; aunt, Particia Ingersoll of Lake Forest, IL; sister-in-law, Bonnie Bobbitt of Fayetteville, GA; office ťkidsť, Chris Below, Krista Perea and Von Anaya, all of Albuquerque; many friends and relatives; and ex-wife, Helen Browning of Albuquerque. He was preceded in death by his father, Dr. O.B. Bobbitt of Charlottesville, VA. Wesley was born in Charlottesville, VA. He was a graduate of the University of Virginia Law School. After working for the District Attorneys' office in Carlsbad and Albuquerque, he was in private practice for the past 18 years. Wes was ever the student and teacher. Mr. Bobbitt was discretely generous as a lawyer and a friend and was the only lifetime member of the Albuquerque Chapter of the Irish American Society. Carter -- Donald W. Carter, 33, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, died Tuesday, September 18, 2001. He is survived by his mother, Esther M. Carter of Albuquerque; brothers, John W. Carter, Jr. and wife, Clara and Ron H. Carter, all of Albuquerque; nephews, Rusty Carter and Anthony Carter; and niece, Alexandra Carter. Mr. Carter was preceded in death by his father, John W. Carter, Sr. He had been employed by Business Cards Tomorrow for a number of years. For the past ten years, Mr. Carter was receiving kidney dialysis at Lovelace Medical Center where he touched the lives of many people who were also undergoing the same treatment. Dileanis -- Gus Dileanis, 87, a resident of Albuquerque for 47 years, died Thursday, September 20, 2001. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Kathryn of Albuquerque; two sons, John Dileanis and partner, Dr. Harold Rhodes and William Dileanis and wife, Merri, all of Albuquerque; four grandchildren, Kara, Kimberly, Cliff and Kevin; and one sister, Angeline Belinki of New Jersey. He was preceded in death by one brother; and four sisters. Gus was the owner and operator of Ace Radiator Service in Albuquerque. He was retired from the New Mexico State Fair. Trisagion will be held Sunday, 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE, with Father Mario Giannopoulos officiating. Dwyer -- Officer James Joseph Dwyer passed away Wednesday morning, September 19, 2001. James was a police officer with the Albuquerque Police Department. James died following a long battle with a rare form of cancer. After enduring numerous surgeries, massive chemotherapy treatments, and radiation therapy over the past two years, James life ended peacefully. James was a loving husband, son, brother, uncle, nephew and friend. James leaves behind a wife, Tammy; a sister and brother-in-law, Joanne and Karl Scheuch; a niece, Rebecca Scheuch; his mother and father-in-law, Eddie and Lori Lamb. There are many loving and supportive family from New Jersey including aunt, Mary Cruz, aunt, Carol; and uncle, Ray Seney; and many loving and supportive cousins. There are also innumerable strong loyal friends in Albuquerque and New Mexico. James was preceded in death by his mother and father, Louise and James Dwyer. He will be remembered for his unique personality, sense of humor, sense of duty, sense of commitment. and love of life. James and Tammy adopted and loved four retired racing greyhounds; therefore, in lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Greyhound Companions of New Mexico (505/ 281-7295). Gonzales -- James Gonzales, 52, a resident of Albuquerque passed away peacefully at home in the arms of his loving family on September 20, 2001. James is the beloved husband of 22 years to Veronica Gonzales. He is also survived by his mother, Mrs. Alejandra Gonzales; three daughters, Denise Saavedra and husband, Joey, Juanita Gonzales and Yvonne Gonzales; one sister, Rufina Lujan and husband, Boni; two brothers, Manuel Gonzales and Melecio Gonzales; one grandson, Joseph Saavedra; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. James was a member of the Catholic Church, a U.S. Air Force Veteran and he was a retired Fire Chief for Kirtland Air Force Base. Jaramillo -- Mrs. Dorothy Mae Jaramillo, 61, a resident of Los Lunas, New Mexico passed away on September 21, 2001. Mrs. Jaramillo is the beloved wife of 30 years to Mr. Alberto Jaramillo. Parker -- Leonard Anthony Bowles Parker, a former Certified Public Accountant with Henderson & Black, died on Wednesday, September 19, 2001. He is survived by his wife, Dolores Smith Parker and step-daughter, LuAnn Smith O'Connell, both of Albuquerque; his step-grandson, Lieutenant John J. O'Connell of Fort Hood, Texas; a sister, Kathryn Mayeur; as well as two nieces, Diane Cutaia and Deborah Ward; and a nephew, R.L. Mayeur, all of Houston, Texas. Parker was born May 29, 1916, in Mart, McLennon County, Texas. He was a graduate of Rice University and received his masters degree from the University of Texas. He held the distinction of having been a 50 Year Member of both the Texas and New Mexico Society of Certified Public Accountants. In 1973, Parker was elected and served as President of the New Mexico Elks Association. An avid golfer and member of the Albuquerque Country Club, Parker was well respected for his philanthropic contributions. He gave generously throughout the years to such organizations as the Presbyterian Healthcare Foundation, the Disabled American Veterans, the American Red Cross, All Faiths Home, the Salvation Army, the Roadrunner Food Bank and the Animal Humane Association. The family has not planned services and asks that, in lieu of flowers, contributions in Leonard Parker's memory be made to any of the above or to a charity of your choice. Leonard Parker was a loyal and caring friend and family member. His presence and generosity will be greatly missed.

