Baca -- Mario Victor Baca born on September 22, 1999, died on April 9, 2001. He is survived by his mother, Kimberly Baca; his father, Victor Baca; his sister, Victoria Baca; his maternal grandparents, Gloria Carrillo, Ben Megah and his wife, Laura; his paternal grandparents, Deborah and Victor Baca; and numerous great-grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and family friends many of whom were there when he went into Jesus' arms. He was greatly loved and will always be in our hearts. The Mass of the Angels will be celebrated on Monday, April 16, 2001 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church 3674 Hwy 47, Peralta, NM. Bennett -- Rosa Maria Grado-Bennett, 54, a resident of Bosque Farms, peacefully passed away at her home in Bosque Farms after a long illness on Tuesday, April 10, 2001. She was a active member of the Potter's House Christian Center in Los Lunas. She worked for the Los Lunas Hospital and Training School for 11 years as a QMRP (Qualified Mental Retardation Professional) until the closure of the school. Before her employment with Los Lunas Hospital and Training School, she worked for various organizations as a social worker receiving her Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Washington in 1973 and Bachelor of Arts Degree in Journalism with a minor in Portuguese at the University of New Mexico in 1968. She is survived by her husband of five years, Alfred Bennett, III of the family home; her son, Leo Wagener of Bosque Farms; and her children, Carrie Morez and husband, Alton of Ft. Hood, TX; Shawna Bennett; Cherolynda Bennett Yazzie; Jessie Ruth Bennett, all of Albuquerque; and Alfred Bennett, IV of Ft. Hood, TX; four grandchildren; her parents, Miguel"Mike" and Josie Grado; one brother, Rudy Grado and wife, Jan; two sisters, Irma and Patty Grado, all of Albuquerque; two nephews, Ian and Matt Grado; and one niece, Sarah Grado. Rosa is also survived by her loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. A visitation will be held on Friday, 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. in the Romero Funeral Home Chapel. The family will be receiving friends and family at the Potter's House Christian Center in Los Lunas on Saturday, 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. with a Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place in the Terrace Grove Cemetery. Brown -- Walter L. ¯Walt¯ Brown, 72, a resident of Albuquerque, died on Wednesday, April 11, 2001. Walt is survived by his wife of 56 years, Lorraine M. Brown; sons, Larry Brown and wife, Dianne, Michael Brown and Walter Brown, Jr.; daughters, Helen Strader and Rosalie ¯Sandy¯Garcia; grandchildren, Brian Strader and wife, Dee-Dee, Eric Strader, and wife, Kelli, Jessica and Michelle Brown; great-grandson, Ty Strader and Walter Brown, III; brother, Gil Morris and wife, Pat and sister-in-law, Pauline Prendergast and husband, Dan. He served his country in the US Army. Walt dedicated his life to his family. He was the Athletic Commissioner in the State of New Mexico for 12 years, where he wrote many laws protecting boxing and wrestling participants. Dossey -- Joy Ann Dossey, 68, a resident of Albuquerque since 1957, died Thursday, April 12, 2001. She is survived by her son, Howard W. Dossey and wife, Yvonne; granddaughter, Tricia Dossey, both of Peralta; brothers, David, Travis and Robert Keeney of Albuquerque and Alvin Keeney of Belen; sisters, Mary Smith of CA and Katie Rockwell of OH. Joy Ann was preceded in death by her parents, R.D. and Lucille Keeney; and husband, Howard A. Dossey. She was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church and a more recent member of Riverside Baptist Church. Joy was a dedicated Lobo fan and supporter of UNM athletics. Duran -- Mrs. Priscilla Duran, 57, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on April 10, 2001. Mrs.Duran is survived by two sons, Ronald Gallegos and wife, Yvonne and Anthony Manuel Duran and Gloria Gallegos; one daughter, Peggy Kayser and husband, Eugene; one sister, Linda Gallegos; two brothers, Arthur Gallegos and wife, Frances and Sidney R. Gallegos, DDS; three grandchildren, Jason, Briana and Natalie; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mrs. Duran was preceded in death by her parents, Celestino and Epiminia Gallegos; her brother, Santiago V. Gallegos and her husband, Rumaldo Duran. Mrs. Duran was a member of the Catholic Church. Fisher -- Georgine Cofield Fisher was born in Madison, Indiana. She graduated from Butler University, and taught school in Madison before her marriage. She was married for 61 years to Theo O. Fisher, a Christian Church, (Disciples of Christ), Minister and shared his long ministry in Indiana. They later moved to Albuquerque where they had a ten year ministry at Monte Vista Christian Church. They retired in 1977 and stayed in Albuquerque. Georgine Fisher was the daughter of George and Marian Cofield of Madison, Indiana. She had two brothers, Sidney Cofield, (deceased), and Hilbert Cofield. There are five children, Karen L. Fisher of Albuquerque, Ted Fisher of Los Angeles, CA, Deborah D. Garrison of Albuquerque, Kristin Fisher, (infant deceased), and Lisa S. Giombolini of Albuquerque; ten grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. A Memorial Service will be held at Monte Vista Christian Church, (3501 Campus Blvd.) on Saturday, April 14, 2001, at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Alta Mira Specialized Family Services, 1605 Carlisle, Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110. Gallegos -- Pablo, 76, a resident of Albuquerque since 1950 passed away in his home on April 10, 2001. Gallegos is preceded by his wife, Lucinda and is survived by one daughter, Priscilla and husband, Joe Gutierrez; three sons,Tony and wife, Lorraine, Martin and fiance, Georgia, Paul and wife, LaVerne; 11 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Pablo served in the U.S. Air Force during WWII and received the Victory and American Theater Medals. He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) Church. Memorial Service will be held Thursday, April 12, 2001 at 7:00 p.m. at the Albuquerque Bi-Lingual SDA Church at 10750 Sunset Gardens S.W. Funeral Service will be held Friday, April 13, 2001 at 10:00 a.m. at the Albuquerque Bi-Lingual SDA Church, and burial will follow at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Santa Fe where he will be laid to rest with his beloved wife.

