White -- Hazel Thornton White, 78, born on May 22, 1923 in Winston-Salem, NC, died Tuesday, November 20, 2001. She is survived by one son, Clarence L. White of Albuquerque; two daughters, Tehneh White of Albuquerque and Masue White of Los Angeles, CA; nine grandchildren, Tamara White, Pamara White, Cynthia Perkins, Andrea Perkins, Alex White, Johnny White, Rhonda Pruitt, Reginald Pruitt and Jesus Pruitt; and one great-grandchild. Hazel retired as a Public Health Nurse from Bridgeport, CN. She moved to Albuquerque to begin Weight Watchers and had served as the Director for the Albuquerque and Oklahoma Panhandle area since 1969. Hazel also served as Lector and Eucharistic Minister at Risen Savior Catholic Church for many years. Mass will be celebrated Thursday, November 29, 2001, at 9:00 a.m., at Church of the Risen Savior, 7701 Wyoming Blvd. NE. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE, Wednesday, November 28, 2001, 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
