Rivera -- Lucilla Rivera, 87, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away February 22, 2001. She was preceded in death by her husband, Meliton Rivera, son, Elias Rivera, grandsons, Leroy Flores and Thomas Vigil. She is survived by sister, Clara Ortiz; five daughters, and four sons, Aurora Flores and spouse, Amador Flores, Stefie Flores, Gloria Vigil, Chris Rivera and spouse, Becky Rivera, Mary (Rivera) Flores, Frank Rivera, Grace Miretti and spouse, Steve Miretti, Rudy Rivera and spouse, Louise Rivera, Timoteo Rivera, Rose Garcia and spouse, Fidel Garcia; 46 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; many other relatives and friends who loved and will miss her. She was a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker, and cook for the San Miguel County Schools. Services will be held at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, with Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 25, 2001. Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, February 25, 2001, brief Prayer Service at San Jose Catholic Church in San Jose, NM, with burial to follow.