Kendall -- Opal May Kendall, 83, a resident of Peralta for 28 years, passed away at a local hospital on April 9, 2001. She was born in Mustang, OK on September 14, 1917 to the late Redden and Addie Goodwin. Opal is survived by her daughter, Karen Cox, of Albuquerque; her son, Wade Kendall, of Peralta; sisters Violet Lucero and Betty Jean Hamilton; three grandchildren, Kay Lynn Newmann; David Cox, and Wyeth Cox; and two great-grandchildren, Alex Newmann and Chelsea Newmann. Visitation will take place from 4:00p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 12, 2001 at Fitzgerald and Son Funeral Directors, 3113 Carlisle NE. Rayson -- Edward John Rayson, a resident of Albuquerque, NM passed away on Palm Sunday, April 8, 2001 at the age of 73. He was born April 7, 1928 in Hazleton, PA to John Edward and Mary Waldron Rayson. He graduated from Hazleton High School in 1946 and then enlisted in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Japan. He then graduated from Williamsport Technical Institute in Williamsport, PA. He worked for Western Electric and Bell Labs of AT&T as a graphic artist, technical illustrator and supervisor for 30 years in Winston-Salem, NC, El Paso, TX, Colorado Springs, CO, New York City and Teheran, Iran until he retired. He was a member of the Pioneer Fire Company and Christ Lutheran Church in Hazleton, PA. A member of the Augsburg Lutheran Church in Winston-Salem, NC and was currently an active member of the choir at Faith Lutheran Church in Albuquerque. He is survived by his wife, Lois Payne Rayson; two sons, John Thomas Rayson and Lincoln Robert Rayson; and a granddaughter, Alexis Nicole Rayson all of Phoenix, AZ; a brother, Harrison Richard Rayson of Chalmette, LA; and a cousin, Rev. Thomas N. Thomas of Santa Fe, NM. He was preceded in death by his father, John Edward Rayson of Hazleton, PA in 1977, his mother, Mary Waldron Kleppinger of Weatherly, PA in 1994 and a brother, Luther Sterling Rayson Sr. of Winston-Salem, NC in 1999. A Memorial Service will be held on Good Friday, April 13, 2001 at 10:00 a.m. at the Faith Lutheran Church. the service will be performed by Pastor Luther M. Mathsen. Redford -- Eileen L. Redford, age 80, passed away Sunday evening, April 8, 2001. She was born January 19, 1921 in Rainboro, OH. Reynolds -- Geneva Mitchell Reynolds, a resident of Albuquerque since 1968 was born April 29, 1925 in Childress, Texas. She died peacefully at home on March 27, 2001. Words cannot describe what a loving and caring person Geneva was. She always looked ahead and only embraced a positive outlook on life. Geneva¯s two dreams were fulfilled with trips to both Hawaii and Alaska in the last few years. Additionally, she kept very busy with her computer classes and activities with the Commission for the Blind and always enjoyed her line dancing. Geneva is survived by her son, Mitchell Reynolds, his wife, Kathy of Albuquerque; her daughter, Claudia Bates, her husband, Ron and grandchildren, Hillary and Justin of Booneville, Arkansas. Zondlak -- Joseph Louis Zondlak, 78, a resident of Rio Rancho, passed away on Tuesday, April 10, 2001. Joseph was born October 17, 1922 the son of John and Nellie Zondlak in Chicago, Illinois. He served in the US Army in WW II in the Infantry Division and received many awards and citations. Among them were the Purple Cross, the Oak Leaf Cluster, and several campaign stripes. He married Grace Soderberg of Chicago, IL. in June 1958. He began working for the People's Light and Gas Company of Chicago in 1948 and worked there for 30 years. At the time of his retirement in 1978, he was employed in the Division Services--Meter Testing and Repair. Following retirement, he moved to Rio Rancho, NM, where he has resided since. He was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church and served as an usher for many years. The hobbies he most enjoyed were photography and travel. Joseph was preceded in death by his loving wife, Grace on December 30, 1998, his father in 1970, his mother in 1974, an infant brother, and his sister, Ann Galazen on October 20, 1999. He is survived by his loving nephews, David (Donna) Galazen of Bayfield, WI; James (Anne) Galazen of Rochester, MN; Thomas Galazen of Bayfield, WI; and his loving nieces, Barbara (Thomas) Correll of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and Marsha (James) Mellen of Menominee, MI. He will be missed by all who loved him and who are grateful for the happy memories he left them. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebraed on Monday, April 16, 2001 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Albuquerque.