Pearson -- Hildreth Pearson, 84, an Albuquerque resident since 1948, died Tuesday, September 17, 2001. She is survived by her daughter, Yvonne"Corky" Brewster and husband, Allen of Oak Creek, WI; three grandchildren, John Brewster and wife, Linda of Dousman, WI, Robert Brewster of New Berlin, WI and Earl Brewster of Colorado Springs, CO; seven great-grandchildren, Mike, Matt, Lukas, Shelby, Kacey, Audrey, and Grady Brewster; two great-grandchildren, Nathan and Andrea Brewster; sisters, Ruby Reichenbach of Moline, IL and Leona Kershaw of Phophetstown, IL; sister-in-law, Eulace Culp of Moline, IL; and other relatives and many friends. Salcido -- Pauline (Lena) Garcia went to her real home, Heaven, to be with her Lord Jesus Christ, on September 19, 2001, at 12:55 p.m. Pauline was born on June 22, 1931 in Albuquerque to Manuel and Guadalupe Garcia. Mrs. Salcido graduated from Albuquerque High School in 1950, then from Regina School of Nursing in Albuquerque with her Associate Degree in Nursing in 1954. Pauline worked as an RN at St. Joseph's prenatal care unit for a number of years, then she worked with Dr. Jack Adams until her retirement in 1992, at which time she went to work in the family business, Los Techos Roofing, until she became ill. Mrs. Salcido is survived by her husband of 47 years, Isidro (Joe) Salcido; three daughters, Geretta Abeyta and husband, Benjamin, Katherine Salazar and husband, Eliud, Elizabeth Montoya and husband, Michael; and one son, Robert Salcido; nine grandchildren, Audrey Ruiz, Benjamin, Cynthia and Daniel Abeyta, Zaqueo, Andres and Guadalupita Salazar, Michael and Dylan Montoya; she is also survived by her brother, Manuel Garcia and wife, Priscilla; three sisters, Rena Flores, Toni Ewing and husband, Jim all of Albuquerque and Tommie Smith and husband, Bob of Denver, CO. Mrs. Salcido was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Delfino Garcia; and one child, Mary Salcido. She was actively involved at the Holy Child Catholic Church in Tijeras, NM as a Eucharistic Minister, and in the Holy Alter Society. Our beloved wife and mother lived a life of love and serving God and others. She faithfully gave of herself to God's work and was a powerful prayer warrior. The Holy Rosary will be recited Friday evening, September 21, 2001 7:00 p.m. and Holy Mass at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 22, 2001 at the Holy Child Catholic Church in Tijeras, NM. Terrazas -- Emilio Terrazas, 80, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, passed away September 19, 2001. His four-year struggle with Alzheimer's has finally ended. He is survived by his beloved wife, Isabel; daughter, Angela Dixon; son-in-law, Dr. Terry Dixon; two grandsons, Beticus and Dru Dixon of Tulsa, OK; two brothers, Augustine H. Terrazas and Augustine T. Vau; and numerous nephews and nieces. He was a member of Queen of Heaven Catholic Church and Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus, John F. Kennedy and Sangre de Cristo Councils. Mr. Terrazas was a Veteran, serving as a Staff Sergeant in the European Theatre in World War II. Utsler -- Robert Utsler, 87, died on September 19, 2001 in Albuquerque, NM. He was born to Charles and Emma Richardson Utsler in Zanesville, OH and married Mary Elizabeth Sheppard on February 19, 1939. He was Director of Engineering for Kerr Glass Corporation before retiring and moving to Albuquerque in 1990. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church. Mr. Utsler is survived by his wife, Mary Elizabeth Utsler of Albuquerque; two sons, Larry Utsler and wife, Sandy of Huntington Beach, CA and Tom Utsler of Blanco, NM; and three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Wolters -- Ian Henry Wolters, 18, passed away Wednesday, September 19, 2001. He is survived by his loving parents, Ronald and Larianne Wolters; his brother, Noah Wolters; his sister, Belle Wolters; his grandparents, Henry and Ann Dickson of Portland, OR and Boston, MA, and Anne Wolters of Ridgefield, CT, as well as many, many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family. Ian was a Class of 2001 graduate of Valley High School where he was a member of the soccer team. He also enjoyed skateboarding, camping, fishing, working on cars and riding his motorcycle. Ian had an attitude all his own, living his life his way-lighting up every room and every life he entered. He had a million-dollar smile and an amazing laugh. Ian was so tender and loving, so special. He was generous, always taking the care and time to think of others. Close to his family, dear to his friends, Ian will remain in our hearts and with us all in spirit, always. Wright -- Amanda "Mandy" Wright, 11, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, September 19, 2001, after a courageous battle with Leukemia. She is survived by her parents, Steven and Elaine Wright; brothers, Chris and Caleb Wright, all of Albuquerque; grandparents, Peter and Phyllis Lusader of Albuquerque, Ed and Cathy Wimpy of Aztec and Don and Mary Wright of Albuquerque; uncles, Scott and Stephen Wimpy; aunts, Michele DeJong and husband, Ralph and Stacy Russo and husband, Al; and numerous cousins, family and friends. Interment will follow at Sandia Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be Scott Wimpy, Stephen Wimpy, Chris Wright, Anthony Kleinhenz, Michael Kleinhenz and Joshua Chiles. Zaharis -- Jean Zaharis, age 81, died on September 18, 2001 in Albuquerque. She was born in Fresno, CA to James and Christina Repa Natsoulas. She was preceded in death by her parents; and by her husband, John Zaharis and is survived by her daughter, Dimitira Coots of Albuquerque; and two grandchildren, Jonathan and Donald Coots of Albuquerque.
